This year's Clare Drama Festival is looming large on the horizon. The 76th edition of the event will run from this Saturday, the 22nd of March, to Saturday, the 29th of March inclusive. The festival is one of the oldest festivals in the Amateur Drama Council of Ireland circuit, having started in 1947. Clares' fourth female TD and first from Shannon came into studio to talk about her experiences growing up in Northern Ireland and moving to Shannon at a young age. Always an activist,-Donna got involved in politics and has twice served as a member of the Shannon Municipal District and was re elected last May.
