Ryan and Paul are back to recap what will likely end up being one of the best cards of the year. The UFC returned to London and it was a coming out party for Paddy Pimblett as he scored a first round submission win and 17,000 people took to song, led by head cheerleader "Meatball" Molly McCann. McCann scored a KO of the year contender earlier in the card and it was a great night for almost all of the UK fighters as there were impressive performances up and down the card. Almost lost in the shuffle was Tom Aspinall mowing down Alexander Volkov in the actual main event and cementing himself as a future title contender. The guys also look ahead to a really solid card on ESPN this coming week from Columbus with heavyweight contenders Chris Daukaus and Curtis Blaydes meeting in the main event. They also talk about all the stuff that went down this week with Conor McGregor and Kamaru Usman this week including some news on who Usman is likely to defend the welterweight title next. Molly McCann was always a little bit different, but she didn't always want to be. A fantastic athlete, she excelled at football and now competes in mixed martial arts in the UFC'a flyweight division, but she struggled to come to terms with her sexuality. The result is a new book, "Be True To You", which tells the story of her path to coming out in a way that young people can understand and relate to, especially if they feel the same way.
The first UFC PPV of the year was a banger, with plenty of upsets. Where does Conor McGregor go next? Poirier has cemented himself as No.1 in the division, who gets to fight him next? Will that be for a title. So many conundrums to consider! Plus, Michael Chandler threw his name into the hat with a huge KO victory over Dan Hooker. We had some big wins for the Brits, with Jojo and Lerone Murphy putting on great performances. So did Mason Jones who showed a lot of promise in a narrow defeat. This weeks card is a little bit odd in terms of who the main/co-main event are, but it should still be a cracker. We've also got Meatball Molly McCann making her return, looking to get back to winning ways.
