After Eight Show - Music That You Just Don't Hear Anywhere Else!
We had an abundance of #NewMusic in our playlist! An eclectic mix of original, intelligent, melodic, grown-up songs - #electronic, #rnb, #jazz, #blues and #acoustic. And mostly from artists who you have not heard of - yet! Think 'next series of Jools' - that's the kind of artists that we play. Amongst our selections, there was #NewMusic from Lemolo, Mick Flannery + SON, Leif Erikson, C'est Karma, Perera Elsewhere, Carla dal Forno, Mute Forest, FLOW, Milan Ring, Meshell Ndegeocello + Justin Hicks + Kenita Miller, Moonchild, Yellow Belly, 9Bach, Simphiwe Dana, Gwenifer Raymond, Thomasina Levy, Into The Fray, Yumi Zouma and Micko Roche + Jessie Roche. Our Luvva Cover feature this week was a slowed down version of one of Cher's biggest dance tune hits. Norwegian-born Okay Kaya, now based in New York, squeezes every ounce of meaning from a lovely lyric which does not come across in the same way in Cher's original. Give it a listen! Previous works have been by Mark Wallinger and Phyllida Barlow, and many will remember Martin Creed's athlete running through the galleries every 30 seconds. This year there's a return to that element of live performance as Bronstein has incorporated a continuous live dance performance in his work; Historical Dances in an Antique Setting. He explains why.Presenter Kirsty Lang Producer Elaine Lester.

Lo que he mostrado hasta ahora es un collage de imagenes de mi infancia en Puerto Rico. El flamboyan es un árbol típico de allí, nada que ver con la palabra inglesa.
