C'est une révélation qui risque de refroidir les ardeurs des partisans du cloud « souverain ». En Allemagne, un rapport juridique commandé par le ministère de l'Intérieur, longtemps resté confidentiel, vient d'être rendu public grâce à une demande d'accès à l'information. Et son constat est sans appel : les lois américaines permettent bel et bien aux agences de renseignement des États-Unis d'accéder à des données hébergées en Europe. Pour y voir clair, Berlin avait missionné des juristes de l'Université de Cologne. Leur question était simple, mais explosive : jusqu'où s'étend réellement le pouvoir des autorités américaines sur les données stockées hors de leur territoire ? La réponse tient en quelques textes bien connus à Washington : le Stored Communications Act, renforcé par le Cloud Act, et surtout la section 702 du Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, prolongée par le Congrès jusqu'en 2026 au moins. Ensemble, ces lois offrent une portée extraterritoriale massive aux services américains. Le point clé est juridique, pas géographique. Peu importe que vos données soient stockées à Francfort, Dublin ou Paris. Ce qui compte, c'est qui contrôle l'infrastructure. Si la maison mère d'un fournisseur cloud est basée aux États-Unis, elle peut être contrainte de transmettre des données, même si celles-ci sont hébergées par une filiale européenne. Et la zone grise va plus loin encore : selon les experts cités par Heise Online, même certaines entreprises européennes peuvent être concernées dès lors qu'elles entretiennent des relations commerciales substantielles avec les États-Unis. On pourrait croire que le chiffrement règle le problème. Là encore, le rapport tempère. Le droit américain impose aux entreprises de préserver l'accès aux données jugées pertinentes dans le cadre d'enquêtes potentielles. Un fournisseur cloud qui se rendrait techniquement incapable d'y accéder s'exposerait à de lourdes sanctions. Résultat : un conflit frontal entre le RGPD européen, qui limite les transferts vers des pays tiers, et l'extraterritorialité revendiquée par Washington. Le Data Privacy Framework, censé servir de pont entre les deux blocs, apparaît plus fragile que jamais.Cette situation touche directement les géants américains du cloud, mais le cas de Microsoft 365, omniprésent dans les administrations et les entreprises européennes, cristallise les inquiétudes. Certains juristes estiment qu'un usage compatible avec le RGPD reste possible, à condition de mener des évaluations d'impact très poussées. D'autres jugent cette approche illusoire. Pour des acteurs comme Nextcloud, le diagnostic est clair : audits et clauses contractuelles ne suffisent plus. L'Europe doit investir massivement dans ses propres infrastructures, miser sur l'open source et développer des technologies réellement autonomes. Daten is voor bijna iedereen wel een spannende bezigheid, maar zeker ook voor 40- of 50-plussers die al een hele geschiedenis met zich meedragen.   Janneke Schokkenbroek is communicatiewetenschapper en criminoloog. Zij deed aan de universiteit Gent onderzoek naar schadelijk technologie-gebruik in romantische relaties en schreef het boek Appily Ever After – een gids voor liefde in digitale tijden.  Kasper van Kooten is acteur en te zien in Oogappels als Bastiaan; de collega en vriend van Merel. Maar hij is ook een aantal jaren ‘beroeps-dater' geweest; hij schreef columns over daten en maakte tot voor kort de podcast ‘Kasper spreekt af' en hij staat ook in het theater met de comedyshow ‘Swipe-night'.

Een bommetje in het Belgische voetbal, want Club Brugge heeft trainer Nicky Hayen ontslagen. Het kondigde ook meteen zijn opvolger aan en dat wordt AA Gent-trainer Ivan Leko. Bij Gent reageren ze verbouwereerd en beweren op voorhand niet op de hoogte te zijn gebracht. Peter Vandenbempt laat zijn licht schijnen over de situatie.

Pierre Costini est un jeune ingénieur spécialisé dans les énergies durables. Il est passionné par les sciences et c'est également un vélotafeur convaincu. Il est plein d'enthousiasme dès que l'on parle de déplacement à vélo. C'est par curiosité qu'il s'est lancé l'été dernier le défi de partir vers le Cap Nord pour le plaisir de voyager à vélo, mais aussi pour découvrir dans les pays nordiques, comment ils ont adopté le vélo pour se déplacer. Pour cela, il a parcouru plus de 10 500 km durant quatre mois sur son vélo du quotidien. En plus de beaux souvenirs, il rapporte de ce voyage une moisson de bonnes pratiques qu'il espère pouvoir faire appliquer dans sa région des Alpes-Maritimes.Quand j'appelle Pierre pour qu'il me parle de son voyage, il me dit : "Je suis juste un mec qui fait du vélo. Je suis parti de chez moi à Cagnes-sur-Mer en mettant cap au nord avec l'envie d'explorer sans rien prévoir, mais avec cet anthropisme pour la partie cyclable du vélo…" Derrière cette envie de tourisme, il y avait bien la curiosité d'aller voir des endroits où il se passe des choses pour le vélo. Hennes tron bestreds av flera europeiska makter, och hon tvingades försvara sitt arv i det österrikiska tronföljdskriget. Genom diplomati, beslutsamhet och genom att vinna stöd från de ungerska stormännen lyckades hon inte bara rädda sin krona utan också befästa sin ställning.Efter krigen vidtog en omfattande reformperiod. Maria Teresia moderniserade rättssystemet, skatteuppbörden, myntväsendet och skolväsendet. Hon förbättrade jordägandets struktur och utvecklade sjukvården. Resultatet blev ett effektivare statsbygge, som gjorde Habsburgarnas rike till ett föregångsland i många avseenden.Utöver sitt politiska och administrativa arv var Maria Teresia även familjens strateg. Hon födde sexton barn, däribland drottning Marie-Antoinette av Frankrike. I want to talk about Henry Hill, some of the other mob people in the Lucchese family, but it seems like I wasn't really finding a show that was just focused on Burke. So, James, Jimmy the Gent, Burke and where he came from and where he went. If Henry Hill had not gone into witness protection, if Henry Hill had not done that book with Nicholas Pelleggi, Wise Guys, or if the famous filmmaker Martin Scorsese hadn't taken Wise Guys and Pellegi's book and got Pellegi to help write a script and titled it Goodfellas. And when Robert De Niro took the part of Jimmy the Gent, his place in history was assured, I'll tell you that, especially in mob history. In my humble opinion, this book and film were arguably the best depictions of day-to-day mob life ever that I've ever seen. I thought it was amazing. He did a heck of a job at the casino. [1:55] And to see the egos of these guys, once they turn, are just amazing. When Lefty Rosenthal heard Robert De Niro was going to play him, he told Pelleggio, oh yeah, I'll work with you, I'll work on this. And I'm not sure what brought Henry Hill around,
