School of Seven Bells (aka SVIIB) is Benjamin Curtis and Alejandra Deheza. They met while on tour with Interpol (while in different bands) and now they make tranquil electro-pop with a bit of shoegaze tossed in. SVIIB‘s third record Ghostory is the first record they have made without Alejandra's twin sister Claudia. Backstage, I get Ben to talk about what the band's name really means, Claudia's abrupt exit from the band, what losing a member can mean to a band and much more. RIP Ben: You will be missed. When I think about this interview, I remember you telling me about the School of Seven Bells track “Reappear” and how it is about the idea of your future self visiting you as a ghost and telling you what will happen to you. Tracks played on the show... 1) School of Seven Bells, Ghostory "The Night" 2) School of Seven Bells, Ghostory "Lafaye" 3) School of Seven Bells, Ghostory "Reappear" NO songs CANCON
