Hey everyone, it's your hosts Bobby and Jim here with another wild ride of an episode of "Not Well." We've got a jam-packed show for you today, filled with everything from personal anecdotes to societal musings.First off, we want to give a shout out to our sponsor, Dr. Scholl's Skin Tag Remover. If you're looking to get rid of those pesky skin tags, this might just be the solution for you.In personal news, Bobby's been living it up and embracing his inner "show pony," while I've had a bizarre encounter with a fashion designer/music mogul at a local restaurant. We also discuss the complexities of dating and relationships, especially when it comes to navigating the gay scene. We dive into some heavier topics as well, like the recent news surrounding P. Diddy and the implications of Cat Williams' explosive interview. It's a reminder that the entertainment industry has some dark corners that are often overlooked. On a lighter note, we laugh about the absurdity of words like "extrajudicial" and the concept of "dickies" as a fashion statement. And in a moment of reflection, we ponder the very nature of money and debt, inspired by a parable about a traveler in a small town.We wrap up with a candid discussion on body image and the challenges plus-size travelers face. It's a topic that's close to home for many, and we don't shy away from the tough questions. So buckle up, grab your Bulge Band (don't forget to use our promo code for a discount), and get ready for a rollercoaster of emotions. Whether we're talking about our latest escapades or the state of the world, we're here to keep it real and maybe even change your name to Bobette if the mood strikes.Until next time, stay "Not Well" and keep living your truth!#notwell #podcast #life #relationships #society #humor[00:02:33] Play date with another couple.[00:03:47] Midlife crisis unfolding.[00:08:07] Losing weight makes me slutty.[00:11:18] Tattoo discussions with Spencer.[00:15:18] Meeting a mysterious fashion designer.[00:20:02] Dickies fashion history.[00:23:20] Kate Middleton's body double confusion.[00:25:38] Dick pic pet peeves.[00:30:14] Puff Daddy's name changes.[00:34:27] Money and Debt Concept.[00:37:51] Is there excuse for being fat?[00:40:17] The mental aspect of overeating.[00:44:29] Supportive friendships and disappointments.[00:47:22] Exploring curiosity about body parts.[00:49:33] Hammerhead cock.[00:53:43] Group showers at bars concept.[00:56:54] Risk reduction with Doxypep.Support the showAs always you can write us at nowellpodcast@gmail.com or call us at (614) 721-5336 and tell us your Not Wells of the week InstagramTwitterBobby's Only FansHelp us continue to grow and create amazing content, like a live tour or just help fund some new headphones when needed. At one point in the race, she was tied for last place, and all hope seemed lost. Finally, it appeared that cutoffs finally got her. After running for over 85 miles, was her journey finally over? Have you ever been distanced or cut off by a family member, friend, or community without notice or choice? Or maybe you have done so to someone yourself. Of course, you have! We often use unhealthy Distance and Cutoffs to manage the fears, anxiety, and insecurities that arise in relational or communal systems. We find ways to self-justify our distance. We confuse boundaries without our behavior. And we find it easier to walk away than to move through. While these strategies may offer temporary relief, they will stunt and undermine the opportunity we have to become more resilient, courageous, and connected humans. Those seeking to reach for a meaningful and purposeful life must learn how to do things differently in relationships.

While never the tallest or most athletic player, Coach JB was able to have success and separate himself through his work ethic, understanding of the game and his dedication to skill work. These are the same principles and concepts he now uses to help his players improve their basketball skills and understanding of the game while also increasing their overall confidence in themselves. Today's episode features performance coaches James DiBiasio and Collin (CT) Taylor. James and CT work at T3 performance in Avon, Ohio, and have a progressive approach to athletic performance training, encapsulating strength, movement, athleticism in a holistic manner that fits with the progression of athletic skill, and leveling up one's abilities as a human being. James and CT were both college athletes in baseball and football respectively, and CT played arena football after his NCAA years. In addition to their coaching, James and CT have been running the “Cutoffs and Coffee” podcast since 2020, having interviewed nearly 50 different guests. It's been enjoyable to see more elements of chaos, risk, perception/reaction, and overall athleticism, emerge in the sports performance process in recent years. Humans are the species on this planet with the greatest overall dexterity of skills, and yet, this dexterity is rarely leveraged in the average “training program” to a shade of its potential. “Training” is something that is traditionally heavy on data, but low on chaos, and yet, sport, as well as the array of FLOW inducing human movement practices, are quite the opposite. Yes, we still want to perform movements that improve the strength of muscles and tissues, while increasing capacity, but at the same time, we also want to give athletes challenges that allow them to expand their athleticism. On the show today, James and CT get into how they have incorporated a variety of athletic skills, flips, and calisthenic movements into their training, how much their athletes enjoy it, and how it links to dynamics on the field of play. They chat about how to leverage principles of intuition and chaos in the training day, and even week, speed training constraints, and finally, James and CT finish with an insightful view on the role of “difficult” training routines, and higher volume capacity-oriented training sets. This was a fun podcast with a lot of take-aways, and highlights the ways that the field of athletic performance training is expanding and evolving. Timestamps and Main Points: 3:58 – Who wins the “bang energy” drink quantity competition between James, CT and Will Ratelle 6:49 – How James and CT use calisthenics, flips and tricks to level up their physical abilities 13:02 – How training movement skills and a variety of abilities has inspired the linking of these various flips, tricks and skills with traditional athletic performance 26:15 – How risk becoming involved in a skill changes the dynamic nature of that movement 36:00 – How James and CT look at training in its ability to prepare an athlete for working with other coaches, or situations where the work may be unpredictable 38:36 – How James and CT's evolved training programs are perceived by parents and other coaches, and how they have gained trust over the years 43:05 – Moving through an “intuitive warmup” into a more programmed primary strength training session, and how a powerful warmup with a lot of “human” elements can make the strength training portion much better 52:31 – Changing the environment and the drill to get an outcome vs. trying to coach and cue excessively 1:04:07 – How to put difficult/capacity training exercises in context, and how to utilize higher volume training to athlete's advantage “We'll play around on the bars when we are in a training session with athletes, we'll goof around and do different warmup styles, front flips and rolls, exciting and non-normal movements that can pique curiousity, and maybe after the training session,

Cutoffs & Coffee Episode 48 CT & James DiBiasio, with Coach Tom Morris, Director of Strength and Conditioning at Indiana University Where to find them: IG: @therealct @jpdibiasio_ @t3performance @tommorrisperformance TomMorrisPerformance.com About Coach Morris, in his own words: “For a large part of my life, I took for granted what a healthy strong body and mind plays into your everyday life. I have raced in numerous cycling races, 12/24/36/72-hour adventure races, and triathlons of all distances. My motivation was not only pushing athletes to their highest physical and mental potential but pushing myself as well. After suffering a spinal cord injury in May of 2012, I went from being on top of the world both mentally and physically to being what I refer to as “Zeroed Out”. I went from racing some of the toughest races on earth to not being able to push a wheel chair more than 5 ft. This life changing event made me realize how fortunate we are to wake up each and every day. I work to encourage everyone to take advantage of every second. Don't set goals that will start in a week. Start right now! And hopefully if you're fortunate enough to have tomorrow you make that day better than the last. If you live by this rule and just get a little better each and every day the possibilities are endless of what you can achieve. One of my biggest passions in life is to help others achieve their own goals. I use my energy and passion for life as well as my own personal story with the hope that it can to show others that anything in life is attainable, if you just start, and never ever give up.” - Tom Morris This episode is brought to you by Underdogg Fitness, the BEST Store and Go Foam Roller in the game! Grit, Guts and Determination: The Leadville Race Series Podcast
Tune in here to this episode of Grits, Guts, and Determination, The Leadville Race Series Podcast, a leading authority for all things Leadville! Host Cole Chlouber, son of race founder Ken Chlouber, takes us on a story-telling journey of the 38-year rich history of this race. We learn all the tips, tricks, and stories from the Leadville community members! Joining us today is Sandy Monahan. Sandy has 33 years of experience of crewing and being “Cutoff Queen.” In 1989, she set up her crew for the first time. She shares that her husband, Mike, was the runner and she had already had experience crewing him several times in the past. Mike's first crew at Leadville consisted of Sandy, their children and their dogs. She shares how her support pack has changed since she first started compared to now. In addition to Mike as a runner, Sandy has crewed for Nick the biker, too. She finds the run is far more difficult to crew for because it is a longer amount of time. For biking, the crew is there mostly for emergency purposes. After a certain point, the crew has to be the voice of reason for the runner and know what needs to look for. The biggest piece of advice Sandy can offer for crews is to always be prepared for potential weather changes for both running and biking. From her experience, people who transition between biking and running always report that the run is the more difficult feat of the two. In the early dyas of her crewing, there weren't as many meal supplements available as there are today. During the first 50 miles, Mike would eat solid foods before transitioning to only consuming liquids. Runners are advised to eat as much as they can and more during those first 50 miles, because those are the calories they will be relying on later once they can no longer stomach food. It's important to train with whatever you're going to be eating during the race. Crewers have to be very mentally tough in order to carry their runner on to the finish line. Sandy shares some challenging stories she and Mike have faced on the trails. This race is not one from point to point, but rather from the beginning to the end. Cutoffs are there for the crucial safety of the runners. Even in just a 2 hour ride up the mountain, Sandy warns to be prepared for snow, rain, wind and more. At the very least, make sure you have a rainproof windbreaker in your pack. In closing, she offers final advice: always expect the unexpected, make sure your runner always has drop bags at every location and pay close attention to the cutoff times. Thanks for tuning in! Don't forget to like, share, and subscribe, and we hope to see you on the line in August!

The JournalFeed podcast for the week of March 14-18, 2022. Chest Tube Cutoffs Spoon Feed: Implementation of a guideline for chest tube placement with pneumothorax size cutoff of ≤35 mm in stable patients increased rates of observation for pneumothorax, with no apparent increase in rates of complication or observation failure. Pediatric Intubations Spoon Feed: There was no difference in first pass success rate or hypoxemic events when children were intubated with videolaryngoscopy (VL) versus direct laryngoscopy (DL). Intubations in children that took longer than 45 seconds had a greater incidence of hypoxemia, and overall, there was very low utilization of apneic oxygenation during laryngoscopy. Pre-intubation Atropine Spoon Feed: Atropine pretreatment was not associated with a reduction in the incidence of bradycardia in this tiny, single center study of pediatric intubations. hs-Troponin algorithms Spoon Feed: Accelerated diagnostic protocols using delta high-sensitivity cardiac troponin (hs-cTn) assays had high diagnostic accuracy. WCT gone wrong Spoon Feed: When treating this wide complex tachycardia (WCT) with synchronized cardioversion, the machine interpreted the T wave as the R wave. Nothing good comes of that!
