Former Antwerp Giants coach, player, icon,... Roel Moors made the transition to the big German Basketball League during last summer. He is the new head coach of Brose Bamberg.  We talked about his experience so far, the difference between belgian league and german basketball, and also a bit about how a player should prepare to make a dream come true and be a professional player. Former belgian pro league player of the year Ismael Bako made the jump to ASVEL in France during the summer. It's a big move for the big man, since ASVEL is playing Euroleague and are reigning champs in France. We learn how he got this chance to play at the highest european level and what he expects from it. If he will ever play in the NBA and what teammates he would choose to play with. Enjoy! In this episode we talk with International Scout for Combine Basketball Academy in North Carolina, Adrian Moris. One of the players that went through the academy is belgian guard David Filbiche. Since then he started playing professional basketball in Serbia. We were glad he could also join in, live from Serbia.

In this episode we had the pleasure to speak with belgian coach Pascal Meurs. During the summer he moved to Spain to become the headcoach of the EuroProBasket International Academy in Valencia. We talk about his basketball journey and how he ended up in Valencia. His love for Spanish basketball is obvious and well-founded. Since Spain became World Champion again this year, one might say that they have the perfect basketball blueprint for sustainable success. Of course we also discussed if we can transfer some of the Spanish aspects into Belgian Basketball. Lots of interesting takes on this!

As a Belgian podcast, we will be following the domestic pro league closely. Every few weeks we will be adding an Actua episode to the TIB Playground podcast show, to talk about the news, games, events happening in the Belgian Professional Basketball League. In this first episode we talked with Belga Journalist, Maarten Weynants, about the new competition format, the new streaming platform and we do a small preview of each team competing in the League.

A dutch guy and a belgian guy walk into a room... A funny start of an equal funny podcast with BC Oostende youngsters Buysschaert and Van Der Vuurst De Vries. We talked about the tournament, the amazing year for Keye, the bad defense of Servaas and a crazy coach.

Each year we are present during the Coca-Cola International Xmas Tournament in Kortrijk, Belgium. Hundreds of MU19 international prospects competing during three long days. We made use of opportunity to interview some of the players.  In this episode we sit down with a living legend of belgian basketball, Mr. Barry Mitchell, and his son Ajay Mitchell.  We talk about the tournament, the level of basketball in belgium, Ajay's future, and some good advice for federations and youth players in general.

We sat down with coaches Matthew Morris of the Combine Academy in the US and Adrian Moris of the European Gladiators Basketball program.
