The BLAZE (Bible Study)

Your past does not disqualify you. Your background does not separate you from God. In Christ, you have a place, a purpose, and an inheritance. When life makes you feel forgotten, remember this: God has not left you outside the promise. Through Christ, you belong.

You didn't earn salvation by being good enough. You can't buy it, work your way into it, or achieve it through your own strength. Salvation is God's gift received through faith in Jesus Christ.

Being chosen by God doesn't mean life will always be easy. It means your life has meaning, purpose, and direction in Him. So today, don't let rejection, disappointment, or others' opinions define your worth. God chose you to belong to Him and to live differently for Him.

John closes his Gospel by reminding us that Jesus did far more than what was recorded. The miracles, conversations, healings, acts of compassion, and moments of transformation written in Scripture are only part of what Jesus did.

God doesn't ask you to understand everything before you trust Him. He asks you to trust Him even when you don't have all the answers. Today, don't let what you can't see determine what you believe.

At the cross, after enduring rejection, suffering, and the weight of our sin, Jesus declared: “It is finished.” Those three words were not a statement of defeat. They were a declaration of completion.

Being “Not of This World” doesn't mean we run away from the world. It means we don't allow the world to determine who we are.

The way to the Father is through the Son. We don't earn eternal life through good works or religious performance. It is found in Jesus.

Don't allow today's pain to steal tomorrow's hope. Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep walking with Jesus. The same Savior who carries you through your sorrow is the One who promises everlasting joy.

The religious leaders had a problem, not because Jesus was doing something wrong, but because they were afraid of what might happen to their nation, their position, and their way of life.

Jesus wasn't asking people to believe Him simply because of what He said. He pointed them to the works He was doing that revealed His relationship with the Father.

We can become spiritually blind when pride, anger, unforgiveness, selfishness, or our own opinions become more important than God's Word.

Jesus isn't looking for temporary followers. He is looking for people who will remain.

You can drink something cold and refreshing, but eventually you will become thirsty again. You can accomplish your goals, make more money, gain followers, build relationships, or experience success - and still have an emptiness deep inside.

Sometimes God's Word will challenge your thinking. Sometimes obedience will require you to let go of something you love. Sometimes you will pray and not immediately see the answer. And sometimes, like the disciples in John 6, you may be tempted to walk away because the teaching is difficult to understand or accept.

Sometimes we become so familiar with our struggles that we begin to identify ourselves by them. We carry yesterday's disappointments, failures, regrets, and limitations as if they are permanent.

When Jesus spoke to the Samaritan woman at the well, He wasn't simply talking about physical water. He was revealing that the deepest thirst in our souls can only be satisfied through Him.

You can hear about Jesus and still reject Him. You can know Scripture and still refuse to surrender.

In John 2, Jesus performs His first recorded miracle at a wedding in Cana. The wine had run out, but Jesus wasn't finished.

The Book of John. The Bible is alive and active.

Disciplines of Engagement are the active spiritual practices that help you connect with God, experience His presence, and grow in Christlike character.

Christian spiritual discipline is the God-centered training that helps believers grow in holiness, deepen intimacy with God, and strengthen their spiritual life through consistent practices empowered by the Holy Spirit.

Removing sinful influences is not just about your effort; it's about His empowerment.

Sin does not start big; it starts small. It begins as a thought, a curiosity, a desire… and grows when we feed it. The Bible teaches that sin is like a seed: if watered, it produces destruction; if starved, it dies.

Anything that contaminates your inner life, your thoughts, morals, convictions, and relationship with God becomes a toxic substance. In the “last days,” when deception and moral compromise increase, guarding the purity of your mind and spirit becomes essential.

God calls us to be intentional about what we watch, listen to, meditate on, and allow to shape our emotions and decisions.

Stabilizing faith in difficult or “last days–like” times is a deeply human concern; the Word of God offers guidance for staying steady when the world feels unstable.

Rebellion can be confronted. Ignorance can be corrected. But indifference is a quiet, slow death.

Ignorance wasn't the issue. Exposure without transformation was. The cities' problem was not violent rebellion or overt hatred. It was spiritual indifference.

Jesus warned whole cities for refusing to repent, with scriptural detail, cultural background, and religious significance.

Jesus preached repentance urgently because every person will face God's judgment, and turning from sin is the only way to escape destruction and enter life.

Jesus preached repentance because it is the doorway into God's kingdom, the necessary human response to God's saving work, and the path to a restored relationship with God.

Jesus Loved Deeply, but He Never Enabled Sin or foolishness. Christlike love does not comfort someone in their sin; it calls them out of it.

The Bible calls believers to lay down selfishness, not their God-given dignity, worth, or safety. Sacrificial love is holy; destructive love is not.

Biblical love goes beyond emotions and convenience; it consistently calls us to lay down something of ourselves for the good of another.

We love because God asks us to, not because we always feel like it.

Because God is the source of all goodness, truth, and beauty, creation's beauty mirrors the inner beauty of God's character.

Creation is not only the product of God's love; it is also the display of His glory, goodness, and affectionate care for humanity.

Creation is the first great testimony of God's love. Before promises, prophets, or salvation history, Scripture opens by showing a God who lovingly brings life, order, and beauty into existence.

You may worry that not having another parent means a spiritual “gap” at home. But here's the truth: God fills every role you think is missing. He honors your effort, not your perfection.
