Summer of Stein Big Brother 28 Week 5 Also available on YouTube. Big Brother 28 keeps the drama alive as evictions and blindsides shake up trust in the house. This Summer of Stein with Rob Cesternino and Eric Stein dives into the fallout after the house flips and major alliances scramble to control the vote. Last week's eviction saw Lyric unexpectedly sent packing, with players still debating the wisdom of leaving certain houseguests out of the vote and the chaotic aftermath of lying about what happened. The episode covers HoH decisions, Veto strategy, and the rocky five weeks for Haley, whose presence on the block and missteps draw both sympathy and critique. Social tension bubbles up as Angela and Haley clash over loyalty and lies, while side plots like Barrett's DR antics and Chuk's unique hygiene habits provide comic relief. The house's etiquette around alliance names, family shout-outs, and even personal grooming become points of discussion, highlighting how everyday moments turn into game fuel. The decision to blindside Lyric splits the house and alienates members, creating lasting trust issues; Eric Stein questions the logic behind the lies and exclusion. Angela and Haley's blow-up escalates quickly, with Angela's emotional game style making her unpredictable and hard to align with. Houseguests do shout-outs for each other's families as a mark of loyalty, but the etiquette becomes murky when alliances shift or break down. Barrett's entertaining Diary Room vote routine sparks mixed reactions, with Eric Stein noting the risk in sticking to a bit without real-time feedback. The creative process behind competitions like the wall comp with the Sasquatch theme gets a playful breakdown, poking fun at production's brainstorming. As alliances continue to break down and emotional gameplay takes center stage, the question remains: Will the current power structure survive another week of blindsides and shifting loyalties? This Summer during Sunday Service we are offering space to reimagine and apply the key components of life and ministry within a framework of Christian Community Development. These Sunday gatherings will offer space for worship, conversation, insight and practical skills for engaging in the renewal of all things. This Sunday we will be leaning into the key component of embodying a prophetic presence. As CCD practitioners we often find it necessary to raise awareness and raise our voices for reform or systemic change. We are called to dismantle lies, greed, broken structures, and unjust laws. It is time to intentionally practice prophetic presence as CCD practitioners. But what does it mean to be a prophetic presence in your community? In the broadest sense, prophetic presence is publicly standing up to harmful policies or practices that damage an individual or group's human dignity and quality of life. Being a prophetic presence signals to others that you are not only calling out an injustice, but are committed to taking the necessary actions to see that change takes place. For CCD, prophetic presence responds to the age-old question, “Am I my brother's keeper?” God shows considerable concern for breaking the strongholds of injustice and false frameworks that operate in this world by correcting, redeeming, and restoring all that has been lost, broken, distorted, or unfairly gained.Visit CCDA.org to become a member and take the full immerse course.

These Sunday gatherings will offer space for worship, conversation, insight, and practical skills for engaging in the renewal of all things. This Sunday, we will be leaning into the key component of Leadership Development. For CCD, the goal of leadership development has historically been to embolden and develop local leaders where CCD practitioners are present and working with residents to build a thriving community. Our role as CCD practitioners is to create a safe space for people to be inspired, reach their full potential, and recognize their God-given purposes. The point is to identify and encourage existing leaders. We must also find potential leaders who might need guidance or resources to build their capacity and confidence. CCD emphasizes the importance of building into budding leaders, especially youth. Leadership development in CCD is not about a hierarchy of power. It is not about title, position, or credit. It is about building up those around us and letting others build into us as we all seek to become who God created us to be. Developing leaders and being developed as a leader are not short-term programs, but built on long-term mutual relationships.

This Summer is off to a beautiful start and is full of connection, growth and activation at Studio. We are calling this our “Summer of Kindness”! On Sunday we did part 3 of this series with our panel talk on “Sharing Jesus.” We had a great time exploring what this looks like in our lives and in our world today. We kicked things off by talking about evangelism—what it is, why it matters, and how it's a central part of following Jesus. In Mark 16:15, Jesus tells us to “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” These were some of His final words to his disciples and we carry this commission to GO.Our goal was to put flesh on some of these big words, to know the power of the gospel (good news), and to get God's heart for humanity. We talk through things like:What does sharing the gospel look like in everyday life? Why is it sometimes hard to do?How do we know when to talk to someone, and what do we even say? What is the role of love in reaching humanity? As we aim our heart and attention toward people, it's important to be aware of who is in front of us. Do we know who we're talking to—whether someone knows Jesus, has church hurt, or is just figuring things out. Especially in the South, where there are churches on almost every corner, it's easy to assume where people are coming from. Walking in the awareness of God's love often looks like slowing down, listening, and being present.Billy Graham said it best:“It's the Holy Spirit's job to convict, God's job to judge, and my job to love.”At the end of the day, we're all called to share the hope we've found in Jesus—it doesn't require us to know everything, but is powerful when we are moved by love. Let your light shine (Matthew 5:16), give what you've got, and trust that God will use it.Let's continue to grow and mature in love, and get good at sharing it with those around us!For more info, you can go to our website, check us out on Instagram, Facebook, or YouTube. The desperate need today is not for a greater number of intelligent people, or gifted people, but for deep people.”This series will provide guides to grow deeper with God in the ordinariness of our lives in connection with the Immerse Series during Sunday Service where are offer space to reimagine and apply the key components of life and ministry within a framework of Christian Community Development. As we paying attention to the movements of God in the ordinariness of our lives, the more and more we are able to recognize God's movements in all things. When you're a person of faith—someone who honored your vows before God—going through a divorce can shake you to your core. It's not just the loss of a marriage; it's the lingering question many struggle with silently: “Does God hate me because I'm divorced?”Scripture has often been misquoted or misinterpreted in ways that leave people feeling condemned, ashamed, and distanced from God—especially in Christian communities that emphasize marriage as the ultimate goal.In today's episode, I'm joined by Dr. Dharius Daniels for a real, grounded conversation about what the Bible actually says about divorce—and what it doesn't. We explore how scripture is often interpreted in ways that leave people feeling condemned, how to embrace God's forgiveness and release the weight of guilt, why singleness is not a punishment but a purposeful season, and how to trust God with what's still possible—even after divorce.Follow Dr. Dharius Daniels on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/dhariusdanielsFollow Dr. Daniels on Facebook:  https://www.facebook.com/dharius.danielsDr. Daniels Website: https://dhariusdaniels.com/To learn more about Change Church: https://www.lifechange.org/**INTERESTED IN WORKING WITH ME 1:1 THIS SUMMER? This Summer, soft-launches a new first-of-its-kind family-friendly festival described by founder Julia Leviton as “Think Sundance meets Coachella” here in Utah. The “Eden Festival” has the lofty goal of uniting film, music, immersive technology, and gaming in a three-day event in 2025, and then a 10-day festival in 2026.  Fan Effect guest host, KSL NewsRadio's Heather Kelly, sat down with Leviton to discuss the ins and outs of birthing such an event and the growth they expect to see in the upcoming years. The festivals will feature concerts, workshops, and immersive experiences with various artists and in various venues. The three-day festival’s “micro-launch” starts on June 10 at the Tracy Aviary in Liberty Park — and it’s already sold out. The second concert at the aviary will take place on June 12, with a third concert scheduled for later this summer at Thanksgiving Point. Visit EdenArtsFestival.com to learn more about this ongoing festival project.  The brains behind Fan Effect are connoisseurs of categories surpassing nerdy with a goal to publish a weekly "What to Watch on the Weekend" minisode taken from KSL-TV's Friday segment, and two deep-dives a month on shows, creative works, artists, local events, and other fandom topics.  Based in the beautiful beehive state, Fan Effect celebrates Utah's unique fan culture as it has been declared The Nerdiest State in America by TIME, and is hosted by KSL Movie Show's Andy Farnsworth and KSL Podcasts' KellieAnn Halvorsen.  Listen regularly on your favorite platform, at kslnewsradio.com, or on the KSLNewsRadio App. Join the conversation on Facebook @FanEffectShow, or Instagram @FanEffectShow.
