Coach Korey Van Wyk is a Kinesiology instructor and Strength & Conditioning Coach at Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa. He teaches courses on strength & conditioning, nutrition, anatomy, personal training, and general fitness. In addition to his teaching duties, Korey is also responsible for the design and implementation of physical preparation programs for the football, wrestling, men’s & women’s soccer, cheer, and dance teams. Before starting at Northwestern, Korey spent time as a nutrition research assistant at Iowa State University and personal trainer at Elite Edge Gym in Des Moines, Iowa. He earned a master’s degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in nutrition and health science with an emphasis in exercise, and a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Central College in Pella, IA.
