Pastor Alexander gives his Easter sermon at the 11am worship service at Bethlehem! He is Risen! He is Risen Indeed! Hallelujah!
On this Easter Sunday, Pastor Alexander declares the way the resurrection power is going to come into your life is through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit! But before there can be a resurrection there first must be a death. You will never have a resurrection without a death. We generally don’t like death, but it’s how you respond in your death experience that is going to determine your resurrection. If you will allow the Holy Spirit to indwell your vessel, you too will experience resurrection power.

In today’s message Pastor Alexander asks, “Do we really know what it means to have a “HAPPY” New Year?” The Apostle Paul was a man who learned to be content (or happy) in all circumstances. In our text from the little book of Philippians, pastor Alexander will examine five characteristics to help us discover how to truly experience a Happy New Year in 2025.

In today’s study, Pastor Alexander shares the original Christmas story, where wise men from the East traveled far to worship the newborn king. They brought precious gifts to Him of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. The gifts they presented were prophetic and represented Christ as King, Prophet, and Savior. By sending his son Jesus, God has given to each of you the GREATEST GIFT that could EVER be given to man. The QUESTION is: “What are YOU going to GIVE GOD in RETURN?” “What GIFT Will You GIVE Him?”

Pastor Alexander continues identifying several RESULTS of Radical Obedience. Thus far we’ve discovered if we are abiding in Radical Obedience, we will RECIPROCATE the LOVE we RECEIVE from God; because we LOVE God, His WAYS will become OUR ways; and When Jesus is IN us, THEN SIN is CONQUERABLE. In today’s study we will learn about exceeding JOY that is given to the one who will abide in Radical Obedience. We will also be reminded that we are called to become His instruments of Grace. For that to happened we must get involved and lovingly and graciously extend the hand of Jesus.

Pastor Alexander continues the CONTRAST between the Children of Israel and Moses and address the KEY to approaching God’s Presence, “the FEAR of the Lord!” “God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, And to held in reverence by all those around Him.” (Psalms 89:7, NKJV) In today’s study we’ll discover that the evidence of the FEAR of the Lord in us is twofold: First, it’s the ATTITUDE of our HEART – God said, “Oh that they had such a HEART in them that they would FEAR me…” AND Second, it’s the ACTION of OBEYING God’s commands – “…that they would FEAR Me and always KEEP all My commandments…” (Deut.5:29, NKJV).

We live in a culture where there is a lot of misunderstanding about the meaning of Easter. In today’s message Pastor Alexander will examine what Easter really means and WHY it was such a BIG DEAL to so many people throughout history. It’s one thing to BELIEVE in the resurrection but another to ACT upon what you believe by putting your faith in Jesus Christ.

In today’s study Pastor Alexander identifies the problem of being disconnected from personal intimacy with God and stresses the importance of having a personal connection with God through intimate worship. It is important to come into the presence of God by seeking His Face (1 Chron. 16:11). You cannot bypass the intimacy of His presence or there will be a disconnect between you and the power source.

In today’s study Pastor Alexander focuses on God’s PROCESS for Spiritual Growth! Often in Scripture, the spiritual realm is described in terms of the physical realm. For example in 1 Cor. 12, the members of the body is likened to various gifts of the spirit in that all are important. So too, there are different levels of spiritual growth that are likened to our own physical development. In today’s study we will identify different levels of spiritual development and discover how to move to a higher level of spiritual growth in our daily life.

Pastor Alexander continues the series of messages on the Life of Abraham, a FRIEND of God and the father of FAITH, as our EXAMPLE of how to WALK with God. As Abraham walked with the Lord, he received an unfolding of the purpose and plan God had for his life. Abraham was brought to a time of testing of his Faith that he did not understand. Genesis 22:1 “And it came to pass after these things, that God did [TEST] Abraham,...” Sometimes the purpose of God brings us through circumstances that we really DON’T UNDERSTAND. And you DON’T know WHY you are going through WHAT you’re going through! How will your respond when your faith is tested?

Pastor Alexander continues the series on the Life of Abraham, a FRIEND of God and the father of FAITH, as our EXAMPLE of “How to WALK with God.” As Abraham was walking in obedience, he encountered several situations where he FEARED for his own life. His response in those times was not what we would look to as a great example of FAITH, but rather demonstrated the FAILURE of depending on the flesh. Yet in spite of his own failures God intervened and turned his failure into blessing. Our weaknesses and failures do not disqualify us from God plan and purpose in our lives! God’s GRACE and MERCY is greater than OUR WEAKNESS!
Many of us allow our anger to be the reason we don't show up in our relationships. It comes out as an antagonizing emotion where you feel you've been mistreated.
