Pastry chef Simba Choto tried to go out on his own, baking to order from home, before Covid. 2019 was a tough year, but it finished on a high note with a summer season baking at a resort in Bazaruto. He came back from that gig and was plunged into lockdown. Interestingly enough, that's when his business actually took off - with the help of social media, and a community of fans of his baked goods and granola. Learn how you too can contribute towards the preservation of the world's oceans by taking part in the Oceans Without Borders Marine Predator Tagging Expedition.
EPISODE 42 – PARADISE ISLAND – Mud Between Your Toes. I chat about the now abandoned Santa Carolina island off the coast of Mozambique. In the 1960s and early 70s this idyllic island was host to the rich, the famous, hippies, adventurers and a few farmers!Photo: The old man and the sea.
Kirsten Sanchez from Carnival joined Zee Michaelson in her studio for a fun time of talking about cruising. Zee tried to temp Jay Lawrence to go to one of the 5 top beaches around the world. Jay wanted a beach in the United States. Kirsten sent Zee a recipe of the best cake you will ever want to taste. The recipe is on Zee's Blog
