200 episodes ago, a group of guys got together to talk about anime every couple of weeks, record those discussions, and upload them to a small corner of the internet that seems to care what a group of would-be's think about all things anime. And 200 episodes later, we're still doing that, just with more refined takes and more realized viewpoints about the whole world at large. It's been quite a journey, and it's a journey we're still traversing through, for better or for worse, and we're glad that you're all here to share this journey with us. So, for the 200th installment, we've got plenty of Dragon Ball related things to talk about, from character popularity rankings and new project announcements, along with a new home for *THE* Ghost in the Shell coming later in the year, and plenty of kvetching about how much Crunchyroll continues to suck. News 3:50: The World’s End Harem: Fantasia manga is back after a lengthy hiatus, and it’ll also be released weekly until the manga ends; meanwhile one series that returned — Kai-Hen Wizards — will go back on hiatus after it returned not too long ago. 6:12: My Unique Skill Makes Me OP even at Level 1 will go on hiatus due to artist Mawata’s health issues; Yūgo Kobayashi’s preparing for the new series that he will launch in Shogakukan’s Weekly Big Comic Spirits magazine, so Fermat no Ryōri is going on a temporary hiatus after its 26th chapter; and Kazue Katō announced that her Blue Exorcist manga is going on hiatus as she prepares the manga’s final chapter — this will also involve some changes in her environment. 8:15: There are two anime that Doga Kobo’s involved in that were planned to come out this year. Well, one’s getting moved to 2027 (Roshidere S2) as Inept Villainess will not air in Spring, it’ll instead air in Summer. 10:35: Terminator Zero Season 1 happened and was watched, but not watched enough, as showrunner Mattson Tomlin announced there will be no more seasons of the anime; The talent agency Intention announced that voice actor Kenichi Suzumura is going on hiatus to recover from adjustment disorder. Rejugando 289 – Nintendo Direct, Code Vein 2 y la industria en cifras En este episodio 289 de Rejugando nos metemos de lleno en una de las semanas más cargadas de actualidad del año. Arrancamos comentando el Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase, analizando con calma qué supone realmente para Nintendo Switch 2: una apuesta clara por el apoyo third party, un calendario con muchas fechas cercanas y una sensación general de transición hacia una consola que empieza a recibir juegos “de generación actual”. Repasamos uno a uno todos los anuncios del Direct, desde The Adventures of Elliot: The Millenium Tales, que se posiciona como uno de los grandes RPG del año con demo, fecha y ediciones físicas confirmadas, hasta recopilatorios como Super Bomberman, el regreso de Captain Tsubasa, la presencia de eFootball, propuestas narrativas como Paranormasight, indies experimentales como Tokyo Scramble y una avalancha de RPG japoneses con Digimon Story Time Stranger, Granblue Fantasy Relink, Monster Hunter Stories 3 y títulos de Falcom. Uno de los anuncios más comentados del programa es la llegada de Final Fantasy VII Rebirth a Nintendo Switch 2, un movimiento clave que abre el debate técnico y estratégico: cómo se adaptará uno de los juegos más exigentes de la generación y qué significa para los jugadores que solo están en el ecosistema Nintendo.
