Hard News on Friday with Tara Green and Rama Arjuna and guests Lion's Gate, New Energy, and the Call for Peace on Earth Rainbird, Tara, and Rama open Hard News on Friday with sacred-fire meditation, Mayan-calendar guidance, Lion's Gate energies, donation support, current-event commentary, Kryon and Mother Sekhmet readings, NESARA hopes, planetary transformation, and a closing Era of Peace message about abundance, ascension, and humanity's awakening. Sacred Fire, Galactic Directions, and the Opening Field This episode of Hard News on Friday, broadcast on August 7, 2026, opens with Rainbird setting a meditative and ceremonial tone. The corrected transcript identifies Rainbird as leading the sacred-fire meditation, Mayan-calendar and galactic-direction segment, weekly energy overview, housekeeping, donation instructions, and the passing of the talking stick, while Tara and Rama respond and continue the episode's spiritual and current-events commentary. Rainbird invites listeners to breathe into the heart space, gather with guides, ancestors, spirit teams, and healing teams, and form a virtual circle around a council fire before calling in the seven galactic directions in the Mayan tradition. Mayan Calendar Energies and the 8/8 Lion's Gate Rainbird then moves into the Mayan-calendar reading for the day and week ahead, beginning with 7 Imix, the red resonant dragon and a portal day. The segment emphasizes creation, nurture, birth, trust in the universe, clarity of mind, and releasing any illusion of lack of support. Rainbird then looks ahead to the Lion's Gate portal, describing the next day as an 8/8 energy point connected to co-creation, unity with spirit, truth, dreamtime, abundance, protection, timing, transformation, forgiveness, and healing. The weekly overview also highlights a coming eclipse, new moon energy, and the sense that the week is filled with unusual energetic alignment. Housekeeping, Donations, and Listener-Supported Radio The program includes an extended housekeeping section in which Rainbird explains that Hard News on Friday is listener-supported and gives donation instructions. Rainbird says the program needs weekly support for BBS Radio, as well as help for bills, basics, and cat litter for Tara and Rama. The donation segment includes directions for finding the show on BBSRadio.com, making donations through the show listing, contributing through PayPal, sending checks or money orders, and visiting RainbowRoundtable.net for more information about NESARA and related resources. Rainbird frames these requests with gratitude and invites listeners to give from the heart. Tara and Rama on Lion's Gate, Peace, and Current Events Tara and Rama receive the talking stick and respond to the 8/8 Lion's Gate energy, describing the moment as a tremendous time of transformation, inclusion, and planetary change. Their commentary moves through spiritual themes, current events, earth changes, solar flares, volcanic activity, diversity and inclusion, public figures, peace, and the expectation that NESARA is near. They emphasize that peace must come first and repeatedly encourage listeners to send love, good vibrations, and higher energy into difficult situations rather than feeding vengeance or violence. Kryon Reading: New Energy, Dimensional Shift, and Cellular Communication Rama introduces and reads or channels a Kryon message about cellular communication, consciousness, dimensionality, and the “new energy.” The reading says humanity has moved through a long shift from an older, lower-consciousness planetary cycle toward a new dimensional field. It frames enhanced intuition, synchronicity, and the ability to “read the field” as signs of higher consciousness becoming more accessible. The Kryon message also teaches that the human body and DNA have multidimensional aspects, and that people may now be able to communicate with their cellular structure more clearly as the planet moves into this new energetic landscape. Mother Sekhmet Message: Ascension, Fire, and Planetary Peace The episode then shifts into a Mother Sekhmet channeled message centered on Lion's Gate, the new moon, ascension, peace, and planetary energies. The message says vengeance is not the answer and urges humanity to sit down and talk about peace. It connects NESARA with divine governance and a system intended to benefit all living beings, including animals, plants, minerals, and humanity. The message also speaks of violet fire, emerald green ray, sapphire blue ray, platinum ray, volcanic activity, Kilauea, the Pacific Rim of Fire, Mother Gaia's ascension, cellular transfiguration, bliss, love, and the idea that people are not going crazy but being resurrected into higher energy. Era of Peace Reading and the Fifth-Dimensional Lion's Gate Later, Rama reads an Era of Peace-style message about the fifth-dimensional Lion's Gate and the intensified energies of August 8. The reading says humanity, the elemental kingdom, and Mother Earth are being prepared at atomic and subatomic levels to receive higher frequencies of light, including what it calls God's infinite abundance. It describes the Lion's Gate as guarded by two lions representing yesterday and tomorrow, and says passing through the portal is a movement beyond control from the past or future into the eternal now. The message presents 2026 as a year of major shifts, with more people able to rise above outer chaos and hear intuitive guidance from the I AM presence. Abundance, Awakening, and Closing Gratitude The final reading focuses on divine abundance, financial freedom, and a free Era of Peace e-book titled It Is Time for You to Be Financially Free. The message frames poverty, lack, and limitation as fear-based miscreations rather than God's will, and encourages listeners to reclaim abundance by changing behavior patterns and opening to divine flow. The show closes with gratitude, references to Lion's Gate, a brief attempt to play or share additional material, and closing phrases of peace, blessing, and farewell. Throughout the episode, the hosts blend spiritual ceremony, metaphysical readings, current-event commentary, donation support, and a recurring call for peace.

After six long years of war, the Continental Army was exhausted, and Congress had run out of money. George Washington feared that without a decisive victory, the cause of independence would be lost. But there was fresh cause for hope in the summer of 1781, as a massive French fleet sailed for the Chesapeake Bay. French and American commanders devised a plan to trap the British Army on a peninsula in Yorktown, Virginia.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
Three years ago, Kim Newing stepped away from a successful spiritual service as the portal of perimenopause opened in her life. Brain fog, sleeplessness, night sweats and loss of confidence - a list so many in perimenopause understand too well- invited a radical choice to step away from the path of service. But what was awakened by learning to sit in the fire of transformation was a deeper, more authentic sense of Self. As Kim returns to spiritual teaching for the first time in three years, she shares the profound gifts this time has brought to her work.In this episode, we discuss:This phase in a woman's life is an opportunity for a “return to self”—stripping away false identities and roles to reconnect with inner divinity and authentic desire.Teaching women to trust that their intuition is already innate within them - in truth, there is nothing to learn.Nearly every core problem women have can be traced to a damaged relationship with self.Perimenopause as a powerful but misunderstood death and rebirth cycle within one lifetime.Meet KimKim Newing is a Spiritual Mentor, Intuitive Guide, Embodiment Trainer and affiliate teacher for the Institute of Intuitive Intelligence. George Washington has become one of the most misunderstood figures in American history. Was America's first president merely a deist? Did he keep religion at arm's length? Or has modern scholarship sanitized the faith of the man who led the American Revolution? On this episode of Give Me Liberty, Ryan Helfenbein is joined by Dr. Peter Lillback—church historian, founder of the Providence Forum, and author of George Washington's Sacred Fire—to examine Washington's own writings and uncover what he actually believed about God, providence, Jesus Christ, and the Bible. They discuss:The myth that George Washington was a deistWashington's repeated references to divine providenceWhy liberty only exists under God's lawThe Christian worldview that shaped America's foundingHow modern culture has rewritten the Founding FathersWhy recovering America's true history matters todayIf you've ever wondered whether America's founding was rooted in Christianity or secular Enlightenment thought, this conversation is a must-watch. George Washington is a man of a mythological stature. A stalwart man of war, 6'2” with animal teeth and a seemingly endless supply of stories where he cheated death, Washington's role is so much more than just a founding father or first president. From the $1 bill to the capital to the busiest motor vehicle bridge in the world, Washington's name and image are everywhere in the USA.Washington is famously remembered as “First in war, first in peace, and first in the hearts of his countrymen,” and, this sentiment still largely rings true. And 250 years after the nation's founding, Washington is still remembered as a great leader and a great man.But was he a good man? Did he understand morality? Did he have a relationship with divine goodness or submit to a higher power?Washington's embrace of slavery as a means to growing his wealth, his collaboration with deists and just the general historical distance we have from when he lived, have all caused historians to call into question Washington's relationship with Christianity. As American Independence Day approaches, on this week's episode, culture critic Joseph Holmes investigates the faith of our foremost founding father in two separate conversations. In the first part of the episode, he interviews Peter Lillback about his national bestselling book, “George Washington's Sacred Fire,” in which Lillback makes a strong argument for the case that Washington was in fact a committed Christian. In the second part of the episode, Joseph speaks with Diederik Hoogstraten, screenwriter of “Young Washington,” which comes out this Friday.Religion Unplugged's reporting and analysis is brought to you by real people — like me! Something shifts in the middle of life that you were not warned about. The fervor you once had—the fire, the sense that God was close, and the faith was vivid—has gone flat. And the question underneath your silence, the one you are ashamed to admit, is not "What happened to my faith?" It is "What is wrong with me?" Nothing is wrong with you. But something is forming inside you, whether you know it or not. Whether it becomes maturity or bitterness depends on decisions you are probably not aware you are making right now. Father Ronald Rolheiser—Missionary Oblate priest, theologian, and author of Insane for the Light and Sacred Fire—returns for a third conversation that opens the map most of us are missing. He walks through the three phases of a maturing Christian life, explains why wilderness seasons are not a malfunction but a form of purification, and addresses why the grief you keep deferring is the precise bridge to everything the second half of life is supposed to be. Underneath all of it is the one question midlife forces everyone to answer: whether you are still operating out of the pleasure principle, asking what is in it for you, or whether you have begun the long work of moving from achievement to fruitfulness. If you are in the flat middle stretch of life, this conversation will name exactly where you are. What comes after the naming is up to you. The Lord is not asking you to feel more. He is asking you to be honest, to grieve faithfully, and to hold with both hands whatever commitments He has already placed in yours. Guest Bio Father Ronald Rolheiser is a Missionary Oblate priest, theologian, and the author of Insane for the Light and Sacred Fire—among nearly twenty books exploring what it means to mature in a life with God. 250 years of freedom and independence is something every one of us should be thankful for. Too often we take for granted the freedoms and liberties we enjoy and forget there was a price that many paid. There were 56 signers to the Declaration of Independence that pledged their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor. Sadly today, there are those who desire the downfall of our nation, trying to destroy celebrations and recognition of this milestone. Further, there is erosion that has taken place trying to take away the values and freedoms we hold dear. We must be ever vigilant or this cherished treasure, America, will vanish before our very eyes. Hard News on Friday with Tara Green and Rama Arjuna and guests Astrological New Year and Quantum Consciousness Shift This broadcast of Hard News on Friday marks the 2026 Spring Equinox and the Astrological New Year, a pivotal moment of "quantum light speed" transition. The episode weaves together indigenous fire ceremonies, Mayan calendar insights, and a deep astrological analysis of the "Cosmic Jackpot" awaiting specific zodiac signs. It serves as both a spiritual guide and a call to action for the "Age of Aquarius." The Sacred Fire and Global New Year Traditions The session opens with a virtual sacred fire ceremony, honoring the Spring Equinox which serves as the New Year for Persian, Indian, and Chinese cultures. Participants are invited to offer sage, cedar, or tobacco to a virtual flame, symbolically jumping over the fire to release the burdens of the previous year while setting intentions for the new cycle. This ritual is grounded in the invocation of the "Seven Houses"—East, North, West, South, Above, Below, and the Galactic Center—to align wisdom with right action and planetary harmony. Mayan Tzolkin Forecast and Portal Days The week ahead is governed by the Tz'annine (Red Planetary Dragon), emphasizing birth, being, and nurturing. The guidance suggests a shift from self-dependence to a trust in the universal water (the Moon). Notably, the broadcast highlights the commencement of a 10-day series of "Portal Days" starting Wednesday with Kime (White World Bridger). These days are described as high-dimensionality periods where the veil between the past and future thins, requiring individuals to let go of ego-driven control and the belief that life must be a struggle. Geopolitical Awareness and the Star Gate Rama provides a sharp perspective on current global tensions, specifically addressing the "obfuscation" surrounding Iran, the United States, and Israel. He emphasizes the need for accountability regarding international war crimes and highlights the spiritual significance of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, describing it as a sentient "Star Gate" on the planet. He asserts that the "Galactics" and the gate itself are aware of any harm directed toward these sacred sites, which are vital to the planet's energetic grid. The Quickening of Consciousness The final segment focuses on a guided meditation regarding the "quickening" of human consciousness. This evolution is characterized by a rising vibration where unconscious patterns can no longer remain hidden. The message encourages listeners to view heightened sensitivity not as a weakness, but as a refinement of perception. The awakening is described as a collective shift where individual presence contributes to the "harmony of the spheres" and the realization that we are unique expressions of a vast, living intelligence. The 2026 Spring Equinox represents a definitive "wipe the slate clean" moment for the collective. By blending ancient Mayan wisdom with current astrological transits, the broadcast emphasizes that the "demolition phase" of the past few weeks has concluded, making way for a period of bold construction and personal power. As the Age of Aquarius dawns, the "people have the power" to transmute energy and manifest a new reality through conscious awareness.

In 1996, Don David Wiley's life was profoundly altered when who would later come to be recognized as the Spirit of Fire, often called Grandfather Fire, appeared before him as an apparition in the garden of a meditation retreat center near Cuernavaca, Mexico. Grandfather sent David to study with two Indigenous elders, Don Lupe Ríos Gonzales of the Wixárika (Huichol) tradition of Mexico's Sierra Madres and Don Lucio Campos Elizalde of the Nahua tradition of the central highlands in formal medicine and ceremonial apprenticeships in these two ancestrally related Indigenous paths. As a result, David received an initiation as a mara'akame – or a shamanic healer, counselor, and ceremonial leader in the Huichol tradition. He was also initiated as a quiapaquiz (caller of the sky-waters, in Nahuatl) or granicero – or weather worker in Spanish, ceremonial leader, and healer from the Nahua path. Fr. Ronald Rolheiser joins me to talk about his new book Insane for the Light, the final part of his spiritual trilogy that began with The Holy Longing and Sacred Fire. Together, we explore what it means to live faithfully through every stage of life from getting our lives together, to giving them away, to finally giving our deaths away. Fr. Rolheiser shares profound insights on the difference between resignation and surrender, how helplessness can become holiness, and why love is sustained not by emotion but by fidelity and presence. We talk about aging as a spiritual practice, the call to move from bitterness to gratitude, and the deep grace found in letting go. This is a conversation about surrendering in love, learning to live with open hands, and allowing the light of God to shine through us, even as everything else fades.Ronald Rolheiser, O.M.I., is President-Emeritus of the Oblate School of Theology in San Antonio Texas, where he remains a full-time faculty member and Professor of Spirituality.
