Purpose- One of the great tragedies of living in a fallen world is watching the government that God instituted to protect the innocent being dominated by greed and abuses of authority. -Proposition- God wants us to see government realistically and to long for Christ's Kingdom-

“The Saviour King” Looking to Jesus for the Fulfillment of All Our Hopes What are your hopes? If all your hopes were fulfilled, would you be happy? Let's be honest: we've experienced fulfilled hopes only to find the happiness to wear off, even disappoint. The gospel provocatively asserts that Jesus is the one hope and fulfillment of our hopes that does not expire or disappoint. Join us Sundays 10:30 am as we learn from Matthew's gospel about how Jesus is the fulfillment of all our hopes. Speaker: Albert Chung
God is faithful to His people, even when they have been unfaithful to Him. We'll see this truth in today's study in Isaiah 50 as we study an amazing prophecy of Jesus which proves, not only is He the promised king, He would also suffer for His people and won't divorce them, even though they have been unfaithful to their covenant with Him. Join us today in our study in Isaiah 50! As always, we are grateful to be included in the "Top 40 Bible Podcasts to Follow" from Feedspot.com (https://blog.feedspot.com/bible_podcasts/).

Sermon Overview: Jesus used parables of scattering seeds, plants growing, and harvesting crops to describe the kingdom of God. From those parables we understand that Christ's kingdom, which is God's rule in our hearts, and the invisible church, which is made up of all believers, grow through people proclaiming the Word of God. When everyone has come to faith according to God's plan, Christ will return to "harvest" the souls of all believers. We also see that the entire world, including unbelievers, benefit from the works of the invisible church.Sermon Topics: Misunderstandings about the soil and cropIt grows by the spread of the WordKnowing how it grows, what can we compare it to?View this sermon (with video and/or audio recording) on our website: https://www.casperwels.com/sermons/how-does-christs-kingdom-grow/Watch this sermon directly on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YDSiLy2bdXc

In Jesus' Sermon on the Mount, He repeatedly refers to God as our Father. What kind of Father is He- He is One Who notices, Who cares, and Who loves to graciously reward His children. This is why we come to Him in prayer and seek Him even with fasting. --Your Heavenly Father notices you. That will the theme for the service tomorrow as Jesus picks up the theme of prayer and fasting
Philippians 1:27-30
What is the point of the wiseman and the foolish man- The true citizens of Christ's kingdom are marked by hearing and doing the words of Jesus.
On a mountain in Galilee, Jesus gave his apostles a great commission, encouraged by a great comfort, and grounded in a great claim. This sermon explores the meaning of that commission and argues for its ongoing relevance for the church today. Most of all, it seeks to drive home the motivation and encouragement for carrying it out.

A Marriage Parody on Loving Servant-Leadership – "The Clothes Basket on the Stairs" Our most recent article focused on a marriage tip regarding real authority and “who wears the pants in your marriage/family?” The 2 pair of pants, found in 2 acronyms were “Proper Authority Needed To Succeed” and Proper Attitude Needed To Serve.” According to God’s Word when we “lord it over others” we are not actually in authority but are practicing according to the world and unbelievers (Matthew 20:20-28). On the other hand when we lovingly submit and serve we…Read More

There should be ministers or pastors to preach the Word of God and administer the sacraments. There should also be elders and deacons, along with the pastors, to make up the council of the church. --By this means true religion is preserved- true doctrine is able to take its course- and evil men are corrected spiritually and held in check, so that also the poor and all the afflicted may be helped and comforted according to their need. By this means everything will be done well and in good order in the church, when such men are elected who are faithful and are chosen according to the rule that Paul gave to Timothy.
Pastor Mark | The pledge of allegiance declares that we are one nation "Under God" but what does that mean? This message series will challenge us to ensure that our politics remain subject to the principles of Christ's Kingdom and Biblical truth. The goal is to equip the church to make Kingdom informed decisions when engaging in our politically charged world.
