Rob Interviews author Russell Nohelty from Wannabe Press about the virtual comic-con WannaCon that is happening this weekend. Last weekend, Emerald City Comic Con made the decision to cancel their convention that was to happen this weekend. Since then, a bunch of conventions have started canceling which is not just bad for the fans and the companies behind the cons, but the artists and vendors that make their livings of the cons are hit especially hard. Today’s guest, Russell Nohelty, and his company, Wannabe Press, wanted to do something to fill the gap created by the loss of the show. Acting quickly, he created WannaCon, a virtual comic convention starting this Friday-Sunday, March 13th-15th, from 12 pm-4 pm Pacific Time featuring some of your favorite indie artists and creators. Today I have a quick interview with Russell so he can let you know about this cool event. As pop culture convention and comic fans, I cannot urge you enough to check out WannaCon and Support any artists you are interested in on its panels.
