Jim and Matt are joined by victorious welterweight contender Sean Brady and former two-division UFC champion Henry Cejudo for this Monday edition of UFC Unfiltered! Joining first is Brady — and Matt praises the Philly native's high-level jiu-jitsu as the guys break down what Brady did to successfully outclass Leon Edwards in this past Saturday's UFC London main event. Jim and Matt share their reactions to Carlos Ulberg's rise, Kevin Holland's return to form, and Molly McCann's retirement after UFC London before inviting Henry Cejudo on to the program. The former Olympic gold medalist gets candid on his current standing in the bantamweight division after a tough stretch before outlining his plans for what's next in his UFC career.

Sean Brady just sent a message to the welterweight division. On Saturday night, Brady dominated former welterweight champion Leon Edwards in the main event of UFC London, becoming the first person to finish “Rocky” when he tapped Edwards with a mounted guillotine choke in the fourth round. Following Saturday's event, MMA Fighting's Jed Meshew and E. Casey Leydon react to Brady's sensational performance, whether he leap-frogged Shavkat Rakhmonov in the 170-pound contender line, where Edwards goes from here, Carlos Ulberg's forgettable win over Jan Blachowicz in the co-main event, Kevin Holland looking great back at welterweight against Gunnar Nelson, Molly McCann's retirement from MMA, some questionable decisions on the undercard, and much more. It's been over a year since Shauna Bannon made her UFC debut and the Tallaght UFC straw weight is adamant the world will see a host of improvements in her second trip to the Octagon. “Mama B” talks personal tests over the last twelve months, being coached by Paddy Holohan who made his debut ten years ago on the historic UFC Dublin card, the outrage surrounding her opponent Alice Ardelean and training alongside Kiefer Crosbie and Molly McCann in preparation for the event.
On Episode 3,469, the guys had a lot of drama with UFC 303 to go over. They also had two interviews. One with Vicente Luque, who will be fighting Nick Diaz, and Graham Boylan, who is promoting a Cage Warriors card in So-Cal, and we also got updates from him on Paddy Pimblet and Molly McCann.
Being deep in the middle of therapy can be draining. Ultimate Fighting Championship athlete Molly McCann has been working hard to understand her more toxic traits and behaviours, and her vulnerability has made her a stronger fighter. In this chat with Fearne, Molly talks about how she's learnt not to fear failure, and how to overcome self-sabotage, as well as the very physical way her trauma has been released. She explains how she knew she wanted to break her family's pattern of addiction too. Fearne and Molly also chat about the movement towards female athletes taking their menstrual cycle into consideration during training, and the fickleness of fandom – how we put people on a pedestal only to tear them down again. How can we learn to seek internal rather than external validation? Molly McCann returns to the Octagon for UFC® 304: Edwards vs Muhammad 2. Tickets for UFC® 304 go on sale at 10am BST on Friday, 7th June via Ticketmaster.TAKE PART IN OUR HAPPY PLACE SURVEY HERE: http://bit.ly/happyplacesurvey2024 Hosted on Acast. JEMS Editor-in-Chief Dr. Ted Lee speaks with Dr. Molly McCann-Pineo, director of Clinical Research in the Emergency Medicine Service Line at Northwell Health. Dr. McCann-Pineo is also an assistant professor of Emergency Medicine and Occupational Medicine, Epidemiology and Prevention at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.
The Trident of Knowledge form with Donagh Corby and Andy Stevenson returning to The Craic to discuss Omran Chabaan of Team KF and Paddy McCorry of FAI being announced as cast members for the upcoming season of TUF, which begins filming in a little over a week's time. The trio shed light on the fighters careers up until this point, consider whether Alex Grasso or Valentina Shevchenko's team would be better to join, discuss the dying throes of the TUF concept and also look at the inclusion of Cage Warriors bantamweight prospect, Nathan Fletcher, who fights out of the acclaimed Next Generation gym in Liverpool, home of Paddy Pimblett and Molly McCann.
Molly McCann bagged her 4th UFC $50K bonus in her straw-weight debut in Las Vegas, bagging her first ever victory via submission. She was the star of the show at the APEX which featured a slow paced main event and one of the fastest no-contest results in history! The MMA Vivisection Shows: 'Main Card Preview' & 'Prelims Card Preview'
This is a free preview of a paid episode. To hear more, visit bloodyelbowpodcast.substack.comUFC Vegas 85 is kind of a mixed bag. The main card is solid—not great, but solid. However, the prelims are a whole other story. From the ultra softball match the promotion is giving Molly McCann to the lack of any name value aside from Molly's, this undercard is a stinker.Bloody Elbow is fighting for the sport, the fighters and the fans. Jim Norton and Matt Serra are joined by women's strawweight Molly McCann and former two-time World Series champion Johnny Damon for today's episode of UFC Unfiltered! Set to fight 27-year-old women's strawweight Diana Belbita in a rematch from 2019, Molly hops on the show to explain how extra focus on improving her jiu-jitsu along with a drop down to 115 pounds has her feeling confident with her ability to put an end to her current two-fight losing streak. The British fighter known as “Meatball” ends the interview by sharing how her love for Italian food resulted in her opening up her own Italian restaurant called ‘Polpetta' back home in Liverpool. Between interviews, Matt hilariously admits to knowing just one thing and one thing only about the upcoming Super Bowl matchup. Then, Johnny Damon calls in to reflect on how awesome it was that Boston's electrifying UFC 292 card last Summer was able to be the former Red Sox outfielder's first experience at a UFC event. Finally, the guys wrap up the show with their picks for some fights atop Saturday's UFC Fight Night: Dolidze vs. Imavov card.
