The early hours of Feb. 24, 2022 were not something any Ukrainian could have imagined. It was a very regular night. As Russia ramps up shelling of civilian areas in Ukraine, the U.N. reveals at least 400 civilians have died and that the actual death toll is likely much higher. Shyshov provided assistance to Belarusian refugees fleeing from persecution. Police have launched a criminal investigation saying that they are looking into a potential murder framed as suicide.
