Growing up in suburban Chicago, a young girl is raised to trust the adults around her. Her church, her school, and her family all feel like safe places. But years later, she learns that two people she once looked up to and loved are accused of horrific crimes against children, forcing her to question everything she thought she knew about trust, faith, and the people closest to her. In episode 417, Jac and Alexis explore Courtney's journey after discovering the truth about her uncle Joseph Stozek and former priest Kevin McBrien, and what it means to reckon with the fact that someone you trusted was capable of unimaginable harm.
Jac brings in true-crime queen Alexis Linkletter — co-host of The First Degree, host of Crimes of Reddit, and author of the upcoming Between the Devil and the Tide — to help unpack a wild, real-life case Keltie has been sitting on. It starts with Tammy, a caftan-clad Bel Air socialite who survived a slow rat-poisoning at the hands of her first husband, and spirals into her second act with a much younger "security guard" named Craig who isolated her from friends, convinced her to sell off her fortune, secretly married her months before she died, and inherited everything. Is Craig a calculated con man or just wildly opportunistic? The girls dig into the red flags, the mysterious ex who called him "dangerous," and how you'd even pull off a poisoning, before Alexis coaches Keltie on how to actually investigate — and turn this into a proper follow-up.We have deals for YOU!!Arya: Want to spice things up in the bedroom? In May 2018, a 25-year-old woman suddenly disappears while living with a childhood friend in Grafton, New Hampshire. Her family immediately knows something is wrong, but for months, they are left searching for answers. Then investigators make a devastating discovery: a small piece of her dismembered body is recovered from a nearby pond. As her loved ones begin uncovering disturbing allegations about what she endured before her death, they push for those responsible to be held accountable. But years later, no one has ever been charged with her murder. In episode 416, Jac and Alexis examine the murder of Trish Haynes, the troubling allegations surrounding her final months, and her family's ongoing fight for answers and justice.
Becca is on cup three of coffee and fully spiraling, but for once it's over her grays, not her wrinkles. The girls debate whether "gray-maxing" à la Sarah Jessica Parker is chic or just expensive, before Becca shares the good news that Ford has fully embraced baby "Little One" (stroller tip-over included — strap your babies in, people). Jac discovers a single hot man in Mission Viejo, accidentally DMs Hannah Berner a dozen unhinged TikToks, and gets newly obsessed with Robert Pattinson's press tour. In August 2017, a newlywed is found shot to death inside a hotel room in Athens, Georgia, while on a road trip with her husband. As investigators begin piecing together her final hours, they uncover text messages, surveillance footage, and other evidence that paint a disturbing picture of what happened. Yet despite a conviction, her story receives very little public attention, leaving many to remember the crime but not the woman at the center of it. In episode 415, Jac and Alexis examine the murder of Casey Woods Devanna, the evidence that led to her killer's conviction, and the life her friends want the world to remember.
A estrada acabou. Gritos, choro, criticas a Moisés. Desafiaram a Deus. “Creia no Senhor teu Deus e você estará seguro. Creia nos profetas dEle e você prosperará”.

Gen X is 1 in 5 Australians and roughly a third of the workforce, and they're leaving. Not always retiring either. Stepping down, going portfolio, consulting, or just saying "I'm done." Jac and Ral are Gen X and together they unpack why Gen X is leaving en masse… Is it the manager? Is it missing purpose? Is it the micromanagement? And for those who don't leave (but wish they could) what are the convenient stories they're telling themselves about why they can't move, for example "it's too late," "I can't afford to" blah blah blah. If you're 46 to 61, or you lead people who are, this one's for you.----Your support helps keep this show going — join us on Patreon.https://tinyurl.com/jacandralpatreonFuture Fluency Indexhttps://www.futurefluencyindex.com/Our upcoming Immersionhttps://tinyurl.com/3j5w3jnyNew Episode Every Monday Follow the show https://www.instagram.com/keepingitrealwithjacandral/https://open.spotify.com/show/5yIs5ncJGvJyXhI55Js0if?si=aCNOdB68QnOGnT0vCTPcPgFollow Jac https://www.linkedin.com/in/jacphillips/https://www.instagram.com/jac.phillips.coaching/Follow Ral https://www.linkedin.com/in/gabrielledolan/https://www.instagram.com/gabrielledolan.1/Produced by Keehlan Ferrari-Brown
Becca pops back on to give the gang a real-time update from the NICU, where baby Meyer is stable and making steady progress but still has to ace her final test: 16 bottles in a row. Becca gets honest about the highs and lows of it all — finding her daily "glimmers" (an underrated Jimmy John's sub, a newly perfected Starbucks order), making herself a Babylist registry, a raw mama-bear moment that left her wrestling with guilt, and how Zach and big brother Ford are holding up. Keltie and Jac hold space for her to feel the hard parts, drop the strong act for a minute, and soak up all the love pouring in from the Lady Gang community.Thank you for supporting our sponsors!Arya: Get $10 off your first month at https://GetArya.com/LADYGANG Clean Simple Eats: Shop the best tasting protein powders at https://CleanSimpleEats.comK18: Need a better shampoo? Jeremias 17:9-10
Over the years, I've been fortunate enough to open for some of the most influential artists in electronic music, including Tiësto, Avicii, Armin van Buuren, John Digweed, Sasha, Above & Beyond, and many more. Not one of those opportunities has ever been taken for granted. Opening the night has never been about showcasing only my own productions or proving what I can do as a DJ and artist. It is about serving the music, respecting the headliner, and creating the right environment for the journey ahead. My job is to read the room, establish the groove, and gradually build the energy through subtle peaks and transitions. By the time the headliner takes the stage, the room should be connected, fully present, and ready to lose its mind. People sometimes ask, “Why aren't you the headliner?” For me, it has never been only about being the name at the top of the flyer. It is about all of us. It is about the music, the artists who have worked incredibly hard to reach that stage, and the people on the dance floor who trust us to take them somewhere. Opening for Above & Beyond has always carried a special meaning. The Anjuna Family represents so much of the foundation that dance music was built upon: peace, love, unity, respect, and a genuine appreciation for the music. Let's also be honest, you know your music. You hear every transition, understand every detail, and recognize every element that shapes the Anjuna sound. Performing not only for Above & Beyond, but for all of you, is a privilege in itself. That was my responsibility on July 31, 2026, at Big Night Live in Boston. From the very first track to the final crescendo, you stayed with me. I could feel your energy, understand where you wanted to go, and build the set around that connection. For me, that was the perfect night. The hugs, kind words, and embraces I received after the set reminded me once again of the incredible power of music. Thank you for trusting me to help begin the journey. I truly cannot express how much that night meant to me. A heartfelt thank-you to my entire team and to the friends who have become family. The New Age movement is more popular than ever. Practices like tarot cards, crystals, manifestation, astrology, energy healing, and spirit guides are often presented as harmless tools for personal growth. But what does the Bible say? In this episode, I sit down with Jac Marino Chen, author of Ensnared: Overcoming the Darkness of the New Age and Occult with the Light of God's Truth, to hear her powerful testimony of how Jesus rescued her from a life immersed in the occult, ritual magick, addiction, and spiritual deception. Jac's explanation of the gospel was so powerful it brought tears to my eyes. I know you'll walk away from this conversation encouraged and reminded that while the occult is real and spiritually dangerous, it is no match for the saving power of Jesus Christ. No one is beyond His reach. God is still breaking through the darkness, setting captives free, and transforming lives by His grace. This week Jac is taking you on a very niche deep dive, so buckle up. We're going all the way down the manosphere rabbit hole via a “hot” viral bakery owner from Phoenix and it's a wild ride. Plus updates on the current D4VD hearings happening this week.
In October 2021, the owner of a beloved dive bar in Everett, Washington is arrested on multiple counts of sexual assault, sending shockwaves through the tight-knit group of patrons that once considered the establishment a second home. As more survivors come forward, investigators uncover a decades-long pattern of abuse, allegations of drugged drinks, child sexual abuse material, and a growing list of victims that transforms a local gathering place into the center of one of the region's most disturbing criminal cases. In episode 413, Jac and Alexis examine the crimes of Christian Sayre, the community that unknowingly surrounded a serial predator, and how a place that held joyful memories for so many became the site of unimaginable trauma for others.
Becca's on baby leave (welcome to the world, little one!), so it's just Keltie and Jac holding down a chaotic, no-holds-barred solo episode. After a quick "good week, bad week"—featuring Jac's backyard glow-up and pergola pride, plus Keltie's ongoing war with her possibly-fraudulent pool guy—Keltie shares a mortifying photo-shoot bathroom disaster that has to be heard to be believed. Then the girls get into their half-yearly manifesting check-in, unpacking everything from being brutally hard on yourself to why chasing "Happiness Mountain" never ends. Keltie opens up about her Today Show appearance, her new book and its nerve-wracking pre-order numbers, her TED talk dream ("what if it's actually good to be bad?"), turning Calle into a traveling dog, and the K-Type Collective. Plus, a pitch for Jac's dream emo-scene spinoff podcast. It's messy, honest, and very, very real. Thank you for supporting our sponsors!Boll & Branch: Need new sheets? On July 29, 2019, police respond to a 911 call from a hotel in Dallas, Texas. There are noise complaints about some guests, but hotel security is reluctant to intervene before police arrive. When the door to room 228 finally opens, officers find a man covered in blood and a 32-year-old woman shot dead on the floor. The man fights back against police before being taken to the hospital, as authorities try to piece together what has happened to result in the death of a dearly loved daughter, sister, and mother of two. When the truth emerges, everyone in the victim's circle is left in a state of disbelief about the circumstances that had led to her death. In episode 412, Jac and Alexis detail the tragic death of Jacqueline Rose Parguian Nicholas and the questions that hover over the man who ended her life, asking whether some punishment is better than no punishment at all.

The conversation covers the tarot-inspired magic system at the heart of the Arcana series, the emotional toll of writing Clara through two brutal book openings, and the deliberate (and not-so-deliberate) tension that keeps Clara and Kaelis apart despite their obvious pull toward each other. Elise also opens up about the themes of fate versus free will driving the series, the lessons about trust and control that Clara learns along the way, and what she hopes readers take from the story without giving away any spoilers. The episode wraps with a look back at Elise's indie roots with Air Awakens and Married to Magic, and what's ahead as she brings those beloved series to a traditional publishing home. Grab your birth chart and settle in. This one's for the tarot girlies and the enemies-to-lovers girlies alike. In June 2006, a 17-year-old spends the evening volunteering with a local haunted house before making plans to spend the next day at the lake with friends. But when those friends arrive to pick him up the following morning, they find the back door of his home kicked in and discover him shot to death in his bedroom. Investigators quickly determine that the killing was targeted, yet they can't identify a motive, a suspect, or even a reason why someone would want the well-liked teenager dead. In episode 411, Jac and Alexis examine the murder of Jeremy "Scotty" Cockrell, the decades-long investigation that followed, and the questions that still haunt his family, friends, and community. President Trump will address the nation Thursday night and initial reports are this will be a scathing takedown of election interference and rigging of the 2020 election. Of course, conservative believers everywhere think this will be the game changer that puts people in prison, changes our election laws forever and leads to a GOP supermajority. I say don't get your hopes up for any of that. You'd better show me something first. US forces pounded Iran for the third day in a row, this time 5 hours of relentless bombing of "maritime assets" near the Strait of Hormuz. Birthright citizenship reform is being introduced in the Senate by Jim Banks and it's a pretty decent plan. Kansas drivers shine in the annual poll of safest in America, not so much for Missouri. In sports, Jac Caglianone was way too excited and amped up for the home run derby contest as his dad painted the corners and repeatedly pitched it out of the zone. Still, Jac's bomb in the upper deck was one for the ages. Patrick Mahomes is no longer the best quarterback in the NFL according to a poll of NFL coaches, scouts and executives. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce got MARRIED - and Keltie and Jac are dropping an emergency Quickie to break down everything (allegedly) about the wedding of the year. From the reported Madison Square Garden takeover and its rumored $2-million-a-day price tag, to the leaked invitation, the star-studded guest list, and the shoes, the dresses, and the vows! Keltie puts on her entertainment-news-journalist hat (two sources required!) while Jac plays the artist-eye critic, and together they get into the guests who showed up—Pete Wentz, Brendan Urie, Selena Gomez, Adam Sandler, Jennifer Lopez, and more—plus the fabulous "not invited" list that's somehow more iconic than the invited one. They cover the Louboutin sneaker change, Abigail's Revolve dress drama, the 40-minute vow rumor, the "TNT Married" sign, the wedding-cake fan frenzy, and that $26 million donation to Dolly Parton's Imagination Library the week before!LadyGang is sponsored by Clean Simple Eats! On October 5, 2018, a 26-year-old man disappears while on a work assignment close to Orogrande, Idaho. The energetic, ambitious production assistant and aspiring film producer is last seen on a TV shoot with his crew before running away into the distance, never to be seen again. A search is quickly mounted for the young man, but despite law enforcement's efforts, no trace of him is found. In the absence of any evidence suggesting what has occurred one way or the other, rumors begin to swirl online, all circling back to the same point - where is he? In episode 410, Jac and Alexis detail the bizarre disappearance of Terrence Shemel Woods Jr, and explore the questions about employers' broader responsibilities when it comes to workplace safety and alleged negligence, resulting in a tragedy that leaves a family without answers.

As loved ones search for answers, they are met with more questions than explanations. Over the years, witnesses come forward, leads emerge, and theories circulate, but the truth about what happened remains unknown. In July 1990, a 13-year-old girl disappears in the early hours after sneaking out to see her twin sister in Killeen, Texas. When she is reported missing, police quickly classify her as a runaway and the case receives little to no investigation, leaving her family without answers and her case to fade into obscurity. But as the years pass, a troubling pattern emerges - one involving abuse allegations, inconsistent witness accounts, and a system that failed to properly follow through. With every new detail, the question of what really happened that night becomes more urgent, and more complicated. Decades later, her younger sister begins digging into the truth, uncovering long-buried information and reigniting an investigation that had gone cold for years. In episode 408, Jac and Lex explore the disappearance of Deanna Merryfield, and her sister Melissa's relentless fight to finally uncover what happened to her.
Keltie opens up about navigating her ADHD diagnosis and Adderall, plus a much-needed caffeine cleanse. Becca shares her 30-day 10,000-step challenge (with a thousand-dollar penalty and one genuinely terrifying nighttime neighborhood sprint). Jac gives an honest, vulnerable update on her upcoming embryo transfer, the appointments, the progesterone shots, and the wild out-of-body feeling of it all. Then Keltie gets vulnerable about feeling burnt out on Hollywood, a soul-filling weekend in the mountains surrounded by kids, and what purpose and joy can look like with or without children. On the morning of February 1, 2008, a man calls his 20-year-old daughter in Charlotte, North Carolina after receiving a disturbing phone call urging him to check on her. But when her father walks inside, he is greeted with a sight no parent should ever have to witness. The young woman's killer is apprehended within hours. But what emerges in the days and weeks after the slaying about the victim's life behind closed doors shocks and appalls everyone who thought they knew her best. And when the killer is identified, this just raises more concerning questions. In episode 406, Jac and Alexis detail the devastating murder of Simrit Kaur Gill at the hands of Amandeep Brar and explore the heartbreak of realizing that, despite how well we think we know people, sometimes we never really do. Until it's too late.
Keltie is dealing with the fallout from her Glamour article about illegal GLP-1s and her facelift (the comments are wild), Becca discovered "old money face" is the new flex (no Botox, no fillers, just generational wealth and gray hair), and Jac is fully obsessed with the hockey romance show Off Campus and the dreamy Belmont Cameli. We also get into the Sharon Stone of it all (keeping fat on your body is the real anti-aging secret), Becca's spider-in-the-bed nightmare that's pushing her to buy a mesh bed tent, Jac's actual nightmare about missing the podcast to be set up with Rob Rausch, Keltie's massive closet clean-out and her new favorite invite-only designer rental app Louvel, and the dental horror story that ends with Keltie staring at a literal hole in her skull on a CT scan.
