On October 12, 2023, a 25-year-old nursing student goes missing while on her lunch break in Macomb Township, Michigan. NIO announced battery swap partnerships with 8 major automakers between November 2023 and September 2024: Changan, Geely, Chery, JAC, Lotus, GAC, FAW, and Jiyue. William Li compared it to Amazon Web Services, promising to build the world's largest battery swap ecosystem with unified standards and shared infrastructure.But as of November 2025, production vehicles from the battery swap alliance have been significantly delayed. Chery's Exeed models were expected in Q3 2025 and haven't arrived yet, though testing has been confirmed at NIO swap stations. Meanwhile, CATL announced their Choco-Swap ecosystem with nearly 100 partners and aggressive expansion goals: 1,000 stations by end of 2025, 10,000 mid-term, and 30,000 stations long-term. NIO currently operates 3,562 stations after building since 2018.In March 2025, NIO and CATL signed a strategic partnership where CATL would invest up to 2.5 billion yuan in NIO Power and integrate Choco-Swap technology into future Firefly models. But in April 2025, Reuters reported CATL was in talks to acquire a controlling stake in NIO Power, valued at over 10 billion yuan. William Li denied the rumors in a WeChat group, but NIO's official statement only confirmed they're working with multiple investors including CATL.Then in November 2025, William Li said Firefly will NOT integrate with CATL's battery swap network, contradicting the March partnership announcement. John Miniotis, President and CEO of AbraSilver Resource Corp (TSX: ABRA) (OTCQX: ABBRF), joins us to review the next batch of gold and silver drill assays announced October 28th, from the ongoing Phase V exploration program; which has been mostly focused on the Oculto East and JAC zones at their wholly-owned Diablillos property in Salta Province, Argentina.      We review how these results continue to expand oxide-hosted gold mineralization to the east of the Oculto deposit, extending the high-grade gold zone and highlighting the continued strong exploration upside potential across the Diablillos system.   At Oculto East, numerous broad zones of gold and silver mineralization were intercepted, including: DDH 25-073: 10.0 metres ("m") grading 59 g/t silver (from 117 m downhole) & 20.0 m grading 0.66 g/t gold (223 m downhole) DDH 25-074: 31.0 m grading 0.59 g/t gold (from 255 m) DDH 25-075A: 73.0 m grading 0.55 g/t gold (from 277 m), including 13.5 m at 0.83 g/t gold & 16.5 m grading 0.75 g/t gold DDH 25-076: 12 m grading 62 g/t silver (from 128 m downhole) & a very broad, well-mineralized intercept of 180.0 m grading 0.65 g/t gold (from 170 m), including 15.0 m at 1.36 g/t gold DDH 25-077: A high-grade interval of 13.81 g/t gold over 8.5 m from 317 m, and a separate interval of 44.0 m at 0.65 g/t gold from 368 m   The exploration team now believes these higher-grade gold intercepts are just the top of a porphyry deposit at depth, and John highlights that some deeper holes will be testing this in the future, as well as the deeper hole targeting a different porphyry target at Cerro Viejo.   Additionally, we circle back to the Sombra target identified in the Phase IV drill program last year, and how it is possible that there is a parallel trend that could extend from Sombra up to Oculto East, and that more drilling will focus on that thesis in the future.   John takes us through the busy year the company has in front of them due to a series of upcoming catalysts all the way though the end of 2026. There are still thousands of meters of ongoing drilling, testing new areas and stepping out from known mineralization. For nearly ten years, investigators had no clue who killed seven people in the Palatine Brown's Chicken on January 8th of 1993. They followed more than 4,800 leads and arrested several potential suspects, but nothing came of these efforts. The murders of Brown's Chicken employees 16-year-old Michael Castro, 17-year-old Rico Solis, 31-year-old Tom Mennes, 32-year-old Marcus Nellsen, and 47-year-old Lupe Maldonado and owners 49-year-old Lynn Ehlenfeldt and 50-year-old Dick Ehlenfeldt were a tragic mystery. The case remained cold until April of 2002, when Anne Lockette spoke to the authorities. At the time of the crime, her boyfriend, 20-year-old Jim Degorski, and his friend, 18-year-old Juan Luna, robbed the Brown's Chicken, stole $1,800, and told her every detail—but not before threatening Anne's own life. Shortly after 9 p.m. on January 8th of 1993, seven people begin the closing routine for the Brown's Chicken & Pasta restaurant located in Palatine, Illinois. Of the seven people, five are employees: 16-year-old Michael Castro, 17-year-old Rico Solis, 31-year-old Tom Mennes, 32-year-old Marcus Nellsen, and 47-year-old Lupe Maldonado. The other two individuals are the owners: 49-year-old Lynn Ehlenfeldt and her 50-year-old husband, Dick Ehlenfeldt. When two men approach the Brown's Chicken's locked doors after closing, no one is alarmed. Instead, the men are welcomed into the Brown's Chicken. One man orders food, eats a few bites, and discards the rest. Then, that same man pulls out a knife, and his companion reveals a .38 snub-nosed revolver. The men proceed to murder all seven Brown's Chicken workers. For nearly 10 years, investigators searched high and low for these killers. But it wasn't until Anne Lockette spoke up about her violent ex-boyfriend that 20-year-old Jim Degorski, and his friend, 18-year-old Juan Luna, were put away for their crimes. In episode 369, Jac and Alexis work with author and lawyer Patrick Wohl to explain how this needless massacre changed the Palatine community forever and nearly ended the Brown's Chicken franchise.
