This week the podcast was intended to illustrate a routine bedtime but after reading Don't Push the Button by Bill Cotter and Octonauts and the Sea of Shade by Meomi we had a brief Lion King Musical Interlude with Owen's mom Sarah when he demanded some lotion for his face. We then finished off with a reading of My Little Geek by Andrew and Sarah Spear and Little Pea by Amy Krouse Rosenthal and Jen Corace. You longed for a child of your own and you absolutely love being a parent. But you are also a multifaceted human being with other interests and goals apart from parenting. With all the time parenting requires, how do you stay connected with your other passions? Annie talks with Sarah Spear, host of the weekly podcast The Parentalist. They discuss the importance of making time for your non-parenting passions. Because, as Sarah says, "Doing what you love will make you a happier person and a better parent!"
