This week's Sesh starts in one place and somehow ends somewhere completely different, which is honestly how most great conversations go. We dive into Utah's long history with prescription pills, share stories about pain medication, addiction, recovery, and how easily people can find themselves heading down a road they never intended to travel. From there, the conversation shifts into chronic pain, fitness, alcohol, personal responsibility, and the frustrating reality that sometimes the best solutions come from random people who've lived through the same problems rather than the professionals you expected to help. Then things take a turn into dating, relationships, identity, self-worth, and the strange expectations we place on ourselves and each other. We talk about modern dating, why genuine connection feels harder than ever, how people confuse job titles and income with value, and why many of us are still carrying stories about who we think we're supposed to be. Along the way we explore friendship, fatherhood, religion, community, personal growth, networking culture, leadership, and why helping other people often ends up helping ourselves just as much. Utah's long history with prescription pill abusePain medication, addiction, and recovery storiesWhy movement often helps chronic pain more than medicationThe surprising similarities between dating and video gamesHow self-worth gets tangled up with money and careersDating apps, modern relationships, and connectionFatherhood, purpose, and personal growthWhy community matters more than networkingLeadership, hiring, and building better workplacesThe stories we tell ourselves about who we areOne Thing to remember,Most of us spend a lot of time trying to become the person we think we're supposed to be. Sometimes the better question is whether that story was ever ours to begin with.Keep the Mic on.Fuel the movement. Keep the conversation going. We keep a running list of tools and brands we personally enjoy and actually use.Find everything in one place here:
In Part 1 of this episode of Game of Crimes, two retired DEA law enforcement experts, Derek Maltz and Aaron Graham, pull back the curtain on one of the deadliest crises in American history: counterfeit prescription pills laced with synthetic fentanyl — and the $4.5 billion global death trade fueling it.These aren't street drugs. They're stamped, pressed, and packaged to look exactly like Xanax, Adderall, and Percocet. Cartel chemists are manufacturing them by the millions. Two milligrams — smaller than a few grains of salt — is a lethal dose. And many of these pills carry ten times that amount.
Hosts Kaycee McIntosh and Julie Henningsen recount Finnish corporal Aimo Koivunen's March 18, 1944 ordeal during the Continuation War: leading a seven-man long-range ski reconnaissance patrol in Soviet-controlled Lapland at −20°C, he collapses under exhaustion during a Soviet encirclement and, unable to dose properly with mittens on, swallows the patrol's full bottle of Pervitin—30 tablets (90 mg) of methamphetamine. After a brief surge, he develops psychosis, is disarmed by teammates, and skis on “autopilot,” later waking alone after covering about 100 km. He mistakenly skis through a Soviet camp, burns down a cabin by lighting a fire on the floor, survives on pine buds, steps on a landmine, and spends a week in a ditch before rescue in early April—two and a half weeks later—with a 200 bpm resting heart rate, 43 kg body weight, and frostbite requiring toe amputations. The episode adds WWII stimulant history and argues war repeatedly pushes armies toward chemical solutions. 00:00 Podcast Intro 00:28 Lapland Night Chase 02:28 Pervitin Decision 03:21 Finland Versus USSR 07:07 Aimo Early Life 11:43 Elite Ski Scouts 15:43 Ambush And Escape 21:00 What Is Pervitin 26:14 Pervitin Kicks In 27:24 Psychosis Takes Hold 30:17 Disarmed and Blackout Skiing 31:43 Autopilot Navigation West 34:48 Soviet Camp Close Call 36:16 Cabin Fire Hallucinations 37:10 Crash Hunger and Landmine 38:51 Week in the Ditch 40:31 Rescue and Aftermath 43:02 Life After the War 44:02 Story Published and Legacy 45:26 War and Drugs Through History 48:40 Limits of Human Will 50:29 Closing and Listener Support Listen AD FREE: Support our podcast at patreaon: http://patreon.com/TheCruxTrueSurvivalPodcast Email us! thecruxsurvival@gmail.com Instagram https://www.instagram.com/thecruxpodcast/ Get schooled by Julie in outdoor wilderness medicine! https://www.headwatersfieldmedicine.com/ REFERENCES Koivunen, Aimo — Personal memoir account published in Kansa Taisteli (1978). Why do so many people start ADHD medication... and then quietly stop within a year or two?In this Research Recap, Skye and Will unpack a systematic literature review examining why over half of all patients discontinue or significantly reduce ADHD medication within 2 to 3 years of starting. This episode isn't about whether you should take medication. It's about something more practical: what the data actually found about why people stop, where expert assumptions conflict with what patients reported, and how access barriers, drug holidays, and whether someone chose treatment for themselves all appear to shape long-term adherence. If you've ever let a refill lapse and told yourself you'd sort it later, this episode will feel uncomfortably familiar. What we cover:Why over half of patients discontinue ADHD medication within 2 to 3 years, and what the data found as the top reasonsThe gap between what experts assumed drove discontinuation and what patients actually reportedHow drug holidays, sometimes recommended by doctors, complicated how researchers tracked real adherenceWhy access barriers like pharmacy friction, moving states, and losing a prescriber show up as a real factorWhat the research suggests about people who sought treatment themselves versus those pushed into itWant more of Will's work? Two hours of the best Trance music, this is episode 424 of The Trance Empire with your host, Rodman. Choose your player
Jerry was in but we got really sidetracked talking about wiener pills.
Gio wonders if Juan Soto cares that his team stinks since he's still hitting well, then questions if former Mets coach Jeremy Hefner is the real reason the Braves staff is number one or if they just always have guys. Jerry returns for an update, but the show spends a lot of time on weiner pills. In baseball, the Yankees shutout the Royals behind Ben Rice's production, the Mets beat the Reds thanks to Carson Benge's RBIs, and Rays pitcher Jonathan Heasley vomits on the mound. Finally, Mike Vrabel is asked if he needs more time off, and SGA sends a cease and desist letter to Underdog Sports over videos of him flopping.
Stress and body pain have a way of disconnecting us from ourselves, and another pill is not always the answer. In this powerful conversation, Maraya Brown and Dr. Sherry McAllister shares how chiropractic care, nervous system healing, sleep, posture, and emotional stress all work together and why true healing starts by listening to the body instead of pushing through the burnout. About Dr. Sherry McAllister Sherry McAllister, DC, M.S. It's Tuesday, May 26th, A.D. 2026. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 140 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson and Timothy Reed Islamic governance seen in 14 countries Islamic governance is on the rise around the world, usually a response to Western aggression or interference with the Middle Eastern nations. Since 1980, the nations which have seen increased Islamic influence in government include Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan, Sudan, Brunei, Turkey, Iraq, northern Nigeria, Yemen, Somalia, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Maldives, and Syria. Russia's latest attack on Kyiv, Ukraine Russia has launched a barrage of attacks on Kyiv. Ukrainian officials say four people died and 60 were injured over the weekend. Ukrainian Supreme Court legitimized homosexual faux marriage Plus, in a February ruling, the Ukrainian Supreme Court has just legitimized the faux marriage of a male with a male as well as a female with a female. In Genesis 2:24, God said, “Therefore, a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.” China's aggression toward Taiwan and Taiwanese embrace “gay” marriage Last week, in the days following President Trump's visit to Beijing, China conducted another threatening military exercise involving 100 vessels off the shores of Taiwan, reports Fox News. Meanwhile, Taiwanese are even more in support of faux homosexual marriage since the nation legalized the abomination in 2019. The Taiwan Equality Campaign Poll found 54 percent of the population support faux marriage, up from 42 percent seven years ago. Jude 7 offers a sober reminder of what happens to places that embrace the sin of homosexual behavior. “Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.” Secret Service killed a gunman outside White House Another potential attempt on the life of the President occurred on Saturday, May 23rd at 6:00pm, reports NewsNation.com. The shooter, identified as 21-year-old Nasire Best, was shot and killed by Secret Service agents as he opened fire near a security checkpoint close to the White House at 17th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue NW. The mentally disturbed man reached into a bag, pulled out a weapon, and began firing. Trump will send 5,000 troops to Poland President Donald Trump has announced that the United States will send an additional 5,000 troops to Poland. The president noted that his decision was based on the election last year of Poland's conservative President Karol Nawrocki. Presently, the United States has 80,000 troops stationed in Europe, 10,000 of which are in Poland, according to a Council on Foreign Relations analysis. The largest U.S. presence is in Germany, with more than 38,000 troops. Should recently naturalized citizens hold office? Republican Congresswoman Nancy Mace of South Carolina who is also running to be the Palmetto State's next governor, made headlines for introducing a joint resolution to prevent recently naturalized citizens from holding office. Mace is calling for her resolution to be passed in the form of a constitutional amendment. In her words: “The American people deserve leaders who put America first. This amendment makes sure of it.” Oklahoma makes it a felony to traffic Abortion Kill Pills Oklahoma Republican Governor Kevin Stitt signed a bill that makes it a felony to traffic Abortion Kill Pills into the state for the purpose of causing an illegal abortion, reports Newson6. Punishments range up to 10 years in prison and a $100,000 fine, or both. Republican State Senator David Bullard commented on the bill. He said, “We have worked hard to eliminate this enslavement of people. The trafficking of the abortion pill is no different than human trafficking and possibly worse. It is the largest killer of babies and the greatest threat to motherhood.” Reddest states gain population; Bluest states lose America's “reddest” or most conservative states are gaining population and the bluest states are losing fastest. Last year, South Carolina, Idaho, and Tennessee were the fastest gainers on a resident per capita basis. By contrast, New York, California, and Maryland were the biggest losers. Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, and Michigan also lost residents in 2025. Condominium prices sinking across America Condo prices are sinking fast around the nation. A Denver condominium peaked at $280,000 in 2022 (adjusted for inflation), up from $165,000 in 2009. Already that $280,000 condo in 2022 (valued in 2009 dollars) has dropped off to a $202,000 value (in 2009 dollars). That's a 28 percent collapse in just four years. Florida and California condominium prices are sinking even faster. Condo prices usually run ahead of other real estate when the bubbles deflate. U.S. economy is faltering Americans are more pessimistic than ever concerning their views on the economy, while at the same time Wall Street is more euphoric than ever! The University of Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index has dipped to an all-time low — the lowest in 65 years of American history. Meanwhile, the NASDAQ Composite Index has exploded to over 26,300. That's a whopping 450 percent increase from 10 years ago — at the same time that the nation's Gross Domestic Product only increased 200 percent. Elon Musk on track to become Earth's first trillionaire And finally, as of yesterday, Elon Musk's net worth clocks in at $828 billion, according to the Forbes index. Economists say he's on his way to become the first trillionaire on Earth, reports The Daily Star. Elon's rocket, satellite and Artificial Intelligence empire is officially headed for the U.S. stock market, filing its prospectus with regulators. Google's Larry Page and Sergey Brin are hovering around $300 billion, and Amazon's Jeff Bezos sits at $270 billion on the Forbes billionaire list. Keep in mind the wisdom of Psalm 49:16-17 today: “Do not be afraid when one becomes rich, when the glory of his house is increased; For when he dies he shall carry nothing away; His glory shall not descend after him.” Close And that's The Worldview on this Tuesday, May 26th, in the year of our Lord 2026. Dr. Patrick K. Porter, PhD, is an award-winning author/speaker and the founder of BrainTap®, the leader in technology-enhanced meditation. Dr. Porter pioneered the use of brainwave entrainment to improve clarity, sleep & energy, and remains at the forefront of scientific research. He founded BrainTap with the goal of making this technology accessible to everyone. BrainTap offers over 1800 original audio sessions in 12 languages and serves a worldwide user base with its mobile app and headset. Ashok Gupta is the mind behind The Gupta Program and a leading expert in the field of neuroimmune conditioned syndromes (NICS). Ashok is an internationally renowned Speaker, Filmmaker & Health Practitioner who has dedicated his life to supporting people through chronic illness, and achieving their potential. As someone who's always had trouble focusing, Jack Savage was prescribed stimulants at the age of 5 until high blood pressure gave cause for serious concern. He quit cold turkey and started drinking lots of coffee. After 1-2 hours of ineffective energy, he'd crash or if he drank too much, he'd feel jittery and anxious. That's when he started researching biohacking, nutrition and functional mushrooms. Jack found that basically all mushrooms are magical, especially when combined with nootropics. This led him to the ingredients in Everyday Dose, which have allowed him to regain control of his life for the first time. oin DJ Qualls and Kelly Blackheart for another wild episode of Locked and Probably Loaded! DJ recounts his recent trip to Calgary where he received an honorary white hat ceremony (not to be confused with anything else!), dealt with freezing temperatures, and had some memorable bar experiences. The duo discusses their disappointing visit to see The Devil Wears Prada sequel, compares it unfavorably to the original, and debates the merits of various food challenges. They also dive into discussions about AI lying, invasive banking policies, modern car surveillance technology, and why dry humping was apparently a regional activity. Plus, Lucky the dog makes a studio appearance, and they tackle the eternal question: what would your last meal be? It's chaotic, hilarious, and quintessentially Locked and Probably Loaded! EP 663 - Khaligraph & Nyashinski's Unfiltered Rhymes, Anti-Aging Pills & Pluto's Fate
Drew's story sounds less like a straight line and more like a lit fuse. Raised mostly in Utah, what started as early oxy use quickly escalated into heroin, methadone, benzos, and a life built around the chaos of selling drugs. But selling soon bled into something darker: robbing local heroin dealers at gunpoint, high-speed car chases, police raids, and eventually fleeing to California while living fully on the run.In California, the hustle only evolved. Pills moved online through Silk Road, bitcoin fortunes disappeared almost as fast as they came, ketamine entered the picture, and rapid detoxes became desperate attempts to outrun addiction without ever truly surrendering to recovery. Through all of it, Drew lived at full speed until a few serious injuries and and dark moments afterward finally forced him to confront what decades of chaos had cost him.Now sober since 2021, Drew has rebuilt his life from the ashes of addiction and violence. Today, he owns a men's mental health and substance use treatment center Sacred Journey, in San Diego and lives deeply rooted in a program of recovery. In this episode, Drew shares one of the wildest stories we've ever had on the podcast, but underneath the insanity is something even more powerful: proof that even the most self-destructive life can be rebuilt into one centered on purpose, service, and freedom.Connect with Sacred Journey Treatment Center on InstagramDM me on InstagramMessage me on FacebookListen AD FREE & workout with me on Patreon Connect with me on TikTokEmail me chasingheroine@gmail.comSee you next week!

Could the hidden ingredients in Ozempic-style weight loss pills be damaging your gut health and slowing down your metabolism? In this episode of Accelerated Health with Sara Banta, I uncover the shocking truth behind many popular GLP-1 medications and weight loss pills — and why some of the inactive ingredients, fillers, additives, and long-term effects may be creating serious problems beneath the surface. While Ozempic and similar drugs are praised for rapid weight loss and appetite suppression, many people are experiencing gut issues, muscle loss, fatigue, nutrient deficiencies, slowed metabolism, digestive dysfunction, and rebound weight gain. I explain how these medications may affect your microbiome, blood sugar regulation, insulin sensitivity, and overall metabolic health over time. You'll also learn why protecting muscle, supporting the gut, and optimizing metabolism naturally are critical for sustainable weight loss and long-term health. If you've considered taking Ozempic, are currently using GLP-1 medications, or are struggling with unexplained digestive and metabolic issues, this episode is essential to listen to.Supplements Featured In This Episode:• Acceleradine® Iodine https://www.acceleratedhealthproducts.com/products/acceleradine-iodine-supplement • Accelerated Thyroid® https://www.acceleratedhealthproducts.com/products/accelerated-thyroid-supplement • Accelerated Fast® https://www.acceleratedhealthproducts.com/products/accelerated-fast-supplement• Accelerated Liver Care® https://www.acceleratedhealthproducts.com/products/accelerated-liver-care• Healthy Gut Tributyrin-X https://www.acceleratedhealthproducts.com/products/tributyrin-x• Pure Encapsulations® Berberine UltraSorb™ - Blood Sugar & Metabolic Support https://www.acceleratedhealthproducts.com/products/pure-encapsulations-berberine-ultrasorb Not sure what food to eat and avoid? It's Monday, May 4th, A.D. 2026. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 140 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Christians in Afghanistan have to remain invisible to survive Being known as a Christian in Taliban-controlled Afghanistan brings lethal danger. In this country of 44 million people, Muslims comprise more than 99.7% of the population, reports International Christian Concern. Not long after the Taliban retook control of Afghanistan in August 2021, they declared that no Christians were remaining in the country. Though the Taliban claimed no Christians remained, Christians still exist—surviving only by remaining invisible. The Taliban reportedly searched door to door and through smartphones, hunting for any signs of Christian conversion. This reality highlights the core argument: Afghan Christians must stay hidden to survive. The situation also became highly precarious for other religious minorities, including Sikhs, Hindus, and the country's last Jewish resident. According to Open Doors, Afghanistan is the 11th most dangerous country for Christians worldwide. In John 15:19, Jesus said to His disciples, “If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.” Trump withdraws 5,000 troops from Germany The United States will withdraw 5,000 troops from Germany in the next six to 12 months, the Pentagon said Friday, fulfilling President Donald Trump's threat as he clashes with the German leader over the U.S. war with Iran, reports the Associated Press. Trump had threatened to withdraw some troops from the NATO ally earlier this week after German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said the U.S. was being “humiliated” by the Iranian leadership and criticized Washington's lack of strategy in the war. Germany hosts several U.S. military facilities, including the headquarters of its European and Africa commands, Ramstein Air Base and a medical center in Landstuhl, where casualties from the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq were treated. U.S. nuclear missiles are also stationed in the country. The number of troops leaving Germany would be 14% of the 36,000 American service members stationed there. News of the troop withdrawal drew swift pushback from Democrats in Congress as well as a hawkish Washington think tank. They said the move will benefit Russian President Vladimir Putin and weaken U.S. security interests. Bradley Bowman, a scholar at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, said the U.S. military's presence in Germany and elsewhere in Europe “not only strengthens deterrence against additional Kremlin aggression but also facilitates the projection of American military power into the Mediterranean, the Middle East, and Africa.” Federal appeals court blocks mail-order abortion pills Ready for some great pro-life news? On May 1st, a federal court issued a ruling that temporarily blocked the ability to send the Abortion Kill Pill by mail. Of American mothers who abort, 63% choose to use abortion drugs. If ultimately upheld, this decision could save tens of thousands of babies from abortions, reports LifeNews.com. A panel of the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans temporarily blocked a Biden administration rule allowing the abortion drug, mifepristone, to be dispensed through the mail. Marjorie Dannenfelser, the president of Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, called the ruling “a huge victory for victims and survivors of Biden's reckless mail-order abortion drug regime. We are so grateful for the tenacity of [Louisiana] Attorney General Liz Murrill, abortion drug coercion survivor Rosalie Markezich, and all our allies demanding action. “Women and children suffer and state sovereignty is violated every day the Food and Drug Administration allows abortion drugs to flood the mail – harms that are no mere accident, but predictable outcomes of the FDA's unscientific removal of safeguards like in-person doctor visits.” Republican State candidate found dead An investigation is underway into the death of a Republican state Senate candidate in Oklahoma who was found dead in his pickup truck on April 30th in a wildlife refuge, reports The Western Journal. Barry Christian, a candidate for state Senate District 38, had disappeared on April 28th, according to KOCO-TV. The Beckham County Sheriff's Office said a hunter reported to authorities that he had seen the wreck of a pickup truck that appeared to have crashed off a high ridge. 149th anniversary of God's locust miracle in Minnesota And finally, from 1873 to 1877, grasshoppers, also known as locusts, destroyed hundreds of thousands of acres of crops in Minnesota, leaving eggs in the soil for the next season. On April 26, 1877, Minnesota Republican Governor John Pillsbury declared a statewide day of prayer and fasting to combat a devastating four-year Rocky Mountain locust plague, which was threatening widespread starvation. Schools and businesses closed, with many residents taking the day seriously, asking God for deliverance. Shortly after the day of prayer, an unseasonable cold snap and snow arrived, freezing and killing millions of hatching larvae grasshopper nymphs. It was divine intervention. God answered their prayers. Prayer At The Heart invites 1 million Christians to pray for an unbeliever Speaking of the power of prayer, Prayer At The Heart, a group founded in 2021, to pray for America, launched 50 days of prayer, inviting one million Christians to pray for the salvations of a friend or loved one through May 24th. Franklin Graham said, “The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association desires to express its appreciation and support for the efforts of Prayer At The Heart to see one million people come to Christ by Pentecost Sunday, 2026. This could be the beginning of the spiritual awakening our nation so desperately needs, a renewal found only in Jesus Christ.” Get access to a free 68-page, 50-day prayer guide through a special link in our transcript today at www.TheWorldview.com. Plus, check out their online ‘Prayer Wall' with scheduled prayer in every state for an hour each week. In Jeremiah 29:12-13, God said, “Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will hear you. Welcome back to our weekend Cabral HouseCall shows! This is where we answer our community's wellness, weight loss, and anti-aging questions to help people get back on track! Check out today's questions: Brenda: My adult son is very interested in purchasing the GLP-1 Tone. Unfortunately he cannot swallow pills very well especially capsules. Can these capsules be opened up and put in water and still be effective? Stephanie: Hi Dr Cabral! I am currently on a certain medication (plaquenil) for my autoimmune that I would like to eventually come off of. I really want to do the limited cbo protocol which I tested for with a health coach about a year ago but wasn't able to do the protocol right yet. Since I am on this medication right now, I am unable to do the citracidal drops due to the grapefruit. How else would you recommend me doing the limited cbo? Are there other alternatives to GSE that I can do to try and heal my gut and get one more step closer to putting my autoimmune in remission and getting off this medication? Thank you for all your help, long time listener Tricia: Hi Dr. Cabral - I love starting my day, 7 days a week with you! Please work forever :). You are so helpful. This is regarding Podcast 3693 when you spoke about the 2 nutrients needed for cancer defense (p53). My question is about melatonin. I sleep fairly well for a 56-year-old post-menopausal woman. How much melatonin should I start with and can you mention the risks? I know not all supplements are good for everyone. I have heard wonderful things about melatonin and cancer. On the downside I read if you take melatonin your body will stop producing it faster on its own. Is that true? Should I wait until I'm 70 to start? I'm going to start adrenal soothe too. I feel at my age without the balance of estrogen & progesterone we need more adrenal support. Any advice is appreciated. Darren: Good day Dr Cabral. I'm seeing an increase of naturopaths saying a teaspoon of unmodified potato starch nightly leads to increase butyrate which then improves intestinal barrier integrity, lowers inflammatory signaling, enhances insulin responsiveness, and influences metabolic and immune pathways throughout the body. They say the resistant starch consumption improves glucose metabolism, reduces inflammatory markers, supports beneficial microbiome diversity, and contributes to better metabolic health. Taking it nightly further supports these effects by aligning gut bacterial activity with the body's natural overnight repair processes, including lower insulin levels, increased growth hormone release, and reduced cortisol activity. Do you agree or is it hogwash? Darren: Hey, Dr. Cabral. Me again. I've seeing several renowned biohackers and trainers say it's a falsehood that once you start TRT, you've to continue using it for life. They say if you happen to be the 1% of men over 35 who TRT is not for (for exceedingly rare reasons), you can simply desist, and within a few (2) months, your body will have returned to its natural testosterone production levels pre-treatment. Some basic precautions while you are experimenting with TRT will help you recover quicker should you choose to stop your treatment, but even then, those who do the sloppiest TRT recover quite quickly even if they don't use a traditional PCT (Post-Cycle Therapy). Is this based on new info or is it also hogwash? “Silent Shock”: She rented the house for the view — for the ageless, indifferent sea outside every window, for the poems she planned to write, for the phone calls to the men she used to love. And somewhere out past the fog, a great white ship was drifting closer to shore… carrying the one man she'd been waiting fifteen years to kill. | #RetroRadio EP0638CHAPTERS & TIME STAMPS (All Times Approximate)…00:00:00.000 = Show Open00:01:30.028 = CBS Radio Mystery Theater, “Silent Shock” (September 07, 1977)00:45:58.247 = Everyman's Theater, “Cat Wife' (October 18, 1940)01:14:57.244 = Murder By Experts, “The Big Money” (July 25, 1949)01:44:22.965 = Exploring Tomorrow, “Secret That Cannot Be Cracked” (April 23, 1958)02:04:00.956 = Faces in The Window, “Black Cat” (November 22, 1952) ***WD02:27:40.978 = Dark Fantasy, “Superstition Be Hanged” (March 13, 1942)02:51:54.169 = BBC Fear on 4, “Snowman Killing” (January 03, 1988)03:20:34.628 = Five Minute Mysteries, “Murder Under Tent” (mid 1940s)03:25:28.740 = Future Tense, “A Pail of Air” (May 20, 1974) ***WD03:52:41.177 = BBC Ghosts From The Past, “Black Stockings and Broken Mirrors” (April 08, 1992)04:36:22.865 = BBC Haunted Tales of the Supernatural, “Legal Rites” (May 15, 1982)05:04:21.055 = Show Close(ADU) = Air Date Unknown(LQ) = Low Quality***WD = Remastered, edited, or cleaned up by Weird Darkness to make the episode more listenable. Full Show Notes: bengreenfieldlife.com/fmt In this episode, you'll get to uncover one of the most intriguing developments in gut health—fecal microbiota transplants (FMTs). Joining me is Jason Klop, CEO of Novel Biome, who brings cutting-edge insight into how FMT is transforming from an obscure, hospital-based procedure into an accessible, precise, and surprisingly simple tool for optimizing your microbiome at home. We’ll break down how FMT is now being used for everything from irritable bowel issues to food sensitivities, and why the technology has advanced well beyond its origins. You'll also hear about the meticulous screening behind “super donors,” the science of oral FMT capsules, and the real-world results you can expect—including my own personal experience. Whether you’re looking to boost your gut health, support your immune system, or simply curious about the connection between your microbiome and overall vitality, this episode has what you need to stay on the cutting edge of holistic wellness. Jason Klop brings a clinical background in naturopathic medicine to his role as founder and CEO of Novel Biome, Canada's first licensed manufacturer of Fecal Microbiota Transplant (FMT) products. Having personally treated hundreds of patients with FMT in clinical practice, Jason saw a gap in the availability of safe, standardized microbiome restoration therapies and set out to build the infrastructure himself. Today, Novel Biome supplies FMT products to clinics, hospitals, and clinical trials around the world. Most women are suffering for years from anxiety, gut problems, low libido, and brain fog because no one is treating the real cause: their hormones. This episode is a masterclass in women's hormone optimization, covering everything from vaginal delivery of bioidentical hormones to why low estrogen destroys your gut, your sex drive, your mitochondria, and your marriage. Watch this episode on YouTube for the full video experience: https://www.youtube.com/@DaveAspreyBPR Host Dave Asprey sits down with Dr. Sarah Daccarett, MD, a physician, longevity expert, and the founder and CEO of Inner Balance, a modern women's health company redefining hormone therapy, sexual wellness, and aging. She has treated tens of thousands of women across all 50 states and is known for challenging outdated medical models and building science-driven solutions that reflect female biology rather than borrowing protocols designed for men. She created Oestra, a revolutionary hormone therapy delivery system, along with Libida, an on-demand libido solution that targets desire at the brain level, making her one of the most credible and innovative voices in functional medicine and women's longevity today. Together, they expose why conventional medicine has failed women for decades, why patches and pills are nearly useless, and what actually works for anti-aging, metabolism, longevity, and human performance. Dr. Sarah makes the case that hormone replacement therapy is not a last resort for menopausal women. It is a foundational longevity strategy that every woman should consider starting in her 20s. You'll Learn: Why vaginal hormone delivery outperforms every other delivery method for women How low estrogen destroys your gut lining, gallbladder, and immune system long before menopause symptoms appear Why a carnivore or animal-based diet raises estrogen and why fiber lowers it How progesterone converts to testosterone in women, and why you may not need a testosterone prescription The real reason SSRIs get prescribed when hormone replacement therapy should come first Why iodine is essential for breast health, estrogen metabolism, and thyroid function How oxalates from "superfoods" like matcha, spinach, and almonds accumulate in your ovaries, uterus, and kidneys Why both partners need hormone replacement therapy for a relationship to thrive How hormones control mitochondria, dopamine, norepinephrine, and every system in your body Thank you to our sponsors! - Qualia | If you want to take the guesswork out of maintaining high NAD+ levels as you age, go to www.qualialife.com/daveNAD to get clinically proven Qualia NAD+ backed by a 100 day money back guarantee and code DAVENAD at checkout gets you an extra 15% off. - Igniton | Try risk free at Igniton.com and use code DAVE at checkout for 15% off. DOPEYWOOD TICKETS: http://events.leapevents.com/event/dopeywood-2026 Patreon: www.patreon.com/dopeypodcast Dave tees up a Greatest Hits episode featuring Hasnie, a belly dancer turned first responder alcoholic with a wild, emotional story. Before that, we get a classic Dopey email about a reckless dealer named King who jumps out a window during a raid and later crashes a car doing whippets. Then shit gets real when Matt calls in mid-show ready to relapse. Dave and Ray talk him off the ledge in real time — and somehow even his dealers tell him not to use. Hasnie's story is intense: early chaos, booze, pills, sex, trauma, sending her kids away, and hitting bottom hard. She gets sober after a moment of clarity, goes to rehab, and finds her footing in Gay AA and SLAA. She rebuilds her life, gets her kids back (including rescuing her daughter from Ukraine during war), becomes a first responder, and stays sober through COVID and real-life trauma.
