Carlton and Firgas focus particularly on the innovative Talitrix LLC wrist-worn electronic monitoring systems already in use in the United States. These systems differ significantly from traditional ankle tags by offering real-time GPS tracking, two-way communication, biometric verification, and advanced geofencing capabilities. This means that for the first time, courts, police, and victims themselves could be instantly alerted if a perpetrator breaches a restraining or non-molestation order — potentially preventing violence before it happens.
