On this week's Wrestling Tonight, we're diving into all the drama, surprises, and seismic moments from an unforgettable WrestleMania 41 weekend in Las Vegas. John Cena etched his name in the history books by defeating Cody Rhodes to become a 17-time world champion—surpassing Ric Flair's storied record. While undeniably historic, the match left fans divided: a legacy-defining moment for Cena, yet a puzzling conclusion to Rhodes' reign. And the WrestleMania headlines didn't stop in the ring. WWE officially announced its acquisition of Lucha Libre AAA, setting the stage for a “Worlds Collide” event with NXT this June. Triple H described it as a chance to elevate lucha libre on a global scale, though many are waiting to see how this merger will affect AAA's creative identity and independence. While WWE was making headlines, AEW delivered one of its strongest weeks of the year. Jon Moxley laid down a challenge to Samoa Joe, Nick Wayne captured the ROH TV Title, Josh Alexander made his surprise debut by joining the Don Callis Family, and Forbidden Door was announced for London's iconic O2 Arena. Back at WrestleMania, Jey Uso shocked the world by forcing Gunther to tap out in the opening match, and in the Night One main event, Paul Heyman dramatically aligned with Seth Rollins, who pinned Roman Reigns in a chaotic triple threat. Standout performances came from IYO SKY, Dominik Mysterio, and Drew McIntyre, while Night Two delivered a mix of highs and lows—an ongoing conversation on this week's show. Beyond the matches, the week was filled with headline-making moments. WWE President Nick Khan defended the company's “underdog” mentality. John Cena reflected on his relationship with Vince McMahon. CM Punk discussed WWE's push for a new five-year contract. And Roman Reigns opened up about his future in the ring. We also cover Sabu's emotional and brutal retirement match at Spring Break, Brodie Lee Jr.'s in-ring debut, and key developments from the WWE ID and NXT tournaments. With major movement across WWE, AEW, TNA, and NJPW, there's no shortage of stories to unpack. It's been a week of milestones, power moves, and turning points—and Wrestling Tonight is here to guide you through it all. Follow us on social @turnbuckletavern, support the show on Patreon for just $2.99/month, and until next week—stay out of the alley and away from the pork and beans. God luck and good speed.

When Your Movie Trailer is a Lie 101 This week on the podcast, Brian and Darryl are breaking down the disappointing box office performance of Snow Brown, talking about Cody vs. Cena, reviewing the last two episodes of Daredevil: Born Again, share a very disappointed review for A Working Man, and then it’s on to the Reacher Season 3 finale. Episode Index Intro: 0:07 Snow Brown Box Office: Cena vs. Cody: Daredevil: A Working Man: Reacher: Snow Brown Box Office As of March 30, 2025, Snow White has accumulated $66.9 million in the United States and Canada, with an additional $75.8 million from international markets, totaling approximately $142.8 million worldwide. Given the film's substantial production and marketing budget, industry analysts suggest it would need to gross around $500 million globally to break even, indicating potential financial losses for Disney. John Cena and Cody Rhodes Cook on the Road to Wrestlemania On Monday Night Raw at London's O2 Arena, WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and John Cena engaged in a heated confrontation ahead of their WrestleMania 41 main event. The segment began with Cena addressing the audience, only to be interrupted by Rhodes, who challenged Cena's recent criticisms. The exchange quickly escalated, with both men delivering personal and intense verbal attacks. Cena accused Rhodes of being a “sociopathic nepo baby” with an inflated ego, referencing his neck tattoo and past gimmicks. Rhodes countered by questioning Cena's authenticity and motivations, suggesting that the fans chose him, whereas Cena was selected by a now-absent figure in WWE management. The confrontation culminated physically when Cena attempted a cheap shot, but Rhodes countered, delivering his signature “Cross Rhodes” maneuver, leaving Cena laid out in the ring. This intense segment has significantly amplified anticipation for their upcoming clash at WrestleMania 41. Daredevil: Born Again (Disney Plus) Episode 5: “With Interest” Out of 5 Please Don’t Remind Us Darryl: 3/5 Brian: 4.03/5 Director: Jeffrey Nachmanoff Writer: Grainne Godfree Air Date: March 25, 2025 Summary: Matt Murdock finds himself entangled in a bank robbery alongside Yusuf Khan, father of Ms. Marvel. While some viewers appreciated the lighter, standalone nature of the episode, others felt it was a filler that didn't advance the main plot. The inclusion of Yusuf Khan was seen by some as a fun MCU connection, while others viewed it as forced. Overall, the episode received mixed reactions, with some enjoying the change of pace and others longing for more substantial narrative progression. Episode 6: “Excessive Force” Out of 5 Dueling Fight Scenes Darryl: 4/5 Brian: 4.13/5 Director: David Boyd Writer: Thomas Wong Air Date: March 25, 2025 Summary: Matt Murdock finally decides that playing dress-up in red spandex is the best way to tackle New York's latest menace—a serial killer named Muse who thinks painting with blood is avant-garde. Meanwhile, Wilson Fisk, ever the multitasker, juggles his mayoral duties with forming a secret police squad of “bad apples” to combat vigilantes, because nothing says “law and order” like unchecked brutality. The episode oscillates between Daredevil's gritty showdown with Muse and Fisk's personal therapy session, which involves beating a man senseless in a prison cell. It's a heartwarming tale of two men embracing their true selves: one through morally ambiguous fisticuffs, the other through homicidal rage. Critics have noted that this return to form brings back the “nastiness and grit” reminiscent of the pre-Disney+ days. Overall, it's a delightful reminder that in the Marvel universe, personal growth often involves a healthy dose of violence. A Working Man (2025) Out of 10 Could There Be Any More Temu Batman Villains in One Movie Darryl: 4.25/10 Brian: 4/5 Summary “A Working Man” is a 2025 action thriller directed by David Ayer and co-written by Ayer and Sylvester Stallone. The film follows Levon Cade, portrayed by Jason Statham, a former black ops operative who has left his violent past behind to work in construction and care for his daughter. His attempt at a peaceful life is shattered when his boss's teenage daughter is kidnapped by human traffickers, compelling Levon to employ his lethal skills to rescue her. Writer: Sylvester Stallone, David Ayer Director: David Ayer Producers: David Ayer, Bill Block, John Friedberg, Chris Long, Jason Statham, Sylvester Stallone Cast: Jason Statham as Levon Cade Michael Peña as Joe Garcia David Harbour as Gunny Lefferty Jason Flemyng as Wolo Kolisnyk Arianna Rivas as Jenny Garcia Noemi Gonzalez as Carla Garcia Emmett J. Scanlan as Viper Eve Mauro as Artemis Maximilian Osinski as Dimi Kolisnyk Isla Gie as Merry Cade Studio: Amazon MGM Studios Release Date: March 28, 2025 Box Office: As of April 1, 2025, the film has grossed $33.4 million worldwide, with $16.8 million from the United States and Canada, and $16.6 million from other territories. Reacher (Amazon Prime) Finale Out of 5 Stolen But Not Really Stolen Motorcycles Darryl: 4/5 Brian: 4.12/5 Season 3 Out of 10 There’s Always a Bigger Fish Darryl: 8/10 Brian: 8.21/10 Episode Title: “Unfinished Business” Director: Sam Hill Writer: Scott Sullivan Air Date: March 27, 2025 Summary: In the gripping Season 3 finale of Reacher, titled “Unfinished Business,” Jack Reacher and his team confront the treacherous Xavier Quinn at Zachary Beck's estate. The episode features an intense showdown between Reacher and the formidable bodyguard Paulie, culminating in Paulie's demise. Amidst the chaos, Zachary Beck sacrifices himself to protect his son, Richard, from Quinn's wrath. Ultimately, Reacher exacts vengeance on Quinn, bringing their tumultuous history to a close. The season concludes with Reacher parting ways with his allies and riding off on a motorcycle, embodying his solitary nature. In this episode, we talk about spiritual mentorship and being formed in Jesus. We reflect on the spiritual mentors who have journeyed with us and share stories about the lessons that have shaped who we are today. We also talk about why comparison crushes our ability to receive, our calling to make disciples of all nations, and how the daily witness of our lives is an answer to this call. How have I failed to acknowledge the humanity of my mentors? What intentional “yeses” can I give to mentoring or being mentored in this season? F1 celebrated in grand style its 75th anniversary in London in the O2 Arena with a red carpet to boot. All the teams new liveries were introduced, and it was a grand affair. We also cover Ferrari`s new car introduction, and how Lewis and Charles are feeling about it, and finish off with latest F1 news roundup.
This week on The Sports Agents...Mark and Gabby hit the road this week, meeting Formula One drivers at the O2 Arena and travelling to Wigan to chat to the best and possibly most underrated coach in Britain. First up, an exclusive interview with three-time Grand Prix winner George Russell about taking over from Lewis Hamilton as Mercedes lead driver, swearing rules and the moment you know if your car will be good enough to win a world championship (it's sooner than you think!). (02:45) Mark also caught up with young British rookie Oliver Bearman, who was three when Hamilton won first world championship. He made a dramatic debut last season: drafted in with two hours notice he finished 7th ahead of Hamilton and Lando Norris, becoming the youngest British F1 driver in the process. So in his first full season can he replicate that success? He didn't in his driving test... (10:45)And we meet Wigan Warriors Head Coach, Matt Peet, whose recent trophy cabinet is rivalled only by the likes of Pep Guardiola with seven in three years. So how did the life-long Wigan fan, who never played professional rugby league, guide his side to a historic quadruple and the Team of the Year award at Sports Personality of the Year? Might have something to do with the philosophy he reads... (15:30)Got a question for The Sports Agents - email us at thesportsagents@global.com New episodes every Tuesday and Thursday.

We react to Formula 1's first-ever group launch event in the latest edition of The Race F1 Podcast. Jon Noble and Charley Williams join Edd Straw from the O2 Arena in London to appraise F1 75 and ask whether this one-off event could become a regular one. We pick out the teams that made the best (and worst) impressions with their segments and what we want to see more, or less, of in the future. We also gauge the crowd reaction and what it says about F1. And with plenty of news emerging from the day, we also ask if F1's Monaco two-stop plan is a good one. This week F1 held its spectacular season launch event at the O2 Arena in London in a ceremony that was all about entertaining the fans, particularly F1's new fans. Hot on its heels F1 is launching the latest Global Fan Survey, which is being conducted by Motorsport Network, Autosport's parent company, in partnership with F1. This is where F1 fans around the world have a chance to make their voices heard. There will be many useful learnings for F1, the teams, sponsors and promoters. The 2021 survey had 167,000 responses from 185 countries, with Nielsen certifying it as the largest sports survey ever conducted. We have been conducting these surveys for many years. The 2017 survey came just after Liberty Media's takeover of F1 and by 2021 we could clearly see the changes in attitudes and demographics among fans, who were younger and more female. So what will this new survey show? Autosport Editor-in-Chief Rebecca Clancy and Chief Motorsport writer Ben Hunt join James in the studio and we hear from an influential voice from the US on F1's new audiences, Toni Cowan-Brown. If you'd like to participate in the 2025 F1 Global Fan Survey, you can do so by clicking this link: https://fansurvey2025-formula1.motorsportnetwork.com Send your comments or questions to: @jamesallenonf1 on X/Twitter or jamesallenonf1@autosport.com. We look ahead to Formula 1's imminent launch season in the latest edition of The Race F1 Podcast. Scott Mitchell-Malm and Ben Anderson join Edd Straw to explain how the time between now and the first day of testing in Bahrain on February 26 will play out. The centrepiece of launch season is the F1 75 event at London's O2 Arena on February 18, where all 10 teams will have a slot on stage to reveal their livery. We explain what to expect from that, and debate whether it will live up to fan expectations. We also explain what cars we might see appearing before them, and the restrictions that mean it's difficult to launch a genuine 2025 car before the big event in London. And with just a small window between F1 75 and freight leaving for Bahrain, we run through the teams that will be revealing the cars in the days before testing starts. Finally, we each pick out which car - or cars - we're most looking forward to seeing break cover. Want extra podcast content and to ask questions on the show? As Formula 1 prepares to take another spin of the wheel at Las Vegas, the latest edition of GP Racing magazine is on the news stands, so it's once again time for Codders to Podders, as ever with Mark Gallagher and Autosport's Grand Prix Editor, Alex Kalinauckas. In this month's episode, we ask whether Max Verstappen will be ‘four and done' with Red Bull – and, indeed whether Red Bull will be able to win another world championship in the foreseeable future as their driver academy might not be holding up as well as it once did, despite two and a half decades of success... Are we in the strange situation where Red Bull literally "can't afford" to let Sergio Perez go? Elsewhere the trio chat about their latest feature on Haas team principal Ayao Komatsu, and his favourite climbing wall. Consider this a boulder dash rather than balderdash, as they discuss his engineering background and rising through the ranks within the sport, being Romain Grosjean's race engineer and the awkward timing of his favourite cappuccino... (PS: You can also see a video of the interview on Autosport's YouTube channel!) And finally, marketing comes to the forefront with a deep dive on F1's latest idea, a live show to celebrate their 75th anniversary with all ten team's liveries being revealed at the O2 Arena in February, as well as Monaco being extended on the sporting calendar until 2031. Is the live show an insult to long-standing fans or a brilliant commercial idea? And is Monaco still as important as it used to be? It's a news bonanza on the mid-week episode of The Race F1 Podcast as Edd Straw is joined by Scott Mitchell-Malm and special guest Christian Menath from German outlet Motorsport Magazin to unpack several big stories. The first is the shock news that Formula 1 will have a new race director from the Las Vegas Grand Prix as Niels Wittich has stepped down with immediate effect. We discuss what's behind his sudden departure, and Christian explains why there's more to it than the FIA's statement lets on. Next Dan Fallows' impending departure from his Technical Director role at Aston Martin is discussed, before talk turns to rumours that Sauber owners Audi are looking to sell a stake in the team. But who to, and why? And the episode is rounded out with talk about the big shake-up to F1 launch season, with a joint launch event set to take place at London's O2 Arena in February. Edd, Scott and Christian explain why this is happening before turning their attention to Alpine, following the confirmation that the Enstone team will use Mercedes power units (as taking gearboxes and rear suspension) from 2026.
