"The Awakening" TV Series Discussion •Apostle Darlyn Turner, Traci Brooks and Larry Perez as we discuss how a Television mini-series The Awakening impacted the Christian community as the show highlighted the violence in Chicago. •Apostle Clifford E. Turner, founder of Liberty Temple Full Gospel Church and World Outreach Ministries presented the show in 1990. The show started as a two-part skit for Television and evolved into a seven season, 150 episode Emmy Award winning series. This Television evangelistic outreach show became the longest running Christian mini-series produced. •Apostle Darlyn is the Co-founder/President of the Liberty International Network, a collaborative of ministries, churches, businesses and individuals dedicated to the advancement of the Kingdom of God extending to all sectors of society. Apostle Darlyn along with keeping the legacy of her late husband Apostle Clifford E. Turner continues the work with The Liberty International Network as well as being the President of Holywood Studios; a Christian film and production company. She is also the President of the National Widows Association. •Traci Brooks an actress who played the main character “Candy” in the drama series and Larry Perez an actor who played two characters “Que and Antonio”. Both Traci and actors have travelled the country expressing their art through drama. They continued to work with Apostle Clifford E.
