Our vision is to share the stories of transformation through the process of disciple making coming out of Brown to Green. Our hope is that the stories of transformation will stir your heart, your mind, and light a path for you in the wilderness. Luke 1:17 It goes by many terms discipleship, disciple-making, disciple of Jesus, disciple maker, however no matter what you call it there must be transformation involved. How are we becoming more like Jesus through the Words, Works, and Ways of Jesus? These are some stories of that transformation. Luke 1:17 17 and he will go before him in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready for the Lord a people prepared.” To learn more about Brown to Green go to http://browntogreen.org

One day, he had an encounter with the Lord that changed everything. This is the story of Dakota Palomino, disciple-maker. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/great-awakening-by-b2g/message

Whitney Hill, granddaughter of former guest Bobbie Holbrook, joins Lori and Lauren on this episode. After being introduced to Christ at an early age, Whitney lived an on-again/off-again “church life.” It wasn't until she was introduced to a new way of “doing church” through disciple making that her relationship with Christ began to grow. In fact, it would be a year into being discipled before she would realize that her purpose in Christ wasn't about her, but others - she was to give away what she knew about the Lord and His saving grace. As usual, you might observe a fallen tear or two, and, also common with the ladies, you'll hear mention of the late, great Rachel Moix.
