Enostavna sladica iz biskvita je lahko rulada. Potrebujemo jajca, sladkor in moko. Na eno jajce eno žlico sladkorja in eno žlico moke ter nožev vrh pecilnega praška. Za en pekač pripravimo biskvit iz 4-5 jajc. Najprej naredimo sneg, dodamo sladkor, nato pa rumenjake. Miksamo 2-3 minute. Nato metlice vzamemo v roko in v velikih obratih zamešamo moko s pecilnim praškom. Nekaj moke lahko nadomestimo z žlico ali dvema orehov, dodamo lahko tudi malo cimeta. Maso vlijemo na dobro namazan in pomokan ali s peki papirjem obložen pekač (peki papir še pomažemo z nekaj kapljicami olja). To pečemo 10 minut pri 200 °C. Še vroče ločimo od robov pekača in pustimo, da s malo ohladi, nato pa obrnemo na pladenj ali desko. Lahko naredimo tudi biskvit, kjer na eno jajce vzamemo 2 žlici sladkorja, 2 žlici moke in 2 žlici olja. Prav tako najprej naredimo sneg, dodamo sladkor in rumenjake ter olje (lahko je pol olivnega in pol sončničnega). Z metlico v roki zamešamo še moko s pecilnim praškom. Lahko dodamo še malo naribane limonine lupine. Maso zlijemo na namazan pekač z višjimi stranicami in dodamo še narezano sveže sadje ali pa iz kompota. Pečemo 15-20 minut. Sladico v obeh primerih navlažimo s sadnim sokom in namažemo z marmelado. Rolado ob slovesnostih lahko oblijemo s čokolado ali okrasimo s stepeno sladko smetano in na vrhu dodamo narezano sadje.

Alle due e dieci di notte Pietro Maso, un ragazzo di 19 anni, suonò alla porta di una casa. Disse: «È successo qualcosa, sono rientrato ora e ho visto due gambe oltre la porta…». Iniziò così una delle storie di cronaca che più hanno segnato gli anni Novanta: l'omicidio di una coppia, Antonio Maso e Rosa Tessari, da parte del figlio Pietro e di tre suoi amici. Le indagini furono veloci: i quattro ragazzi, uno dei quali minorenne, avevano lasciato tracce evidenti. Il duplice omicidio suscitò fortissima emozione in tutta Italia con lunghe analisi e discussioni negli studi televisivi e sui giornali, soprattutto per il movente dichiarato dai quattro esecutori del delitto: l'eredità dei coniugi Maso che avrebbe garantito al figlio Pietro e ai suoi amici-complici la possibilità di mantenere un alto tenore di vita. Fu soprattutto la figura del figlio delle due vittime, Pietro, a essere al centro dell'attenzione pubblica.
