What is the Holy Spirit's role in sharing the gospel? In this message see that the power in evangelism comes from the Word of God. Our responsibility is to communicate clearly that salvation is a free gift received by faith alone in Christ alone. We don't have to know every answer to every question we are asked. Why did God judge Israel in the book of Amos? In this message we see how Israel rejected God's gracious provision, silenced His prophets, and rebelled against His covenant. Their privilege brought accountability, and military strength could not protect them from divine discipline. Through Amos, God sounded a warning like a roaring lion. These passages remind us that God is faithful to His Word, including its promised consequences, and challenge us to listen carefully to what He has said.

What does “comfort” mean in the Bible? This study explains that biblical comfort includes encouragement, exhortation, and consolation that focus us on trusting the Lord through adversity. Our relationship with God and His Word is the source of that comfort. After learning first that eternal salvation, justification by faith alone, is only by faith alone in Christ alone, the question arises: doesn't this understanding of grace mean that we can sin all we want with impunity? The answer is no. This raises the question of accountability. What accountability is there? We are mandated in Scripture to “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (2 Pet. 3:18a). Recently, a well-known political pundit has made the claim that he was “attacked by a demon” while he slept one night. He claimed he was “clawed” by this demon. No picture or other attempt to document this was provided. This has given rise to speculations about demon-possession especially regarding several other pundits who have shifted to a strong anti-Israel and anti-Semitic stance in recent years. Could they be demon-possessed? Only Scripture provides answers to these questions. In this lesson we study the biblical difference between demon influence and demonic possession. We learn about the traps people fall into when they base such claims on human experience, emotions, or speculation. In one sense all ideas, philosophies, opinions, beliefs contrary to Scriptural truth are ultimately sourced from Satanic/demonic influence. Anti-Semitism is one of the most toxic of Satan's evil schemes, designed to destroy God's people, Israel, whom God identifies as “the apple of His eye.” Learn what that means. We also learn that Satan is the “father of lies” and the ultimate counterfeiter of truth. Satan can even counterfeit demon possession, even deceiving numerous Christians, pastors, and theologians into thinking a believer in Christ can be indwelt by a demon. What is the difference between a believer and a disciple of Jesus Christ? In this lesson learn that every disciple of Christ is a believer, but not every believer in Jesus is a disciple. After hearing the gospel of Jesus and believing by faith alone in the Person and work of Christ alone, God gives a person salvation as a free gift. Jesus paid the penalty for every sin, and eternal life cannot be lost. After the initial moment of salvation (regeneration), believers face the daily decision to follow Him. Being a disciple means learning His Word, submitting to His authority, and putting Him first. How should believers understand God's judgment when a nation turns from His truth? Recognize God's sovereign authority over Israel and the nations and His righteous standard for every judgment. Submit your thinking to Scripture rather than human philosophies or cultural assumptions. Remember Israel's unique covenant relationship with God and the consequences promised for disobedience. Examine your own life for arrogance, idolatry, and rebellion against His Word. Walk humbly before the Lord, trusting His justice, faithfulness, and sovereign control over history. What does Scripture mean by “comfort one another?” What is the ultimate source of comfort? How does comforting one another relate to God's methods of maturing believers? How should we mentally and spiritually handle these “tests of faith”? In this lesson we begin to explore what the Scriptures teach regarding how we face the adversities of life and how we should be comforted and comfort others. We also begin to develop how we as believers should understand the connection between adversity, testing, joy, endurance, and spiritual growth. Also we learn some practical guidelines for how we are to endure and remain steadfast in tests as examples to others.

What gives life lasting meaning when everything under the sun is fleeting? Remember your Creator and recognize His authority over every season of life. Trust His sovereignty, walk according to His Word, and receive His gifts with thanksgiving. Fear God and keep His commandments, knowing that your works and opportunities matter for eternity. Make the most of the brief “dash” you have been given, live for Christ, and finish strong for the glory of God.

Why does God allow trials in my life? Ecclesiastes 6:10–11:10 teaches believers how to live wisely in an uncertain, upside-down world. Trials can produce humility, wisdom, and spiritual growth, while prosperity should be enjoyed as God's gift. Because life is short and unpredictable, we should guard our character, accept correction, avoid foolish extremes, submit wisely to authority, and trust God when circumstances make no sense. Death reminds us to enjoy daily blessings, love our families, and work diligently. Wisdom is better than strength, yet success is never guaranteed. Therefore, believers today should act faithfully despite uncertainty, rejoice in God's gifts, and humbly worship and revere God for His greatness, goodness, and grace.

Ecclesiastes 3:16–6:9 reveals the realities of life in an upside down world. We cannot control injustice (Ecc. 3:16–22), and we cannot escape the world's brokenness (Ecc. 4), including oppression, envy, loneliness, and the fleeting nature of success. We cannot manipulate God through careless worship or empty promises (Ecc. 5:1–7), nor can we find lasting satisfaction in wealth (Ecc. 5:8–6:9). Human labor, wisdom, possessions, and accomplishments cannot satisfy the soul. Solomon therefore challenges us to stop chasing what we do not have and gratefully enjoy what God has already provided, trusting Him amid life's injustice, uncertainty, and brokenness.

If we can't control what happens in life, how can we trust that God is still in control and that our lives have meaning? Ecclesiastes 3 reminds us that life unfolds through changing seasons, often beyond our control. Circumstances change, kingdoms rise and fall, and our plans do not always succeed, but God never changes. God remains forever on his throne. Because God is sovereign (in control with full authority), just, and good, we can trust Him even when we cannot understand His purpose or see what He is doing. Rather than looking to work, relationships, possessions, or accomplishments for lasting fulfillment, we can receive them gratefully as gifts from God. He has placed eternity in our hearts, pointing us beyond this temporary world toward what lasts forever. Therefore, when life does not follow our plans, when our calendar and schedule don't align with God's perfect timing, we can walk by faith, revere God, trust His promises, and confidently rest in His unchanging character.

Why should God's people remain confident when the world seems consumed by conflict and uncertainty? Amos 1 and 2 remind us that God is always in control, even when the world is filled with violence, injustice, and uncertainty. He sees everything that happens, judges every nation with perfect justice, and remains faithful to every promise He has made. Because God rules over all people and all nations, believers do not have to live in fear. Instead, we can trust His sovereign plan, rest in His faithful care, and find confidence in His unchanging character. As we study His Word, our faith grows stronger and we are better prepared to stand faithfully, no matter what the future brings. What does it mean to belong to the body of Christ? Belonging to the body of Christ means that every believer is part of God's family and has a unique place in His church. Christians are not meant to live the Christian life alone. God wants us to grow through the teaching of His Word, encourage one another, and use our gifts to serve others with love, grace, and truth. As we look forward to Christ's return, we should live with eternal priorities, faithfully serving Him and pointing others to Him every day.

What is the gospel—and are you certain you can explain it from Scripture? Rejoice that God saves sinners by grace through faith in Christ alone, apart from works or human effort. Reject every counterfeit message that adds conditions to the free gift of salvation. Trust the Holy Spirit to use the truth of God's Word as you proclaim the good news with confidence. The ancient world around Israel was saturated with the idol worship representing gods of sex, money, power, and war. Both the Southern Kingdom of Judah and the Northern Kingdom of Israel succumbed to these temptations, but the worst was the Northern Kingdom of Israel. Pastor Arnold challenges the Calvinist doctrine of Limited Atonement. Drawing from Scripture, he argues that Christ died for all people, not only the "elect," and that Christ's atonement is unlimited in its provision, yet conditioned upon faith for its application. The presentation examines key biblical passages often used in debates over the extent of the atonement and contrasts Calvinist interpretations (TULIP) with a Free Grace perspective (LOTUS). Arnold contends that the doctrine of "Total Atonement" better reflects God's love, justice, and universal offer of salvation.
