Confira:  Alguns homens do meu grupo de estudo bíblico tinham quase 80 anos, e surpreendeu-me saber que lutavam contra a luxúria: uma batalha que travavam desde a juventude. Todos os dias comprometiam-se a seguir Jesus e pediam perdão por suas falhas. Não deveríamos nos chocar ao saber que pessoas piedosas ainda lutam contra desejos vis na fase avançada da vida. Um ídolo é tudo o que ameaça tomar o lugar de Deus em nossa vida, e eles podem aparecer mesmo após acharmos que sumiram. Na Bíblia, Jacó foi salvo de seu tio Labão e de seu irmão Esaú. Ele voltava para Betel para adorar a Deus e celebrar Suas muitas bênçãos, mas sua família ainda mantinha ídolos pagãos que Jacó precisou enterrar (GÊNESIS 35:2-4). Lemos também que, após os israelitas derrotarem seus inimigos e estabelecerem-se em Canaã, Josué ainda os orientava a jogar “fora os falsos deuses […] em seu meio e [voltar] o coração para o Senhor” (JOSUÉ 24:23). Aparentemente a esposa de Davi, Mical, guardava ídolos, pois colocou um em sua cama para enganar os soldados que vieram matá-lo (1 SAMUEL 19:11-16). Os ídolos são mais comuns do que pensamos, e Deus é mais paciente do que merecemos. Os desejos para voltarmos a eles virão, mas o perdão de Deus é maior. Confira:  Bondade ou vingança? Isaías foi atingido na cabeça por um arremesso durante um jogo de beisebol em um campeonato local. Ele caiu no chão segurando a cabeça. Felizmente, o capacete o protegeu de ferimentos graves. Quando o jogo voltou, Isaías notou que o arremessador estava abalado pelo erro não intencional. Então, ele reagiu tão extraordinariamente que o vídeo desta ação viralizou. Isaías caminhou até o arremessador e deu-lhe um abraço acolhedor, garantindo a ele que estava bem. Numa situação que poderia resultar em briga, Isaías escolheu a bondade. No Antigo Testamento, vemos Esaú fazer algo parecido, mas muito mais difícil, ao abandonar seus planos de vingança contra seu irmão gêmeo enganador, Jacó. Quando Jacó voltou para casa após 20 anos no exílio, Esaú escolheu a bondade e o perdão em vez de vingança contra quem o prejudicara. Quando o viu, Esaú “correu ao encontro de Jacó e o abraçou” (GÊNESIS 33:4). Esaú aceitou o pedido de desculpas de Jacó e demonstrou que estava tudo bem (vv.9-11). Quando alguém demonstra remorso por erros cometidos contra nós, temos uma escolha: bondade ou vingança. John Miniotis, President and CEO of AbraSilver Resource Corp (TSX: ABRA) (OTCQX: ABBRF), joins me to review the news out May 6th, announcing the updated Mineral Resource estimate (“MRE”) on the Company's wholly owned Diablillos property in Argentina. We also discuss the news out April 27, 2026 which announced that AbraSilver has received approval of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)  {“Declaración de Impacto Ambiental” or “DIA”} from the Government of Salta Province in Argentina.   The updated MRE demonstrates significant growth across the Project, with Measured & Indicated (“M&I”) resources now totaling 232 million tonnes (“Mt”), containing approximately 248 million ounces (“Moz”) of silver and 2.54 Moz of gold (454 Moz silver-equivalent “AgEq”). The contained metal in M&I has increased by a substantial 25% for silver, 48% for gold and 30% for silver-equivalent since the prior mineral resource estimate (the “Prior MRE”) from July 2025.   The updated MRE incorporates approximately 13,270 metres (“m”) of additional drilling completed since the Prior MRE, bringing the total drilling database at Diablillos to over 170,000 m. The estimate includes mineralization amenable to tank or heap leach processing routes and reflects continued growth across all five deposits at Diablillos - Oculto, JAC, Fantasma, Laderas and Sombra.   We also discussed the upcoming catalysts of the updated, Definitive Feasibility Study (“DFS”), due out here in Q2, followed by a construction decision, and then a string of results to come from the ongoing Phase 6 Exploration Program for the balance of 2026.   At Oculto East, the first drill holes of the Phase VI campaign have further demonstrated the scale and continuity of the overall mineralized system.
