The world is in a lot of chaos right now due to fear caused by everything from war to natural disasters. This chaos affects the energy in the world which, in turn, impacts each and every one of us. Knowing that we are in the midst of upheaval that is leading us to peace, harmony and unity can help us through this difficult transition. We even have sayings for it, like: The darkest hour is just before the dawn or The dark night of the soul. When we get through the darkness, there is always light and after the rain, there are rainbows. The peace that is coming starts with us. As we are able to create peace within ourselves, regardless of what is going on around us, we become part of the solution. We help to change the energy of everyone we come in contact with, spreading peace and bringing us to a time of world peace with more speed and ease. Please join us Thursday when Betsy Otter Thompson will share her wisdom on how to find comfort in a world where uncomfortable things happen.
Which of the following questions have you asked yourself at one time or another? Why am I here? What is the meaning of life? Am I doing what I came here to do? Where was I before I got here and where will I be when I leave? Are we alone in the cosmos? If we aren’t alone, is our universe similar to other universes? Do any of them have human beings and, if they do, are they more evolved than we are or less evolved then we are? Will we ever meet face-to-face? Love Human is an attempt to answer these questions and many more. Keep an open mind. Be willing to look at preconceived notions from a slightly different angle. When you shift your perceptions, you find new ways of seeing the past; and new ways of seeing the past brings resolution to old and painful heartache. As new perceptions bring healing into the present, they created new feelings. New feelings encourage new actions, and new actions create new results. This is the gift of Love Human; guidance regarding how to find comfort in a world where uncomfortable things happen. Perhaps the peace we seek is only possible on a large scale if we find it on a small scale; one person at a time finding resolutions they hope that others will find.

Host Adrianna Larkin is joined by author Betsy Otter Thompson, creator of "Walking Through Illusion", a ground breaking collection of short stories that offer a critical message that we don't take our beliefs with us when we cease to live, but only the love found from having them. Set amidst a backdrop of conversations with Jesus and the relationships with whom he interacted even before "Christianity" had been established as a religion, the book offers a new way of interpreting the message and meaning of life.
Join me as I talk to Betsy Otter Thompson and her new book Walking Through Illusion... This will be a fantastic show make sure to tune in and call in with any questions you may have for us WALKING THROUGH ILLUSION – Jesus speaks of the People who shared his Journey – features a series of stories about biblical people who either knew Jesus or knew of him, and were influenced by him in one way or another. It is not a book about Christianity; it is about people who lived long before Christianity began. The book makes no attempt to preach religion; the author believes that we don't take our beliefs with us when we leave here; we take the love we found from having them. The stories are less about the picture these people might have lived and more about the emotions they might have experienced. Each chapter focuses on the growth of a particular person and each chapter is complete within itself with a specific theme. The end of each chapter has a worksheet with questions designed to bring the ideas from the book into the reader's everyday life in a meaning way. There is also a page at the end of each chapter, where the author shares how that chapter's theme impacted her life. In addition to Walking Through Illusion (published by O-Books, an imprint of John Hunt Publishing Ltd), Betsy Otter Thompson is the author of The Mirror Theory (published by Hampton Roads Publishing) and 4 self-published books through her own company, Ascension Publishing.
One of the most important aspects of personal responsibility is that which we take by exploring our emotional reactions and responses. And one of the most important aspects of that exploration is confronting our emotional illusions. Betsy Otter Thompson, author of several other books, has written an emotional biography in which she challenges herself and her readers to consider various aspects of personal illusion. This experiential workbook, called “Walking Through Illusion” uses characters from Jesus' life to demonstrate that walk and then offers specific exercises to challenge the reader. Today we'll be talking about that book as it relates to your personal journey, your own emotional biography. For, as she tells us, we don't take our beliefs (which could be our illusions) with us, just the love we found within them. You don't want to miss this opportunity to increase your personal awareness.
