This week on the Sports Leader, the conversation turned to the Giants' bullpen woes, which have been a major storyline all season. The team's inability to close out games in the ninth inning has been a consistent issue. Susan Slusser, a veteran journalist from the San Francisco Chronicle, joined the show to discuss the team's struggles and the impact of recent controversies on the organization. The Giants have been plagued by a lack of a true closer, and it's not just a matter of one or two bad outings. The team's bullpen has been a weakness all season, and it's hard to see them making a deep playoff run without a reliable ninth-inning arm. Susan Slusser weighed in on the team's decision-making and the potential long-term effects on free agent signings. She also discussed the recent Pride Night controversy and how it may impact the team's ability to attract top talent. The conversation also touched on the impressive performance of Victor Bericoto, a Venezuelan rookie who has been making waves with his impressive hitting despite the tragic circumstances surrounding his family. Susan shared her thoughts on how the team can balance playing time for Bericoto with other key players like Casey Schmitt.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

How do you know when it's time to let go of a dream… and when it's time to keep holding on? In this deeply moving coaching session, Christine works with Asa, who has spent the last 18 months wrestling with one of the biggest decisions of her life: whether to have a second child. Her heart longs for another baby—for the chance to experience motherhood again, to give her son a sibling, and to hold onto a season of life she isn't ready to say goodbye to. But her reality tells a different story. Between health challenges, stress in her marriage, financial concerns, aging parents, and feeling emotionally depleted, Asa wonders if the loving choice might actually be to let go of the dream. As the conversation unfolds, Christine gently uncovers something even deeper: perhaps the longing for another child isn't only about another baby. Perhaps it's also a longing to nurture the part of herself that never fully got to be a child. Together they explore emotional depletion, inner child healing, motherhood, grief, and why making major life decisions from exhaustion often leads us further away from ourselves. If you've ever felt stuck in indecision, struggled to trust your intuition, or wondered whether you're yearning for something external that's actually pointing you inward, this episode will offer clarity and compassion. Press play to discover why the most important life you may need to nurture right now is your own. Consider / Ask Yourself Is there a major life decision you've been avoiding because you're afraid of making the "wrong" choice? Are you making decisions from a place of depletion or from a place of wholeness? Do you feel responsible for taking care of everyone else while neglecting yourself? What part of you is asking to be nurtured before you take your next big step? Key Insights and A-Ha's Indecision often creates more emotional exhaustion than making a conscious choice. Sometimes the longing for something external points to an unmet need within. Self-mothering is an essential part of healing—especially for caregivers and parents. Emotional depletion makes it difficult to hear your intuition clearly. The most loving decision is often the one that honors your current capacity, not your expectations. How to Deepen the Work Notice where you're trying to force clarity instead of creating the conditions for clarity to emerge. Ask yourself what your inner child truly needs right now—not what you think you "should" be doing. Create space to replenish your physical, emotional, and relational well-being before making major life decisions. Practice offering yourself the same compassion and care you naturally give to others. Clearing the Noise to Accelerate Execution In a world driven by intentional clutter, endless to-do lists, and over-engineered applications, hosts Mark Cardone and Theron Feidt dedicate this milestone episode to the ultimate success filter: Simplicity. True genius isn't creating a concept that looks dense and complicated just to confuse people; genius is the ability to boil massive ideas down to their absolute core so they can be seamlessly executed. Whether you are running an elite martial arts dojo or structuring a scaling enterprise, complicating your process is a mask for hiding a lack of clarity. In this tactical blueprint, Mark and Theron outline how to aggressively pare down your thoughts, your schedule, and your core mission so you can stop wasting critical energy and start moving the needle. Key Frameworks & Action Steps Action Step 1: Establish Simplicity of Thought (Sharpen the Signal) When your mind is constantly flooded with shallow inputs, your decision-making agility cracks. Achievers purposefully install mental filters to quiet the noise and gain immediate clarity. The One-Question Filter: Before pulling the trigger on a new initiative or micro-task, run it through this unshakeable lens: "Does this active decision explicitly move my result?" If the answer isn't a hard yes, it is an engineered distraction. The 20-Minute Input Blackout: Dedicate a non-negotiable window every single day to complete sensory silence. Turn off your notifications, shut down the news, and step away from all streaming content. Give your brain the tactical margin it needs to digest information and solve deep problems. If twenty minutes makes you nervous, start with ten—but pull the plug on the noise. The Top 3 Rule: Stop working off an exhaustive to-do list of twenty items. If everything is important, nothing is. Limit your active daily focus to your Top 3 Priorities at one time. Once those are finished, you can cleanly pull secondary items into your priority bucket. Action Step 2: Implement Simplicity of Action (Lighten the Load) High productivity is not about adding more busywork to an already bursting calendar; it is about aggressively removing low-value friction so your focus can compound. Plan the Night Before: Never enter your morning on the defensive. Before your head hits the pillow, identify the single highest-impact action step that will move the needle tomorrow. Schedule it first so you hit the ground running without burning precious willpower on trivial morning choices. The D.E. Filter (Delegate or Eliminate): Conduct an aggressive operational audit using the classic A-B-C-D-E time matrix guidelines: Delegate (The 80% Rule): If a team member can handle an essential task at least 80% as effectively as you, hand it off immediately. Free yourself up to operate exclusively in your highest strategic zone. Eliminate: Ruthlessly locate the deep habits and activities that do not actively serve your vision, business growth, or relationships, and permanently erase them from your schedule. Action Step 3: Simplify Your Purpose (The Decision Compass) Fulfillment requires a streamlined North Star. If you cannot describe why your business or character exists in a clear, brief sentence, your daily execution will default to chaos. The One-Sentence Purpose Statement: Reject long, paragraph-length corporate mission statements that read beautifully but mean nothing in active practice. Boil your overarching vision down to a crisp, concise, single sentence (e.g., "Team Leader," "Joy Bringer"). The Mirror Reminder: Take your purpose sentence and physically anchor it to your environment—write it boldly across your bathroom mirror. Successful people do not need to be taught what to do, but they do require sharp, immediate daily reminders of who they are choosing to be. Speak It Out Loud on Hard Days: When operations hit an inevitable speed bump and frustration peaks, stand in front of the mirror, change your posture, and clearly speak your purpose statement out loud to the room. Hearing your own voice declare your absolute coordinates cuts through emotional clutter and instantly resets your trajectory. "Simplicity is the canvas of peak performance. When you complicate your thinking, you anchor your execution. Pick your Top 3 needle-movers today, cut the noise, and execute." Tuesday of the Twelfth Week in Ordinary Time - Probing Divine Mysteries

Read OnlineJesus said to his disciples: “Do not give what is holy to dogs, or throw your pearls before swine, lest they trample them underfoot, and turn and tear you to pieces.” Matthew 7:6Today's Gospel contains one of Christ's more difficult teachings. At first glance, His words seem harsh. Yet they reveal a profound truth: the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven require a heart properly disposed to receive them. Divine truths are not to be offered indiscriminately, especially to those who would treat them with scorn or hostility. Faith is essential to receive and understand the deeper mysteries of God. Jesus expressed a similar principle at the Last Supper when He told the Twelve: “I have much more to tell you, but you cannot bear it now. But when he comes, the Spirit of truth, he will guide you to all truth” (John 16:12–13).Though Jesus, as the eternal Word of God, possessed perfect and complete knowledge of divine truth, He did not reveal everything to His disciples all at once. Had He done so, they might have been overwhelmed. Even His closest followers often struggled to grasp His teachings, misunderstanding His words and resisting difficult truths. Yet Christ unveils the mysteries of His Kingdom gradually, according to each person's ability to receive them. The divine mysteries are so deep, vast, and profound that we will only fully comprehend them when we behold God face to face in the Beatific Vision. Until then, His deeper truths remain veiled. This does not mean we should cease seeking them; rather, as we grow in faith and knowledge of God, He lifts the veil little by little, drawing us closer to Himself. As we progress in holiness, He perfects within us the spiritual Gift of Wisdom, which ultimately deepens our love for Him.The pearls Jesus refers to symbolize these divine mysteries—treasures of divine Wisdom that must be sought, cherished, and received with reverence. This principle of gradual revelation is also seen in the ministry of Saint Paul. After his dramatic conversion, Paul received extraordinary spiritual insights, yet he recognized that his listeners were not always ready for the fullness of divine teaching. To the Corinthians, he wrote: “Brothers, I could not talk to you as spiritual people, but as fleshly people, as infants in Christ. I fed you milk, not solid food, because you were unable to take it” (1 Corinthians 3:1–2).Like Saint Paul, when God grants us glimpses of His divine Wisdom, we must treasure these revelations, ponder them in faith, and allow Him to deepen His communication with us. At the same time, as we share our faith with others, we must be mindful of their openness and capacity to receive what is holy—the pearls of divine truth. Though the saving message of the Gospel must be preached to all, the deepest mysteries are attained only through prayer and an interior receptivity to grace. When Jesus warns, “Do not give what is holy to dogs, or throw your pearls before swine…”, He is not discouraging evangelization. Rather, He is teaching us that not everyone is immediately receptive to the hidden mysteries of the Gospel. Some might reject it outright, treat it with indifference, or even respond with hostility. Thus, just as Saint Paul recognized the need to nourish spiritual infants with milk, not solid food, we too must exercise prudence in sharing the deepest divine truths, ensuring that they are offered in a way that hearts are prepared to receive. Reflect today on your own openness to God's eternal truth. Are you like an infant in need of spiritual milk? If so, drink that milk eagerly, allowing it to nourish your soul. As you mature in faith, devote more time to prayerful contemplation of God's Word, seeking His wisdom with a receptive heart. If God entrusts you with the role of feeding others, do so with love and gentleness, discerning the pearls God wants you to share. Only by first being receptive ourselves will we be prepared to be the instruments and evangelists that God calls us to be. Lord of Eternal Wisdom, the mysteries of faith are vast and beyond my comprehension without Your grace. Draw me ever closer to You, unveiling Your hidden presence and the precious pearls of Your Truth. Deepen my understanding, that I may ponder Your mysteries with a receptive heart. As I grow in faith, use me as You will to nourish others according to their need, leading them ever deeper into Your divine Wisdom. In this episode of Deepen with Christina, host Christina Weber explores the transformative power of Nonviolent Communication (NVC) with NVC teacher and author Micah Salaberrios. Broadcasting from the wellness and podcasting mecca of Austin, Texas, Micah shares how a high-stakes conflict on a documentary set introduced him to "emergency empathy"—and how it completely changed his life. This conversation acts as a practical masterclass for anyone looking to eliminate verbal volatility, own their emotional triggers, and use communication to build unbreakable relational bonds. Main Topics Covered From Volatility to Mastery: How Micah transformed his childhood exposure to verbal volatility into a professional superpower. The "Emergency Empathy" Breakthrough: A real-world breakdown of the exact moment NVC saved a failing professional partnership. The Four-Step NVC Framework: Understanding the classic progression: Observable Fact → Authentic Feeling → Core Preference/Desire → Specific Request. Ditching Fake Feelings: Why phrases like "I feel disrespected" or "I feel cornered" are actually weaponized judgments in disguise. The Power of "Emergency Empathy": How asking a triggered partner specific, one-two combo questions ("Are you feeling [X] because of [Y]?") bypasses fight-or-flight and de-escalates rage instantly. The Illusion of "I feel as if...": Why eliminating passive-aggressive grammatical traps is vital for true authenticity. Tone Over Text: Acknowledging that vocal tone carries more emotional data than the actual words we choose. Aligning with Conscious Pillars: How NVC directly integrates into the WeDeepen Love Club's four core pillars of conscious relationships. Key Takeaways You Are the Catalyst, Not the Cause: No one is responsible for how you feel, and you are not responsible for anyone else's feelings. Blaming others gives away your personal power. Ego Is the Enemy of Empathy: True "emergency empathy" requires you to temporarily step out of your own identity and step into your partner's shoes—something the ego will fight tooth and nail to prevent. Specificity Tames the Beast: Avoid broad questions like "How are you feeling?" when someone is upset. Instead, use a specific guess about their inner world to give them something concrete to anchor to. Unresolved Issues Leak: If you don't use clean communication to sweep small issues out from under the rug, they will inevitably leak out through your body language, sighing, and tone. What if keeping the peace is actually keeping you from being fully yourself? In this heartfelt and empowering coaching session, Christine works with Emily, who is preparing to release her first book—a deeply personal guide about becoming an intentional, loving grandparent called Don't Skip the Party. But instead of celebration, Emily is met with silence and defensiveness from her mother. As her mom reads the book through the lens of her own regrets and perceived shortcomings, Emily finds herself pulled back into a familiar role: making sure everyone else is okay, even at the expense of her own truth. Together, Christine and Emily unpack one of the most common generational patterns many women carry—the belief that love means managing other people's emotions. The conversation explores boundaries, codependency, family dynamics, and the difference between truth spoken with love versus sacrificing yourself to keep others comfortable. If you've ever felt responsible for a parent's happiness, struggled to set loving boundaries, or found yourself shrinking your truth to avoid upsetting others, this episode will resonate deeply. Press play to discover why letting people have their feelings may be one of the most loving things you can do—for them and for yourself.    Consider / Ask Yourself Do you feel responsible for keeping peace within your family? Are you uncomfortable when people are upset with you? Do you soften your truth or hold yourself back to avoid disappointing others? Have you confused love with self-sacrifice?   Key Insights and A-Ha's Love does not require managing another person's emotions. Boundaries are not rejection—they are an act of self-respect and honesty. Protecting people from discomfort can sometimes prevent their growth. Breaking generational patterns means changing your role in the family dynamic—not forcing others to change theirs. Truth and love belong together. At some point, most of us have stood on the edge of a new chapter — a divorce, a move, a loss, a reinvention — and felt the quiet, aching realization that we have no one to call. Not no one, exactly. But no one close enough. No one present. No one who really knows the texture of your everyday life. That loneliness isn't weakness. And according to author Alex Alexander, it isn't permanent either. But fixing it requires unlearning almost everything society has told us about what friendship is supposed to look like.In this episode of A Fresh Story: Book Talk, Olivia sits down with her longtime friend and fellow community-builder Alex Alexander to celebrate the release of Alex's debut book, Are We Friends Yet? How to Deepen Your Relationships and Create the Community You Need. Alex didn't set out to write a book — she set out to write 40 pages. What she discovered in the process were two foundational frameworks that had been quietly shaping her entire life's work: the idea that we aren't looking for one perfect person to fill every role, but a whole constellation of people, each showing up in the specific way that only they can. Alex's own origin story is woven into every page. She was the kid who desperately needed more adults in her corner, who felt the weight of having no one to turn to — and who eventually, through rock bottom moments and radical openness, built herself a family out of friends. What makes this conversation — and this book — so essential for anyone navigating a life transition is how radically it reframes what it means to belong. Alex dismantles the myth of scarcity that runs through so much of how we talk about adult friendship ("finding a good friend is like finding a four-leaf clover"). She makes space for the online friend, the long-distance friend, the friend who shows up at 10 p.m. with a crisis script for a devastating text. She talks about the "do less list" — a permission slip to stop performing friendship in ways that drain you, and start showing up in the ways that actually fit your life. If you've ever wondered whether you'll ever really find your people, this book will convince you that you already have more than you know — and show you exactly how to build more.

Welcome to the Heal and Restore Podcast with Randy and Cathy Boyd—where we dive into real conversations that help you heal, grow, and strengthen your relationships. In today's episode, “Campfire Conversations: Questions That Deepen Connection,” we're talking about the power of slowing down, leaning in, and creating meaningful conversations with the people we love. There is something special about sitting around a campfire. The pace slows. The distractions fade. People begin to relax, open up, listen, laugh, and share from the heart. A campfire has a way of creating space for connection—not because everything is perfect, but because people feel safe enough to be present with one another. Many relationships do not grow distant because people stop loving each other. Often, they grow distant because meaningful conversations slowly get replaced by schedules, responsibilities, stress, screens, assumptions, and surface-level communication. We may talk about bills, work, kids, calendars, or problems, but forget how to ask the deeper questions that help us truly know one another. In this episode, we're going to unpack how thoughtful questions can deepen emotional connection, rebuild trust, and invite greater understanding in marriage, family, friendships, and community. We'll talk about why listening matters just as much as asking, how emotional safety creates space for honesty, and how simple conversations can become powerful moments of healing and restoration. We'll also share practical questions you can use around the dinner table, on a walk, during a date night, with your family, or even around an actual campfire. These questions are designed to help you move beyond “How was your day?” and into conversations that build closeness, curiosity, laughter, vulnerability, and connection. If you have ever felt disconnected from your spouse, distant from your children, unsure how to start a meaningful conversation, or simply hungry for deeper connection with the people you love, this conversation is for you.Our prayer is that this episode will encourage you to slow down, ask better questions, listen with an open heart, and rediscover the gift of being truly present with one another, one conversation at a time.

Alyson draws on her background as an art historian and her own current investigation into timelines to show what this actually looks like in practice. Alyson reveals: Why "I've always been drawn to this" isn't a good enough answer, and what happens when you push past it The difference between work that is beautiful and work that is about something Why you mustn't research to find the right or best answer, and why you cannot rely on Google and AI for a true research practice How a serious inquiry practice changes your artist statement, collector conversations, and confidence in the work What it means to make curiosity a practice rather than a phase you move through before a project begins Read more and get links and resources on the extensive companion post. Artificial Intelligence is often positioned as the great democratiser of knowledge. But could it also widen existing inequalities?   In this episode of Hub & Spoken, Jason Foster is joined by Dipi McKernan, Chief Controls Officer at Lloyds Banking Group, to explore the intersection of AI and social mobility.   Drawing on her own journey and extensive work championing socioeconomic diversity, Dipi shares why social mobility remains a significant challenge across financial and professional services, despite growing awareness and progress. Together, Jason and Dipi discuss how AI could create new opportunities by opening access to knowledge, learning, mentoring and career development that were previously out of reach for many.   But they also examine the risks. As AI reshapes the workforce, what happens to entry-level roles that traditionally provide experience and pathways into leadership? Could bias, unequal access to technology, and a lack of diversity among those building AI systems reinforce existing barriers?   This is a thoughtful conversation about the future of work, opportunity, and the responsibility leaders, educators and organisations have to ensure AI helps create a fairer future rather than a more divided one.

What happens when you finally find the healthy relationship you've always wanted... and your nervous system doesn't know what to do with it? In this deeply compassionate coaching session, Christine works with Sydney, who has found herself in the healthiest and most emotionally supportive relationship of her life. Her partner is stable, trustworthy, and committed—everything she once hoped for. So why does she still feel anxious? Why does part of her still expect abandonment, betrayal, or heartbreak? As the conversation unfolds, Sydney begins to recognize that her fears aren't coming from her current relationship. They're coming from old wounds. Growing up with an emotionally unavailable mother and a father who left, her nervous system learned early that love wasn't safe and connection couldn't be trusted. Now, even though her present-day reality is different, those old protective patterns continue to activate whenever intimacy deepens. Together, Christine and Sydney explore self-abandonment, dissociation, vulnerability, receptivity, and what it truly means to feel safe enough to receive love. If you've ever found yourself pulling away from healthy love, questioning a good relationship, or feeling anxious when things are actually going well, this episode will help you understand why. Press play to discover how old survival strategies may be keeping you from fully receiving the love you've worked so hard to create.    Consider / Ask Yourself Do you become anxious when relationships start feeling safe and secure? Do you find yourself expecting abandonment even when there is no evidence something is wrong? Were your emotional needs consistently met as a child? Do you struggle to receive love, support, compliments, affection, or intimacy?   Key Insights and A-Ha's Safe relationships can feel unfamiliar—and therefore unsafe—to a nervous system wired for unpredictability. Self-abandonment often begins when emotional needs go unmet in childhood. Vulnerability is not the same as neediness. Receptivity requires safety, embodiment, and trust. Many anxiety patterns are protective strategies that once served a purpose but are no longer necessary.   How to Deepen the Work Notice when you are reacting from present-day reality versus past experiences. Practice validating your triggers rather than criticizing yourself for having them. Explore ways to reconnect with your body through grounding and nervous system regulation practices. Allow yourself to express and process emotions instead of pushing them away or dissociating from them.   Social Media + Resources:  Christine Hassler — Take a Coaching Assessment Christine Hassler Podcasts Including Coaches Corner Christine on Facebook Expectation Hangover by Christine Hassler @ChristineHassler on Twitter @ChristineHassler on Instagram @SacredUnionCouples on Instagram Email: jill@christinehassler.com — For information on any of my services! What happens when sinful humanity encounters a God who is perfectly holy, pure, and described in Scripture as a consuming fire? Who can stand before such awesome holiness? God's holiness is not merely a theological concept, but a reality that demands reverence. In Episode 11 of "The Fear of the Lord," Duane Sheriff teaches that we can only stand in God's presence by grace through faith in the atoning work of Jesus Christ. For those who accept God's mercy, this same consuming fire becomes refreshing rather than tormenting. The Bible's imagery of the three Hebrew children thrown into the fiery furnace illustrates how God's fire burns away bondage while preserving those who trust in Him.This message also addresses sobering biblical truths about judgment, hell, salvation, and the wrath from which Jesus came to save us. Hell was never created for humanity, but God lovingly made a way through Christ so that no one would perish. Through repentance and faith in Jesus, we can receive eternal life and stand confidently in God's presence. What does it really mean to fear God in a culture that demands tolerance for virtually everything? Are Christians ever called to hate—and if so, what? In Episode 9 of The Fear of the Lord, Duane Sheriff explains that Scripture clearly teaches there are things God hates, and that a proper fear of the Lord requires us to hate what He hates and love what He loves.Drawing from Proverbs, Psalms, and Romans, Duane teaches that the fear of the Lord is “to hate evil”—not people. He explains how modern culture's mantra of tolerance creates a deceptive progression from compromise to acceptance, then celebration, and ultimately the legislation of evil. The life and ministry of Jesus reveal that Christ was full of love and mercy toward sinners, yet never tolerated or excused sin. Jesus forgave, healed, and restored, while also commanding, “Go and sin no more.”This message brings clarity to the confusion between biblical love and cultural “love.” True love does not celebrate iniquity. Today's “love is love” is a counterfeit of the truth that “God is love.” Deepen your understanding of the fear of the Lord as a reverent hatred of evil that protects, purifies, and aligns our hearts with God's in an age of moral confusion.Click for FREE offer ➡️https://pastorduane.com/landing/the-fear-of-the-lord

What if the thing holding you back isn't a lack of confidence—but a fear of being seen? In this powerful and emotional coaching session, Christine works with Victoria, who feels called to step into a more authentic and public version of herself through a new creative venture. Although she has already achieved success in her current career, she feels increasingly disconnected from the life she truly wants to be living. The problem isn't a lack of passion. The problem is the overwhelming fear that comes with being visible. As Victoria explores her desire to become a content creator and inspire women to build their dream lives, deeper layers begin to emerge. Childhood criticism, perfectionism, fear of judgment, and the pressure to "get it right" have all created an internal protector that would rather keep her safe than allow her to be fully expressed. Together, Christine and Victoria uncover how growing up in a highly critical environment taught her to hide parts of herself in order to avoid conflict, judgment, and rejection. Now, as she prepares to share her voice more publicly, those same protective patterns are resurfacing. If you've ever felt called to something bigger but found yourself procrastinating, shrinking back, or questioning your worth, this episode will help you understand why—and what it takes to move forward anyway. Press play to discover how fear of criticism may be keeping you from the freedom, fulfillment, and authenticity you truly desire.    Consider / Ask Yourself Do you hold yourself back because you fear what others might think? Did you grow up in a household where criticism, correction, or high expectations were common? Do you feel called to share more of yourself but find yourself procrastinating or avoiding visibility? Are you living from authenticity—or from a strategy designed to avoid judgment?   Key Insights and A-Ha's Perfectionism is often a survival strategy developed in response to criticism. Fear of being seen can create "invisibility blocks" that limit authentic expression. Many people spend more energy avoiding criticism than pursuing what they truly want. Authenticity often requires grieving the identity you built to stay safe. Freedom comes not from being perfect—but from allowing yourself to be fully seen.   How to Deepen the Work Reflect on how criticism shaped your relationship with visibility and self-expression. Notice where you are seeking safety through perfection rather than authenticity. Ask yourself: "What would I do if I wasn't afraid of being judged?" Begin practicing self-expression in small ways, even when discomfort arises.   Resource Mentioned in This Episode Inner Child Course Christine references her evergreen Inner Child program, designed to help people rewire childhood conditioning, heal protective patterns, and reconnect with their authentic selves. In this episode, Michael welcomes Master Mingtong Gu. Master Mingtong Gu is an internationally recognized teacher of Wisdom Healing Qigong, founder of the Chi Center and the Wisdom Healing Qigong community, and a leading voice in energy healing, mind-body medicine, and embodied spiritual awakening. Drawing from ancient Chinese healing traditions and decades of personal practice, his work helps people reconnect with the body as a source of healing, consciousness, resilience, and transformation. His latest book, Coming Home to Embodied Awakening, explores how returning to the body restores wholeness, inner peace, and human connection in an age of distraction and AI.  Conversation Highlights Include: -A powerful exploration of how modern life keeps people trapped in the mind, disconnected from the body, and separated from their deeper humanity. -Why so much suffering comes from living externally—searching for love, peace, fulfillment, and healing outside ourselves instead of within. -An honest conversation about embodiment as the practice of returning to the body again and again, especially in an age of distraction, technology, and AI. -How healing begins when people stop resisting what they feel internally and start meeting the body with compassion, presence, and awareness. -A profound reframe of the body not as a machine, object, or "rental vehicle," but as a sacred expression of life itself. -What happens emotionally and spiritually when people reconnect with their bodies and begin to experience groundedness, wholeness, self-love, and inner peace. -A beautiful reflection on meditating in the middle of Times Square and discovering stillness, presence, and sacredness within chaos and noise. -The story of a childhood near-death experience, forgotten trauma, asthma, and the realization that the body remembers what the mind forgets. -Why healing is not linear, but a spiral of awareness, growth, detoxification, and returning to deeper levels of Truth and consciousness. -A practical framework for transformation through acceptance, activation, and appreciation—moving from inner contraction into embodiment, empowerment, and gratitude. Michael closes the episode with a guided meditation on presence, observation, embodiment, sacred silence, and anchoring  Heaven on Earth through awareness.

Welcome to The Daily, where we study the Bible verse by verse, chapter by chapter, every day. Get your Hosea Scripture Journal now. What if the greatest danger in your life isn't open rebellion, but quiet distance from God? Listen to our text today, Hosea 4:4-6a: Yet let no one contend, and let none accuse, for with you is my contention, O priest. You shall stumble by day; the prophet also shall stumble with you by night; and I will destroy your mother. My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge, — Hosea 4:4-6a God says, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." He does not say they are inconvenienced, distracted, or struggling. He says they are destroyed. And the cause is not a lack of resources or opportunity. It is a lack of knowledge. But this is not talking about information alone. The Hebrew idea behind this word points to real, personal, covenant knowledge. God is not accusing them of forgetting a few facts about him. He is saying they no longer know him as they should. The relationship has thinned. The truth has been neglected. What should have been living and personal has become distant and hollow. And notice this carefully: God says they rejected knowledge. This was not innocent ignorance. This was chosen distance and outright rejection. They had access to God's Word. They had priests. They had covenant history. But instead of receiving what God had revealed, they pushed it aside. They preferred other voices, other loves, and other ways of living. That is why this prophecy hits so hard. Destruction in our lives does not begin when we become openly wicked. It begins much earlier, when we stop pursuing the knowledge of God. That is when the drift begins. Truth grows thin. Conviction weakens. Sin becomes easier to justify. What once felt dangerous begins to feel normal. If your knowledge or relationship with God is shallow, your life will not stay strong for long. If you live on old truth, borrowed truth, or occasional truth, you will eventually feel the effects of it. You cannot neglect God privately and stay steady personally. So instead of fixing peripheral issues in your life, maybe it's time to address the relational issues with God. It might be time to address your intimacy. Take some time today to sit in God's presence. Sing to him. Pray to him. Sit quietly in his presence and merely listen to him. Get to know the Lord again, and not just more about him. DO THIS: Spend time in God's Word today with one aim: not just to learn something, but to know him more deeply. ASK THIS: Where has your knowledge of God become thin or secondhand? What habits are helping you know God more personally, and what habits are pulling you away? What is one step you need to take today to pursue God more intentionally? PRAY THIS: Father, keep me from drifting into distance from you. Deepen my knowledge of you and draw me into a living, faithful relationship with you. Amen. PLAY THIS: "The Secret Place"

What if your dating anxiety isn't actually about the person you're dating? In this deeply validating and eye-opening coaching session, Christine works with Rebecca, who experiences intense anxiety, panic attacks, hypervigilance, and worst-case-scenario thinking whenever dating begins to feel emotionally significant. As relationships move beyond the casual stage, Rebecca finds herself constantly scanning for danger—analyzing every response, questioning whether she can trust the person, and struggling to feel safe enough to relax into connection. But as Christine gently uncovers the deeper root, it becomes clear: this isn't really about dating. It's about a nervous system that was wired for survival in childhood. Growing up with an alcoholic mother and a bipolar father, Rebecca learned early that safety depended on staying hyper-aware, emotionally prepared, and constantly scanning for potential threats. Now, even healthy intimacy activates the same survival patterns her nervous system once needed to survive. Together, they explore the difference between fear and true desire, how childhood programming impacts adult relationships, and why compassion—not self-criticism—is the key to nervous system healing. If you've ever questioned your reactions in dating, wondered why intimacy feels so activating, or tried to "logic" your way out of anxiety, this episode will help you understand yourself on a much deeper level. Press play to learn why your nervous system may be protecting you from a past that's already over—and how compassion can begin to change everything. Consider / Ask Yourself Do you become hypervigilant or anxious once dating starts feeling emotionally significant? Are you constantly scanning for red flags or worst-case scenarios in relationships? Do you struggle to tell the difference between fear and intuition? Are you trying to "think" your way out of nervous system activation instead of compassionately supporting yourself through it? Key Insights and A-Ha's Hypervigilance is often a survival response learned in childhood—not proof something is wrong now. A nervous system wired for instability can interpret intimacy as danger. Logic and reassurance rarely regulate fear-based nervous system patterns. Compassion and validation create more healing than self-criticism or over-analysis. Healing begins when we stop fighting our reactions and start understanding them. How to Deepen the Work Notice when your nervous system shifts into scanning, bracing, or worst-case-scenario thinking. Practice validating your feelings instead of immediately trying to fix or explain them. Ask yourself: "Is this decision coming from fear or from truth?" Spend intentional time reconnecting with your inner child and nervous system safety. You've meditated. You've journaled. You've done the work. So why do you still feel stuck? If that question hits a nerve, this episode is for you. Master Mingtong Gu has a clear and somewhat unsettling answer, and it has nothing to do with your mindset. About This Episode Master Mingtong Gu trained at a real hospital in China where the only prescription was energy, no medicine, no surgery, no supplements, just Qigong practice, all day, every day. The results were documented. The patients were real. And the conditions being healed were the kind conventional medicine had already given up on. In this conversation, Will and Karen sit down with Master Gu to explore what Wisdom Healing Qigong actually is, why most of us are spiritually "trying" from the neck up while completely bypassing the body, and what that disconnect costs us in an age increasingly dominated by AI. His core argument is simple and hard to shake: the gap between knowing something and actually living it doesn't live in your mind. It lives in your body. What You'll DiscoverWhy "incurable" is a statement about a doctor's limits, not yours, and what Master Gu says that means for your healingThe two patterns of energy that explain chronic stress, anxiety, and physical tension in one framework, and why "negative energy" might be the wrong lens entirelyWhat 8 to 10 hours of daily Qigong practice at the medicine-less hospital actually looked like, and why the intensity matteredThe surprising reason group practice produces results that solo practice can't replicate, including what a 30-day energy measurement study foundWhy the AI conversation isn't just about technology. it's about whether we're choosing to remain humanA short embodiment practice Master Gu leads mid-episode that you can do right now, hands on chest, no experience requiredThis Episode Hits Differently If... In this episode, the hosts discuss the team's recent struggles, including their inability to beat the Arizona Diamondbacks and their lack of momentum. They also touch on the topic of the "tarps off" movement, where fans take off their shirts to show team spirit, and whether it's a good or bad idea. The hosts also dive into the world of basketball, discussing the New York Knicks' impressive 11-game winning streak and their chances in the NBA Finals. They also share some funny moments from their own lives, including a story about a Star Wars-themed t-shirt from their childhood. The conversation is lighthearted and entertaining, but also gets serious when discussing the Giants' struggles and the importance of building momentum. One of the key points of discussion is the Giants' attendance, which is still strong despite their poor record. The hosts wonder if the team's ownership is worried about fielding a winner, or if they're just happy to have a packed stadium regardless of the team's performance. They also discuss the possibility of the Giants making a big move, possibly involving a trade, to turn their season around. If you're a Giants fan or just a fan of baseball in general, this episode is a must-listen. What happens when you've done the healing, broken the patterns, and still haven't found your person? In this deeply validating and emotionally rich coaching session, Christine works with Rachel, who is navigating life as a single woman in her late 30s after leaving an emotionally abusive relationship. Rachel has done years of deep inner work, including healing childhood wounds, rebuilding her self-worth, and learning how to date from discernment instead of desperation. But despite all that growth, she finds herself asking a painful question many conscious women quietly carry: "I've done the work… so where is my person?" Together, Christine and Rachel unpack the pressure, grief, and cultural conditioning that often surrounds being single later in life—especially for women who refuse to settle and are committed to breaking generational patterns. Christine offers a powerful reframe: perhaps the delay isn't punishment or proof something is wrong. Perhaps it's evidence that Rachel has truly completed an old karmic pattern and is no longer available for unhealthy love. This episode is an invitation to stop viewing yourself as "behind" and start recognizing the profound growth and discernment that conscious partnership actually requires. If you've ever felt discouraged in your dating journey, questioned your timing, or feared it may never happen for you, this conversation will meet you with compassion, truth, and hope. Press play to reconnect with your embodied wisdom—and remember that longing does not have to become suffering.    Consider / Ask Yourself Are you viewing your relationship status through cultural conditioning or through your own truth? Have you mistaken being unpartnered for being "behind" in life? Are you truly honoring how much healing and integration you've already completed? Can you stay connected to your longing for partnership without creating suffering around it?   Key Insights and A-Ha's Conscious women often delay partnership because they refuse to repeat generational patterns. Longing for partnership is not weakness—it can be a deep intuitive knowing. Healing is not just about processing pain—it's about embodying new truth and discernment. Fear after an abusive relationship can soften through embodied wisdom and self-trust. Much of the suffering around being single comes from cultural narratives rather than reality itself.   How to Deepen the Work Notice when thoughts about being single create unnecessary suffering or urgency. Practice reconnecting with the version of yourself who deeply trusts her discernment. Reflect on the lessons and red flags from past relationships so they become embodied wisdom. Continue nurturing your inner child so longing does not become abandonment.   Resources Mentioned in This Episode Be the Queen Live Program Christine shares details about the upcoming live round of her relationship and conscious partnership course designed for women calling in healthy, aligned love. What happens when you linger and look closely at a piece of art? Nathalie Ryan, an educator from the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C., guides us through a slow looking practice shown to help deepen your sense of awe, presence, and connection. How To Do This Practice: Choose an image to focus on: Pick a piece of art, photograph, postcard, or even a recent photo from your phone that captures a natural or urban scene. Don't overthink it—choose something that draws your attention. Begin with a few slow breaths: Take a moment to settle into the present. Deepen your inhale, lengthen your exhale, and allow your breathing to slow the pace of your day. Let your eyes wander slowly: Scan the image without rushing. Notice the light, colors, shapes, patterns, textures, and details that begin to emerge as you spend more time looking. Imagine yourself inside the scene: Engage all of your senses. What might you hear, smell, feel, or taste in this place? Allow yourself to step into the environment with your imagination. Notice how the scene changes: Picture the image at different times of day and throughout the seasons. Reflect on how the light, colors, atmosphere, and activity might shift over time. Reflect on what arises: Pause to notice any emotions, memories, thoughts, or sensations that surfaced during the practice. Consider what changed when you gave yourself permission to look more slowly. What if your biggest money block has nothing to do with money? In this deeply insightful and empowering coaching session, Christine works with Karishma, a trauma-informed relationship coach who feels torn between following her purpose and contributing financially to her family in a more traditional way. Even though Karishma loves her work and knows she's helping people transform their lives, she struggles with inconsistent income, self-doubt, and the pressure to prove she can "make it" as an entrepreneur. But as the conversation unfolds, Christine uncovers something much deeper: a childhood belief formed at just six years old that still shapes how Karishma sees her capabilities today. Together they explore how early experiences around intelligence, performance, and worth can quietly sabotage confidence in adulthood—even when someone is deeply gifted and aligned with their purpose. Christine also offers a refreshing and nuanced conversation around feminine energy, contribution, entrepreneurship, accessibility, and what it truly means to be an "independent woman." If you've ever struggled to monetize your gifts, doubted your abilities, or felt conflicted between purpose and financial security, this episode will deeply resonate. Press play to discover why your purpose may not be the problem—and how old beliefs could be blocking the abundance you're meant to receive.    Consider / Ask Yourself Do you feel deeply aligned with your purpose but financially stuck? Are old beliefs about intelligence, capability, or worth affecting your confidence? Do you feel pressure to prove your value through income or productivity? Are you trying to fit yourself into a version of success that doesn't actually align with your soul?   Key Insights and A-Ha's Purpose-driven work and entrepreneurship require very different skill sets. Childhood experiences around failure or "not being good enough" can shape adult money beliefs. Neurodivergence can impact confidence, communication, and traditional ideas of success. Contribution isn't measured solely by income or productivity. Feminine magnetism grows when we align with authenticity, purpose, and service—not pressure and proving.   How to Deepen the Work Reflect on the earliest memories connected to feeling "not capable" or "not smart enough." In this incredibly relatable coaching session, Christine works with Melissa, who feels overwhelmed, emotionally triggered, and exhausted from carrying the mental and emotional load in her marriage. Even though she and her husband love each other deeply and have a strong connection, Melissa finds herself stuck in a painful cycle: she over-functions, suppresses her needs, builds resentment, and then reacts emotionally when she feels unsupported. As Christine unpacks the deeper dynamic underneath the conflict, a powerful truth emerges: Melissa isn't just reacting to dishes, chores, or household responsibilities—she's reliving childhood patterns of anxious attachment, people-pleasing, and fear of losing connection. Together they explore the "merging pattern"—a survival strategy where someone over-functions in relationships to maintain harmony and avoid abandonment. Christine helps Melissa see that true healing isn't about controlling someone else's behavior—it's about learning how to advocate for your needs without collapsing into fear, guilt, or resentment. If you've ever felt like the emotional manager of your relationship, or you struggle to ask for support without feeling guilty, this episode will hit home. Press play to learn how over-functioning may be keeping you stuck—and how to start creating healthier relationship dynamics.    Consider / Ask Yourself Do you constantly feel responsible for everyone else's needs and emotions? Are you over-functioning in your relationship while your partner under-functions? Do you avoid speaking up because you fear conflict or disconnection? Are you building resentment because your needs aren't being clearly expressed or supported?   Key Insights and A-Ha's Over-functioning is often a childhood survival strategy rooted in anxious attachment. Resentment builds when one partner consistently carries the emotional and practical load. Advocating for your needs is not selfish—it's essential for healthy relationships. Clear agreements and boundaries reduce emotional chaos and confusion. Healing requires tolerating discomfort instead of rescuing, fixing, or enabling.   How to Deepen the Work Reflect on where you may be over-functioning in your relationships. Practice identifying your actual needs before resentment builds. Create clear agreements and responsibilities within your household or partnerships. Notice when your nervous system interprets conflict as danger—and gently re-regulate before reacting.   Resources Mentioned in This Episode Group Coaching Call: Understanding Your Survival Strategies Christine shares details about her live coaching workshop focused on identifying the five core survival strategies and learning how to shift unhealthy relational patterns.
