Nadia and Omar open up this weeks episode by talking about how much the world sucks right now and how It's been really difficult to escape the heavy energy lately. After nearly two years, they finally make it out to the movie theater to watch Candyman, to celebrate their friend Darla's birthday. Hear them weigh in on the new take on the 90's cult horror film. They also attend an influencer event sponsored by Calidad Beer & JAJA tequila and grab dinner at Alejos, a local Italian spot, afterwards. Plus their review on the Amazon Prime documentary Val, documenting the life of actor Val Kilmer. Which prompted them to then watch Tombstone, a western classic.
This week Nadia and OMar recap their much needed weekend getaway camping in the great outdoors with friends. Listen in as they recount where they went, what they ate and what they did, including their mushroom experience. Which lead them to discuss the astounding new Netflix documentary, Fantastic Fungi. Despite Nadia's busted toe, she gets tempted with an impromptu trip to Las Vegas to see Christina Aguilera perform at the new Virgin Hotel. Then Nadia races home from Vegas to meet with OMar and some friends to watch Thundercat perform at the Hollywood Bowl.
