What does it take to sustain the doors God opens for you? In this Sunday sermon from Calvary International Christian Centre (CICC) Leeds, Pastor presents "How to Maintain Your Elevation"—a deeply practical guide on sustaining God's promotion in your career, ministry, family, and spiritual walk. In this episode, you'll discover: ▪️ Why God Elevates: Understanding that divine promotion isn't for personal pride, but for fruitfulness, family preservation, and kingdom impact (Daniel 2:46–49). ▪️ Walking Wisely: Learning from David's example of exercising wisdom and restraint when elevated into new environments (1 Samuel 18:14). ▪️ The 7 Keys to Sustained Promotion: 1. Stay Humble: Remembering that wealth and wisdom come from God (Deuteronomy 8:18). 2. Stay Connected: Remaining rooted in prayer, the Word, and church life (John 15:5–6). 3. Guard Your Character: Prioritizing a good name over temporary gain (Proverbs 22:1). 4. Keep Learning: Staying studious, coachable, and hungry (1 Timothy 4:15–16). 5. Avoid Familiarity: Overcoming complacency and spiritual ease (Amos 6:1). 6. Serve Others: Embracing servant leadership as you grow higher (Mark 10:43–44). 7. Stay Vigilant: Protecting your elevation through watchful prayer (1 Peter 5:8–9). Build the spiritual and personal capacity to hold the promotion God is bringing into your life! *** Key Scriptures: Daniel 2:46–49, 1 Samuel 18:14, Deuteronomy 8:18, John 15:5–6, Proverbs 22:1, 1 Peter 5:8–9 Speaker: Rev. Chris Wilson A

"Promotion isn't about playing politics or seeking public approval—it starts in the quiet place between you and God."

"Grace brings you to the top, but character keeps you there."

Is your heart prepared to sustain the supernatural elevation God is bringing into your life? In this midweek message at Calvary International Christian Centre (CICC) Leeds, we explore the indispensable character trait needed for lasting promotion: biblical humility. While knowledge and spiritual gifts can open high doors, unhandled success and pride can easily destroy what promotion builds. In this episode, you'll discover: ▪️ What True Humility Means: Understanding humility not as self-hatred or low self-esteem, but as freedom from arrogance, having a grounded perspective, and thinking of yourself less. ▪️ The Danger of Pride: Why "knowledge puffs up" and how pride leads to spiritual stagnation if unaddressed during seasons of rising. ▪️ Developing an Honest Assessment: Learning to evaluate yourself truthfully before God rather than copying the world's standard or pretending. ▪️ Appreciating Community: Recognizing that divine advancement isn't a solo journey, and learning to value the unique contributions of those around you. ▪️ Framing Your Future with Words: How continuously hearing, meditating on, and speaking God's Word actively shapes your capacity for true growth. Learn how to cultivate a humble heart so God can safely exalt you in due season! Key Scriptures: 1 Corinthians 8:1–3, James 4:6–10, Romans 12:2–6, 1 Corinthians 12:4–7, Hebrews 11:3 Speaker: Rev. Gloria Wilson A.

"Promotion isn't just about your platform—it's about God's purpose."

Are you equipping your spiritual life with the full toolkit of prayer? In this final instalment of our "Kinds and Types of Prayer" series at Calvary International Christian Centre (CICC) Leeds, we examine five more distinct biblical ways to communicate with God and exercise spiritual authority. In this episode, you'll discover: ▪️ Praying in Tongues: How praying in the Spirit edifies your faith, bypasses human limitation, and serves as your daily spiritual warm-up (1 Corinthians 14:2–4, Romans 8:26–27). ▪️ Short & Powerful Prayers: How to target the unseen spiritual root driving physical storms and crises (Mark 4:36–39). ▪️ Imprecatory Prayers: Understanding the biblical place of invoking God's righteous judgment and leaving vengeance in His hands (Psalm 109). ▪️ Listening Prayers: Laying aside personal agendas to wait on God and hear His "still small voice" (1 Kings 19:11–13, Psalm 46:10). ▪️ Prayer of Confession: Why daily repentance, clean hands, and pure motives are essential to staying in God's presence (1 John 1:5–9, Psalm 139:23–24). Equip yourself with the right prayer for every season! Key Scriptures: Ephesians 6:18, 1 Corinthians 14:2–4, Mark 4:36–39, 1 Kings 19:11–13, 1 John 1:5–9

Have you ever felt like your prayers were hitting a glass ceiling?

Are you using a "one-size-fits-all" approach to your prayer life, or are you deploying the specific type of prayer your situation demands? In this midweek teaching, we continue our series on "Kinds and Types of Prayer," exploring Ephesians 6:18 and 1 Timothy 2:1. In this episode, you'll discover: ▪️ Long Prayers: Why major life decisions, direction, and spiritual authority require extended time in God's presence (Luke 6:12, Daniel 10:2–3). ▪️ Loud Prayers: How to use loud, fervent prayer to overcome fear, shatter distraction, and command God's attention during intense spiritual battles (Hebrews 5:7, Acts 4:24–31). ▪️ Prayers of Thanksgiving: Why genuine appreciation for past victories unlocks room for future breakthroughs (1 Thessalonians 5:18, Acts 16:25). ▪️ David vs. Saul: The stark difference between a heart of quick repentance and thanksgiving versus a heart of pride. Stop settling for shallow spiritual habits. Listen in to align your prayer life with biblical authority!
