Hey Family Brand! It's Melissa here, and today I'm thrilled to introduce you to someone whose work is all about personal mastery and lasting transformation—Joey Klein. Joey is a transformation expert, author, and founder of Inner Matrix Systems. He's helped over 84,000 people across the globe—from Fortune 500 executives to everyday families—create real results by mastering their emotions, nervous system, and mindset. In this episode, Joey and I go deep on why the inner game matters most, how to change your reality from the inside out, and what it really takes to live the life you were meant for. Joey shares how his own journey of inner healing started from a place of pain and a desire for peace. What began as a personal quest quickly turned into a career helping others find clarity, freedom, and fulfillment. He takes us through the process of uncovering our emotional “blind spots” and explains how behaviors, even addictions or stuck patterns, are often tied to emotional pain that hasn't been addressed or even recognized. One of the most powerful parts of our conversation was Joey's 4-step transformation framework: 1) Identify what to stop doing, 2) Start something new, 3) Get comfortable being uncomfortable, and 4) Prioritize vision over fear. It's a simple but profound system that can be applied to everything—from relationships and parenting to career and health. We talk about how this framework transformed a client's relationship with her daughter, and how small shifts can lead to big breakthroughs. We also explore the difference between meditation and what Joey calls “inner training.” While the idea of meditation has become more mainstream, Joey believes the real transformation happens when we train our inner world the way we train our bodies. It's about intentional reps, nervous system awareness, and shifting how we feel—not just what we think. Joey's new book, Relationship Alchemy: A Practical Guide to Getting Along Well With Others, launches April 1st and is packed with real-life tools for creating vibrant, connected relationships in every area of life.

Please join us for this transmission and meditation which cleanses the doors of our perception and allow us to accelerate our evolutionary direction and path to being one with the Divine.  The blocks to the Divine is mainly cause by not taking full responsibility for all that we are experiencing, perceiving, and judging.  When we reclaim these capacities we inherently begin to change the direction and trajectory of our lives.  When we acknowledge that everything that we are experiencing is coming from our judgements and perceptions, we can then cleanse and release those judgements and allow Divinity to flow through. In this transmission, we ask the Divine, Our Guides and Healing Team In the Inner World, the Arcturians, and Our Higher Self; to cleanse the doors of perception and our conscious decision to see experiences as outside of our minds.  We ask in this transmission to take 100% responsibility for all that we are experiencing.  By doing this we rejoice in reclaiming our power and capacity to change and influence our world.  Responsibility does not mean blame for our perceptions and experiences but a whole hearted acceptance of all that is coming into our lives.

Zach and Annie dive deep into the art of transition, emotional pacing, and connection in long-term relationships. With their signature mix of warmth, honesty, and thoughtful reflection, they explore how couples can move from emotional distance to reconnection—without overwhelming each other. The episode kicks off with banter about TikToks and volleyball, then shifts into the heart of the matter: how relationships evolve when we learn to slow down, name what's happening inside us, and give our nervous systems time to catch up. Annie introduces the concept of “titration”—a gentle, incremental approach to change—and explains how it can transform conflict, emotional intimacy, and even personal growth in marriage. They also unpack the meaning behind defensiveness, offer powerful metaphors like “two stump spouses” and “learning how to swim before diving into the deep end,” and share a profound story from Annie's own marriage about grief, rage, and radical honesty.  Key Takeaways Titration: A Slow Path to Growth Just like IV fluid must enter the body slowly to avoid harm, emotional intimacy must also be introduced gently. In marriage, rushing change can overwhelm both partners. Learning to pace growth allows real connection to develop. Defensiveness Is a Signal, Not a Flaw Annie reframes defensiveness as the body's way of saying, “Something in me needs defending.” This awareness transforms conflict into curiosity: What part of me (or my partner) is trying to stay safe right now? Marriage as a Long Game Cultural myths tell us that getting married is the destination. But marriage is actually the beginning of a lifelong practice. Zach poses the question: When does the future start? The answer? Now. The “Two Stumps” Metaphor Annie shares a client story: two spouses, emotionally worn down, feel like “stumps.” But even a stump can grow a new tree—if both people are willing to name where they are and choose to rebuild. Narrating the Inner World to Bridge Emotional Distance Instead of acting from emotion, Annie shares the power of narrating your internal dialogue to a partner. Her story of grief and rage during her father's passing—and how naming it created immediate connection with her husband—is a masterclass in vulnerability. Learn more about your ad choices. Raising a Spiritual Child: Why Their Inner World Matters More Than Ever (Part 1) In today's episode of Redefine Parenting, we're diving into a powerful and often overlooked topic—raising a spiritual child. As parents, we focus so much on academics, behavior, and achievements… but what about their inner world? What about their connection to self, purpose, and something greater? I believe every child is born with a spiritual spark—and it's our job to nurture it. This isn't about religion—it's about helping our kids grow into grounded, emotionally aware, and spiritually connected human beings. When we teach our children to trust their inner voice, to lead with compassion, and to find peace in a chaotic world—we're giving them tools that last a lifetime. In this first part of our series, I'll share stories, mindset shifts, and practical ways you can start raising a mindful, self-aware, and heart-centered child—no matter where you are on your own journey. ✨ Let's raise children who don't just survive… but truly thrive from the inside out.

The wisdom wing is all the nuts and bolts of Buddha's teachings, the four noble truths (what is suffering, it's causes, that you can get rid of it, and how to do the job). Buddha is the same as a scientist, in that belief is the starting point but you've got to prove it, make it your own experience. Karma and ethics, we create ourselves moment by moment, you are the main cause of you. The vast majority of all humans on this planet have absolutely no idea that what goes on in their mind plays any role at all in their lives. Every thought produces the person I become. The first level of practice is to control the servants of the mind - the body and the speech, because every negative action (an action that harms another) - it will harm you! Ignorance, attachment and anger, the three poisons. If you want to help others, practice compassion; if you want to help yourself, practice compassion. When you're with others, watch your body and speech; when you're on your own, watch your mind. Questions include - the Dalai Lama's album - Inner World, working with death row prisoners, understanding karma, activism and Buddhism, Nelson Mandela, psychedelic therapy, people who don't want to help themselves, books on Buddhism, practising to improve samsaric existence, do wisdom and compassion grow together, eating meat, karma and ignorance, and daily practice. In this first episode of Parsha, Parts, and Polyvagal, we explore Parshas Vayeshev and Yosef HaTzaddik's journey—where even in his darkest moment, Hashem's kindness showed up in the smallest detail. Yosef couldn't control being sold to the Yishmaelim, yet the pasuk tells us something striking: the caravan carried fragrant spices instead of the usual foul-smelling cargo. A seemingly small kindness, but one that teaches us how Hashem's chesed exists, down to the smallest glimmers, even in moments of great difficulty. From a nervous system perspective, this invites us to reflect: What happens when we learn to notice the glimmers—the small moments of safety, connection, and goodness—even in the aftermath of our own challenges? In this episode, I share: A Torah insight on Hashem's kindness in Yosef's story How we can connect this to our nervous system's need for safety and regulation A guided mindfulness practice to help you find glimmers in your own life We don't erase or deny the hard things we've been through. Instead, we allow space for them and notice where Hashem's kindness—however small—showed up, helping our nervous system begin to settle and come home. Wishing you a beautiful Shabbos.

We will learn: Why money acts as one of our greatest spiritual teachers, if we're willing to listen How to decode the messages in your financial patterns and transform them from the inside out The surprising truth about wealth that has nothing to do with how much money you have What if your relationship with money was trying to teach you something deeper about yourself? What if every financial pattern – from overspending to under-earning, from hoarding to impulse-splurging – was actually a mirror, reflecting back your deepest beliefs and fears? This pattern isn't just about money – it shows up everywhere. Maybe you keep attracting the same types of toxic relationships. Maybe you sabotage opportunities right when things start going well. Maybe you can't let yourself enjoy success without waiting for the other shoe to drop. These patterns are trying to show us something about ourselves, if we're brave enough to look. Think about it: We've all met people who make six figures but live in constant scarcity. People who achieve their financial goals but still feel empty. People who keep making more money but never feel secure. Meanwhile, there are others who seem to radiate abundance with far less in their bank accounts. What's the difference? Our guest today is Elizabeth Husserl, a financial adviser who brings a refreshingly holistic approach to wealth. She's the author of a groundbreaking book that explores the psychology of money and teaches us how to transform our relationship with abundance from the inside out.
