They dive into what parents should look for, how to empower the athlete, and many other tools and concepts that can help get the most out of an athlete's youth sports experience. At the end of the day it is all about making sure that the athlete is having fun. It is not about a championship at 9 years old. It is not about going 365 days a year on one sport alone. It is about an athlete having fun and developing both on and off the field. Enjoy!
In this episode Tim and China discuss the concept of Self Competition. In this increasingly short attention span society, we have to hold ourselves accountable for what wee focus on. We have the power to control our actions and a lot of our thoughts and not much else. We must learn to live internally and compete to be the best version of ourselves every day. Tim and China discuss Tim's saying, “You are either an amateur or you're a professional.” Basically, every decision that you make you have an opportunity to be an amateur or a professional. If you are competing with yourself to be elite, and to be the best version of yourself, train yourself to make the professional decision. This could be something as simple as brushing your teeth before bed. The more small professional decisions you make over time, the more your standard will be professional and not amateur. Be a professional tribe! Kick today's ass one decision at a time!
In this episode Tim and China discuss the societal temperature on topics like loyalty, service and being there for others. They also talk about the power of seeking solutions instead of focusing on the problem or the drama in life. In the modern world the attention span is rapidly declining. If we are not careful, our routine and the mundane will take over our lives. Tim and China challenge the tribe to reflect on their lives and take responsibility for what happens to them. We have so much more control of our lives than we give ourselves credit for. Take control of your life and seek the solution rather than focusing on the problem and the drama. Simplify your life and define what it is that you want and go get it!

Tim and China discuss experiences from their own life to display he power of being cordial. The amazing thing is that we all have the equal ability to treat others with peace, love and positivity. It is a choice. If you begin to implement situational awareness, and treating people positively, you will see a tremendous positive shift in your life. Take the journey with Tim and China on this episode and enjoy! -Thank You : )
In this episode China and Tim discuss the concept of diversification. A lot of times we think of diversification as a financial term that has to do with stock portfolios but it is so much more than that. We can diversify our lives to bring multiple areas of passion into our lives to live more abundantly. If we are focused too much on one thing, and that thing goes south or negative, it affects all of our life. If we diversify our lives one problem will not derail us and we can put our energy into other fields of passion. The key to successful diversification is give 100% of your effort and 100% of your focus to whatever the task at hand is. You want your hands in a bunch of different things but you want to focus on one thing at a time in the moment. That is the key to successful diversification. Commit to the moment and give the task at hand your all before moving on to the next one. Learn how to diversify your life effectively in this episode from Tim and China and get to work!
In this episode Tim and China discuss the topic of Labeling. Things are labeled in our lives from the very second we are born. We are programmed to think a certain way, look a certain way and strive for certain things. Our peers, our family and the media program us constantly to label situations, individuals or circumstances a certain way. We do not even notice that we structure our life based on these labels and get far away from our true and genuine self. We have to analyze what our societal expectations versus our personal expectations. Are your personal expectations yours or are they what societal labels have created in your head? Tim and China dive deep in to these concepts and give you actionable steps to make sure you are living a genuine life and taking ownership of your labels for the world. Enjoy!

In this episode Tim and China talk about the good old New Years Resolutions. Why do we always make January 1st so important? It is as if we think we can overhaul our entire thought process in one day. Tim and China discuss how we can maintain good habits and productive daily actions all year long and all life long. What do we all want? We want to live our authentic life and be the best versions of ourselves. In order to get there we have to have a vision and take daily actions to get towards that goal. After that we need to reflect on those actions and see if we are getting close to that vision or not. Either way, it gives us valuable information as to what we need to do next. If those actions are getting closer to our vision, we continue and build momentum. If those actions are getting us farther away from our vision, we make adjustments and continue to move forward. The final step is having the patience to achieve your goals. Patience is the hardest part but anything worth achieving takes time. Vision + Action + Reflection + Patience = Authentic Best Self Set your vision. Take action. Reflect. Have patience. Enjoy your authentic self!
In this episode Tim and China discuss all you need to know to have your best year. Many people use the end of the year as an excuse to reset and set New Year's Resolutions. This is not a bad tradition. However, if you only keep your discipline for the first six weeks of the year and then go back to your bad habits you need to make a change! It is all about trusting the process of what you are doing no matter if it is the beginning of the year, middle of the year, etc. Tim and China discuss continuous goal setting and how to keep yourself motivated and disciplined all year long. Enjoy this episode and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
In this episode Tim and China discussion to change your perspective in a way that better serves you. A lot of times we will focus on the minor negative part of a situation instead of the amazing amount of positive in that same situation. If something changes us from our routine a lot of times we have a negative reaction. We don't embrace change, we fight it and try to find something to blame for that change. China and Tim discuss this and how it relates to their lives. They also discuss how this is so relevant around the holidays. We have so much to be thankful for and yet we let little negatives snowball out of control and effect us more than they should. Enjoy this episode and learn how to change your focus to the amazing blessings in your life and all of the positive around you.
In this episode Tim and China dive in to the societal view of what it means to be “lucky”. Lucky seems to be thrown around a lot these days when it comes to people accomplishing things. No one wants to admit that success takes hard work, sacrifice and grit and so they just accept the excuse that successful people must be fortunate or lucky to be where they are. This is BULL SHIT! Hard work, self-discipline and sacrifice is what creates luck for yourself. Most anything that is accomplished in life is hard work and NOT luck. The harder you work, the luckier you seem to get. Are you aligning yourself with purpose? Do you know what you are trying to accomplish? Are you creating your own luck? Ask yourself these questions. Determine what makes you feel lucky and GO WORK FOR IT!

A lot of times we can get into the a repetitive routine and forget to spend time relaxing and unplugging from the stresses of everyday life. In this episode Tim and China discuss how to get out of a rut. We all fall in to a rut sometimes. They key is how quickly do you get out off that rut and do you have tools in place to help you get out quickly. Usually we fall into a rut because of a lack of discipline. We stop doing what we did to get us into a positive spot. Little negative decisions start to add up and we find ourselves in a full-fledged rut. Sometimes the rut can last for weeks, months, or even years. Tim and China discuss the two phases of getting out of a rut: first you need to identify that you are in and second you have to have tools in place to get out of it. Enjoy their perspective and action steps to help you the next time you are in a rut!
In this episode Tim and China discuss the topic of urgency. It is not about being feeling urgency for results. Instead it is about being urgent in making positive changes in your life. It is about being urgent to take action towards things that will bring more value to your life. So often we confuse urgency with a quick fix and expect to make significant changes quickly or overnight. Unfortunately this is not realistic and we often find ourselves feeling disappointed and reverting back to exactly where we were. Significant change takes repetitive positive actions over a period of time. You need to be lean with your actions and choices and make sure you are analyzing the way you are living your life. You have to go internal, define your goals and what is important to you, and figure out the daily steps to get there. Enjoy Tim and China discussing a familiar word in a different way!
