In this episode, Branchy and Delby are joined by Cam Watkins to explore how emotional stress and past trauma can manifest as physical pain within the body. Together they dive into the art of conscious movement, the science of breathwork for nervous system regulation, and the healing power of authenticity. This conversation reminds us that the body speaks what the mind suppresses — and when we move and breathe with awareness, we open the door to true healing and self-connection.PATREON Support The Hard Yarns and get access to exclusive drops, content, live shows and promo codes : www.patreon.com/thehardyarnspodcast FIND US Email: info@thehardyarns.com Instagram: @thehardyarnspodcast TikTok: @thehardyarnspodcast Web: https://www.thehardyarns.com SPONSORS All Trades Cover - https://www.alltradescover.com.au Crafted Finance - https://www.craftedfinance.com.auHard Yarns is Produced by B32media #hardyarns #podcast #comedy.
Hafe you ever felt like you're living as more than one version of yourself? In this episdoe, Chris Hansen uses the metaphor of a kaleidoscope to explore, self-perception, and the emotional tension that comes from being seen - and misseen - in different ways. Just like one pattern inside a kaleidoscope can create many different reflections, we each show up in four version: who we truly are, who we think we are, who others believe we are, and who we think others think we are. When these reflections don't align, we experience self-doubt, insecurity, and emotional exhaustion - the mental tug-of-war that keeps us stuck. But real peace doesn't come from chaning ourselves to match every reflection. It comes from grounding ourselves in our true identity and allowing the other versions to align around it.
Dr. Renee M. Scott, author of How Can They Hear Without a Preacher: Intersectionality of Gender, Sexuality, and Faith, shares her journey of reconciling her Christian faith with her LGBTQ+ identity. After decades in higher education as a college president and VP of Student Success, Renee returned to the classroom to teach the next generation of leaders. In this episode, she discusses the evolving landscape of higher education, the importance of social and emotional skills, and how young people navigate work-life balance in a hyperconnected world. Renee opens up about her personal story of realizing her sexuality while maintaining a meaningful relationship with God, exploring the tension between church teachings and her authentic self. She discusses the challenges of coming out, ending a marriage, and facing societal judgment, while emphasizing that faith and authenticity can coexist. Through her book and her experiences, she highlights lessons in empathy, leadership, and personal growth, encouraging listeners to live authentically and take small, deliberate steps toward a fulfilling life. Renee also offers actionable advice, including reflecting daily on wisdom from the book of Proverbs to build character, resilience, and meaningful relationships. This episode is a deep, honest conversation about identity, faith, leadership, and living true to yourself. Quotes: “90% of what we worry about never happens. The other 10% is never as bad as we imagine.” “God knew me before I was even formed in the womb; understanding that changed how I live my faith and my truth.” “Leadership is everywhere. You don't have to be a VP to lead; you can lead through example and empowerment.” “Be true to yourself, no matter the consequences; authenticity is the path to real happiness.” Resources: Connect with Dr. Renee M Scott on LinkedIn How Can They Hear Without a Preacher: Intersectionality of Gender, Sexuality, and Faith on Amazon

On this episode of Healthy Mind, Healthy Life, host Avik Chakraborty speaks with Catherine Crestani—intuitive healer, leadership coach, podcaster, and author of Pillars for Life. Catherine shares how walking away from two six-figure businesses led to a deeper definition of success rooted in peace, integrity, and self-leadership. We unpack spiritual ethics in real life (discernment, boundaries, responsibility), the cost of misalignment (burnout, anxiety, insomnia), and how to rebuild a career and family life around authentic values. We also explore the growing bridge between spirituality and science, practical ways to listen to your body's wisdom, and the everyday courage required to change—even when it threatens income, relationships, or reputation. Clear, grounded, and immediately useful for leaders, coaches, healers, and high achievers seeking sustainable, values-aligned success. About the guest : Catherine Crestani is an intuitive healer, leadership coach, international speaker, and host of the Willow Healing Matters podcast. Author of Pillars for Life: A Guide to Spiritual Ethics and Practice for Lightworkers, Healers, Psychics, Mediums, Shamans, Energy Workers, and All Souls Called to Shine Their Light, Catherine blends energy medicine with practical leadership tools to help people reclaim their voice, worth, and authentic path. Key takeaways: Alignment beats achievement: Traditional markers (title, revenue, status) won't feel like success if your work conflicts with your values. Your body tells the truth: Recurring symptoms (fatigue, anxiety, numbness) can signal misalignment—slow down, listen, adjust. Discernment is ethical practice: Take what resonates, leave the rest; real guides encourage independence, not dependence. Two kinds of courage: Accidental (forced by crisis) and intentional (chosen). Practice small, brave actions daily to build the muscle. Choose yourself, then receive: When Catherine set a clear exit date, unexpected opportunities appeared—ask, allow, receive. Spiritual ethics are daily habits: Honesty, boundaries, responsibility, and transparency in business, family, and client work. Simple practices win: Short, consistent meditation and basic tools (muscle testing, heart check-ins) can be more effective than lengthy rituals. Head last, heart first: Lead with heart wisdom, confirm with gut safety, then consult the mind for execution. Red flags in “guru culture”: If a practitioner resists questions or creates dependency, walk away. Success redefined: Peace becomes the metric; work, family, and health align around it. This week's message is from Luke 12:1-12. In this week's passage, Jesus teaches us that God sees all, values us deeply, and empowers us by His Spirit. Because of this: we can live with authenticity, fear Him above all, and boldly confess Christ.
Nowadays it seems like everyone wants to be “successful”—but how many of us actually feel it? We may know that true success is found in following the One who made us. And yet, in our increasingly polarized and comparison-rife world, many of us find our hearts yearning for an ever-elusive kind of success: in money, power, influence, or accolades. My guest on this week’s episode of The Love Offering Podcast, Pete Portal, helps us reframe our understanding of what it means to flourish. In his new book, How to Be (Un)Successful: An Unlikely Guide to Human Flourishing, Pete invites us to consider that success is not about what we have—but about how we live. This conversation is an opportunity to redefine success, choosing:* Love over efficiency* Depth over volume* Real friendship over cold transactions Jesus’ life and teaching are the perfect antidote for a world sick with the wrong sort of success. And He invites us again to experience a success that truly satisfies our souls. I pray this episode encourages you to live a life of flourishing, right where you are. What does it take to heal beyond the pills, the quick fixes, and the 15-minute doctor visits? For today's episode of The Ripple Effect Podcast, we have Cristi Cuellar, also known as “Austin's Holistic Physical Therapist,” who has spent the last 18 years transforming lives through her approach to healing. With a passion for alternative pain management, she champions conscious exercise and an anti-inflammatory lifestyle, emphasizing personalized, one-on-one care that addresses the root causes of pain. In 2016, Cristi enhanced her expertise by becoming certified in dry needling, inspired by its rapid benefits in her own journey—from a high school athlete who tore her Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), to becoming a physical therapist, and ultimately launching C&C Dry Needling, her own wellness clinic in South Lamar. We talk about what makes her approach so unique, which is the 5R wellness method that helps patients reset their nervous system, repair soft tissue, and truly reclaim their health. She takes pride in listening to her patients' complete stories, creating a holistic pathway to optimal health and empowerment. Cristi has a Bachelor's of Health and Science Degree from Baylor University and a Master of Physical Therapy Degree from Texas State University. As a licensed Physical Therapist, she has various continuing education certifications in Dry Needling, Exercise Correction, Reformer Pilates, Manual Therapy, YogaFit, Qigong, and Kinesiotaping techniques. She has also been part of the CHEK (Corrective Holistic Exercise Kinesiology) Institute as a Holistic Lifestyle Coach for over 6 years. She is an advocate for functional medicine, emotional intelligence, and spiritual growth, and a fan of Dr. Mark Hyman, Andrew Huberman, Dr. Stacy Sims, Dr. Joe Dispenza, and Brene Brown. If you've ever wondered how mind-body healing really works, or why traditional physical therapy sometimes misses the bigger picture, you're going to love hearing Cristi's perspective on holistic injury recovery, patient empowerment, and creating balance in life. We're Julietta and Graciela, and we're sooooo excited to invite you into our Cacao Conversations—your weekly dose of heart-opening chats, all served with a warm cup of cacao. You'll feel like one of the family during this podcast where we speak frankly, and humorously, about some of life's big questions. We share wisdom we've picked up along the way and wonder out loud about lots of life's mysteries. Whether we're diving deep into transformation, laughing at life's quirks, or simply talking about the weather (which is, like, a much bigger deal at this age, isn't it?!?), you get a front row seat to our sometimes crazy, mostly spiritual and always authentic lives. From sweat lodge ceremonies to sweaty teen socks, we cover it all. So, grab your favorite mug, fill it with cacao and join us for some profound laughter. Cacao Conversations is about empowering you to remember who you are and step into the life that feels authentically yours. How do you prioritize yourself without guilt? We've been conditioned to believe that putting ourselves first is selfish—but the truth is, it's one of the most radical and loving things you can do for yourself and everyone around you. In this empowering episode, we're talking about how to prioritize your needs, desires, and dreams without that heavy weight of guilt. We'll share our own journeys of learning to say no (without apologizing), creating space for rest and joy, and choosing ourselves even when it feels uncomfortable. We explore how self-prioritization actually strengthens your relationships, your work, and your connection to your purpose. If you've ever felt torn between showing up for everyone else and honoring yourself, this conversation will feel like a permission slip to choose you—and to do it unapologetically. So pour your cacao, take a deep breath, and let's talk about how to reclaim your time, energy, and power—together. Your cup is ready. Your journey is waiting. Let's sip, chat, and transform—together. We talk about how to create or choose a mantra that resonates deeply with your soul, how to weave it into your daily practices, and why these small, powerful phrases can be life-changing tools for resilience and self-compassion. If you've been needing a little soul medicine to help you navigate life's twists and turns, this conversation is your invitation to breathe, soften, and remember your power. Our one true purpose in this lifetime is to become who we have always been. To become the most authentic version, the version of us that was taught to bury herself deep underneath the mask and identity used to keep us safe. Eventually, the mask and fake identity become too heavy to hold, so we must put them down and unravel all that is not aligned with our truth. In the latest episode of the Hippie Moms podcast, my Soul Sister, Angela Ferrari, joins us to walk this path home to ourselves, our authentic selves. In her new book, The Edge of God, she helps us discover what lies beneath all the things that keep us from living a peaceful, ease-full, and freedom-filled life! Angela beautifully shares with us why many of us feel exhausted by life, and how we can connect with our inner compass that guides and infuses us with the life force we seek. This path is not for the meek. It takes courage to swim upstream and live life in a way that is in alignment with our hearts, rather than being sucked in by a superficial and fleeting world. If you are ready to walk the path home to yourself, listen to this conversation, as it will deepen your understanding and remind you of the knowing that you are exactly here and now, perfect. There is nothing you are lacking and nothing more you need to be. So you get to rest in you. John's easy-going style and copious amounts of knowledge and insight always make these conversations some of our favorites and its no different on today's episode of The Culture Matters Podcast.

When's the last time you touched grass… before your phone? No really. Imagine waking up, resisting the urge to scroll, walking outside barefoot, and just… grounding. That's what today's episode is all about — unplugging from the madness and plugging into what's real. And man, this convo hit different. In this episode of The Happy Hustle Podcast, I sat down with Ryan Levesque, a 7-time Inc. 5000 CEO, 2-time #1 National Bestselling Author, and legit one of the smartest (and realest) entrepreneurs I know. He's the guy behind the wildly successful Ask Method — but lately, he's been asking deeper questions.Like…What if success isn't just scaling tech, but scaling truth? What if the best things in life can't be optimized or outsourced? What if real wealth is measured in moments, not metrics?Ryan's on a mission to live a radically real life. He left the digital rat race for a self-sustaining lifestyle — think chickens, crops, faith, and family. And in this convo, we explore his framework called “The Return to Real” — a philosophy (and lifestyle) that'll get you rethinking your entire hustle. We jammed on everything from purpose-driven business to farming wisdom to why technology is no longer a moat. Spoiler alert: In a world where anyone can clone your product, the unscalable stuff is your secret weapon. Love. Integrity. Presence. A handwritten note. A meaningful convo. A hug from your little one. THAT'S the new currency. Here are a few gems from this episode you won't wanna miss:Ryan's daily practice to instantly ground your energy and clear your mind — no apps requiredWhy the real flex in business is doing things that don't scale (and why your competition won't do it)The communication skill that'll set you apart in a noisy, AI-run worldHow to recalibrate when you feel out of sync — personally or professionallyWhy following your heart isn't fluffy — it's your most strategic moveThis convo is raw, soulful, and super practical. It's not about quitting business and buying a farm (unless that's your vibe) — it's about remembering who you are underneath the noise. Slowing down enough to ask better questions. And choosing depth over distraction, every dang time.So if you're craving more meaning, more alignment, and a business that feels good to run, hit play on this one. It might just change how you show up tomorrowIn this episode, we cover:Sustainable Living and Farming JourneyThe Return to Real: A Movement Towards AuthenticityPractical Applications of the Return to RealOptimizing for Oxytocin in BusinessThe Importance of Unscalable ExperiencesThe Importance of Communication Skills in the Digital AgeEmbracing Unconventional Wisdom for Business SuccessFollowing Your Heart's Contrarian VoiceNavigating Life's Windows of OpportunityThe Journey to Authentic LivingRapid Fire Insights and Personal ReflectionsWhat does happy Hustlin mean to you?
