Then, we transition into a marathon segment where we absolutely lose our minds describing the final two episodes of Gurren Laga…I mean, Darling in The FranXX. It was worth covering all 24 episodes just for this final segment! Afterwards, we detail a few notable anime we watched on the side, and then plunge into our final scores and remarks on each of the 10 shows we followed this season. Bcom, Kat, and Leo are joined by Brains from the Trash Pandas Watch Anime podcast to break down the upcoming Spring 2018 anime season. We go show by show through almost 60 TV anime, and give you the rundown on whether we think they’ll be worth a watch, or at least worth a drunken hate-watch. In doing so, I think we all learned a lot about everyone who took part in this cast. Leo is clearly a manga snob. Kat just wants pretty boys to be healthy and drink more milk. Brains, who has watched over 1,000 anime in his time, has happily accepted moe into his heart as the one truly great genre. And as for Bcom, well, it gets clearer every podcast that he has impeccable taste in anime, and in having that, he’s already won the pretty derby of life.Make sure to stick around for the last part of the episode, where we made some predictions that will likely be very embarrassing for us in a couple months, if not a few weeks.
