Welcome to With You - where we seek to grow deeper in our relationship with God. Even though we're not with you, we're With You. Five mini episodes are released every Sunday-Thursday morning. Listen daily while brushing your teeth and by the end of the week we will have read the passage (Sundays), learned the context (Mondays), dug into the main point (Tuesdays), been challenged to live it out (Wednesdays), and gotten to hear from a special guest (Thursdays). Hosted by Tony and Phoebe.
Arbor Road Church High School Ministry

As followers of Jesus, we have received the greatest gift we could ever imagine and have joy that cannot be taken from us. Yet, our world is broken and we still experience and witness suffering. So what do we do when we feel sad? This past Wednesday, June 26th, Brian To spoke on the emotion of sadness. He brought us through Psalm 88, which gives us permission to bring ourselves to God when we are sad. He knows our sadness and is present in it. You have permission to lament to God.
On Sunday June 16th, Pastor Tony taught on the HSM value All Are Welcome. Why do we welcome any high schooler into HSM? Because Jesus welcomes all people to Himself! But even more important than us welcoming people into HSM is welcoming others into the Kingdom of God. If we are unwilling to share the Gospel with people, we are unwilling to embody this value.
Fullerton Free youth pastor and former ARC Intern, Amy Atienza, joined us as we asked the question, "What do I do when I experience fear?" She encouraged us that there is beauty to our fears because it pushes us to God, but that we also should go to war with our fears. Let us surrender our fears to God over and over again.

Give this a listen to find out what this lie is so convincing and what God has to say in response.**Our microphone cut out for 2 minutes at the 15:21 mark. The 3 nuggets to take away from the first point are: 1) We are created in God's image, 2) God created Eve as a complement to Eve (and vice versa), & 3) Sex has preset purposes.

HSM Pastor, Phoebe Morris, teaches on Revelation 21:1-8 on Sunday, December 18th. Advent is the season where we hold in tension looking back and look forward. Advent literally means “arrival”, usually the arrival of royalty. We look back and remember that God, our King, took on human flesh in order to live with and die for us. He arrived humbly, as a vulnerable infant. In a similar way to the Jews anticipating the arrival of the Messiah two thousand years ago, we as Christians anticipate a second advent of Jesus. Jesus IS coming back. And He WILL finish what He started; He WILL make all things new. As we wait for Him to return, we long for the things that He will fix ADVENT-UALLY.
