We bring you an episodic homebrew campaign about several Hero of Courage nepo babies "Sliders-ing" across the inbetween periods of Hyrule Historia and it's various Eras! The Legend of Zelda: Links in the Chain Throughout the weaving history of Hyrule, many mysterious and powerful artifacts appear and circulate among Legend. One such item is the Chain of Eras, but it shall be found, not by a singular hero of courage during a time of great cause, as is so often the case. No, it shall come to pass to different sons of the Hero, during times between Legends. Once taken up, it shall bring them together for reasons yet unknown, across time and destiny. They shall be as Links in the Chain. Dave is back in Derry & Toms as we finally turn our attention to Karl Edward Wagner and his towering dark fantasy anti-hero... Kane! We've been talking about doing some KEW for a while now, so what better time than a grim, miserable Yorkshire winter to tackle a chilly werewolf whodunnit. The story, Reflections for the Winter of My Soul, is the first of three in the collection Death Angel's Shadow, and we'll be back at some point in the future to look at the other two. As KEW also wrote an Elric/Kane crossover story called The Gothic Touch, we took a look at that too. The Nightmare of Eveline Shadow was a haunting experience where guests stepped into the nightmarish writings of a horror novelist. They had to navigate a hotel filled with nightmares, while being guided by the narrator's prompts and scripts. The closure of hotels during the pandemic quarantine era created a golden opportunity for a trio of talented creators from the Benelux region. Alexander Gierholz of Logiclocks, Jeroen van Hasselt of Entered, and Meggy Pepelanova came together to create a unique horror experience set in an entire empty wing of a hotel. Alas, they experienced their own nightmare when lockdown regulations became even more restricted. They had to put their experience on hold, and then suddenly regulations lifted entirely, and the hotel began to resume normal operations.
