We chatted with Noel in the beginning but wanted to catch up since its been a few years and the first season were only 1/2 hour episodes. Noel was in the San Diego band The Classified and continues writing music to this day.

We sit in with Andy Platfoot , bass player for the Buck o Nine .After we get to hear a new song the band has written ,we catch up and then dive right into Andy's working studio and chat about how the work songs back and forth since band members live in different cities and states .  We find out how he got into the band through the reader with a recommendation from Blink 182 . Stinkaholic being Andy's first band and then after a replacement bass player ended up having an episode on stage while on tour , Andy's opportunity arises again and was crash coursed into the band with 25 songs as his audience introduction.  this is just the beginning of a great chat with Andy ! enjoy

We sat with Clint Grahm from Dying Species , Inciting Riots , Homeless Sexuals ,The waste aways and Jon Cougar Concentration camp .  Clint and Jerm ran in the same group of musicians in Santee ,California and Clint  played in many bands with different musicians from East County.  Once again skateboarding is a string that ties everything together . This episode we get to dive deep into the origins of club Soma with Sweat Engine's Trevor Henthorn . We met way back in about 1989 or so when the club was still mainly a dance club with occasional bands . Deep dive on the different scene we all grew up in. Again you find the link between skateboarding as music ! We chat with Sammy who is a local legend when it comes to sound engineering, we go deep into his first years doing sound as well as some shows and partners as well as apprentices. Sammy was doing sound for SOMA even before i started booking shows and continued working with us on and off for many years . He is known all over town and can be found 7 days a week at Humphreys as well as other local concert venues .This was a great time and Im sure youll enjoy Sammy as much  as Jer and Jerm do ! 

Jerm & Jer did our first remote session for this one. Gina , sister of the Cazares family , welcomed us to her home to hang out and record. Rocky , brother , was in town and Dino as well as Gina's son Zane , drove down as well as Jer. This was a bit of coordinating and even though I had to run home early , the family had a BBQ and I was blessed to be welcomed as family . we talk about Dino`s projects and brush into a bit of history . Dino Cazares : founding member/ creator of Fear Factory , Asesino , Divine Heresy and Brujeria, talks about roots of Brujeria ,as well as getting on Alternative Tentacles records . We chat about  Fear Factory`s AMAZING version of "cars" which is originally performed by Gary Numan as well as play some music including my favorite as well as Dino`s favorite Brujeria song . Rocky shares stories of working at SOMA and Gina , whom we need to get more time to chat with, shares some stories with us. This is one of the most fun ive had so far . We had a few beers flowing and had some laughs as we catch up and the jokes fly and the drinks go down ! This was our longest episode to date.jerm and jer chat with Dan Albert and Jeff Hawthorne . Dan plays trombone in Buck o Nine and Jeff Hawthorne played drums for Buck o Nine as well as G Spot. We go back to the roots  and once again the San Diego Reader is the place where they became a band thanx to the classifieds. This was 1987 .We discuss Jon Pebsworth( singer of Buck o Nine ) having a heart attack right before going on tour. Tony and Dan's stage mishap on the last show of the tour.Having band members in 3 different states , practicing becomes different and touring is basically the way to get everyone together. Jer and Jerm chat with Monica Sierras & Colin Smith about the origins of Dodgeball , Cockroach! and their current project Pentagrams and Daises . Colin talks about recording with Frank Melendez from Sprung Monkey that turned into a couple 7inch records as well as the idea of a secret song on a local CD  called Lump Of Coal . Bands on the CD were :Spazboy, Swindle, Dodgeball , carter Peace Mission, Everready , Jon Cougar Concentration Camp, Third Rale and the Neighbors ,. with and all star jam for the 12 days of christmas  We chat about the handmade merch and Colin's artistic outlet while working at Tower records . Touring struggles and band members over the years with Dodgeball . Colin and Monica eventually getting married . We play some music and dive into the origins and concept behind cockroach! , Monica shares crazy stories of their singer  Mike and his antics on stage like shaving his eye brows  as well as Mike losing his glasses in the pit while Green Day was playing and being called up on stage to sing a song with Billy Joe . Serg from System of a Down liking the name Pentagrams and Daises and hence they kept the name . I mention my heavy drinking by throwing blame to being "sponsored" by Bud Light and eventually Coors .(long running joke . Great stories and a fun time reuniting with former bandmates ! My ring alarm goes off randomly during the interview !
