The Northern Territory courts have been dealing with the fallout from the helicopter crash that killed Chris Wilson for years before this trial. In this episode, Olivana Lathouris and Matt Garrick join Stephen Stockwell to explain the other charges brought following the crash — including against another helicopter pilot and an off-duty cop — and what the transport regulator found caused it in the first place. If you have any questions you'd like Oli and Stocky to answer in future episodes, please email thecaseof@abc.net.au.The Case Of is the follow-up to the hit podcast Mushroom Case Daily, and all episodes of that show will remain available in the back catalogue of The Case Of.--It's the trial everyone in Darwin is talking about. In February 2022 a helicopter on a crocodile egg collection mission crashed in remote Arnhem Land, killing the egg collector and paralysing the pilot.NT Croc Wrangler Matt Wright isn't on trial for the crash, but for what allegedly he did after. Charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice, prosecutors say he tried to interfere with the investigation.Matt Wright has pled not guilty and denies all the allegations. To hear the background of this story, listen to our episode introducing the case of the croc wrangler. The Case Of is the follow-up to the hit ABC podcast Mushroom Case Daily. The response to Mushroom Case Daily was overwhelming, with more than 8000 emails from listeners, many of them noting how the coverage had given them unprecedented insight into Australia's criminal judicial system. We decided to convert the podcast into an ongoing trial coverage feed to continue delivering on this front, following cases that capture the public's attention.

Send us a textWhy do so many of us — even the most accomplished, grateful, and faith-filled — still wrestle with feeling like we're not enough? In this deeply personal solo episode, Coach Chris Wilson opens up about the quiet struggle of inadequacy — how it's shaped by childhood wounds, difficult relationships, societal pressure, and spiritual disconnection. He reflects on his own upbringing, including past traumas and a verbally abusive parent, and how those early seeds of doubt can follow us into adulthood.Chris explores the emotional weight of regret, the trap of comparison, and the idols we unknowingly cling to that pull us away from our true identity in Christ. With Scripture as his guide, he reminds listeners that our worth is not defined by the world — it's found in the love of a perfect God who created us strong by design. If you've ever looked in the mirror and thought, “I'm not enough,” this episode is for you. This show is brought to you in association with iDealwine. English county Essex is better known for its brash behaviour (and certain reality TV shows) than its beautiful wines. But is all that about to change?!For long, Essex was England's best kept wine secret. The grapes were sold off to producers from Kent to Cornwall, which meant their Essex origin sailed under the radar. But then came the investment - both from ambitious local families and then, in 2023, from the highly regarded US wine producer Jackson Family Wines (JFW). Nowadays, some postcodes in Essex have the highest concentration of individual vineyards anywhere in the UK. Vineyard prices are not far off those in Marlborough, New Zealand. Essex has gone from zero to wine hero in the blink of an eye, with classy still (rather than sparkling) wines the forté, particularly Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc. So could Essex end up challenging the likes of Sancerre and Burgundy?!We get the lowdown from Charlie Holland, who's heading up JFW's ambitious English wine project, plus 'Mr Essex viticulture' Duncan McNeill and Chris Wilson of acclaimed Cambridge urban winery Gutter&Stars. We also give our verdict on a (surprisingly wide) range of Essex wines, including JFW's debut release (Marbury Chardonnay). And yes, the words, 'new dimension' are uttered. Thanks for tuning in. We love to hear from you so please do get in touch! Send us a voice message via Speakpipe. Send us a textSo, what are the Dangers and Pitfalls of not making time for YOU?In this episode coach Chris Wilson explores the concept of ‘Me Time' and how valuable this is for your soul and for those depending on us to be at our best. And this is not a selfish practice but a necessary one.Self-care eludes many of us because all too often we find ourselves so focused on other people, other things, and other responsibilities that we mistakenly neglect our own needs. But those needs don't just vanish because we're ignoring them.It is always the right time to closely examine your life and find the time to feed and nurture your soul. You cannot add more hours to the day but you can add more value to your hours. It's time to evaluate how you're spending your time each day and to start doing what's necessary to fill your cup so that you can pour into others. "Your relationships with the people you spend the most time with will be 100% negatively affected if you don't set aside time for yourself to do the things that fill your cup." — Chris Wilson Time Stamps00:33 - Welcome to the Strong By Design podcast! 00:58 - Join host Chris Wilson for today's special solo episode 02:19 - What happens when you neglect yourself? 06:07 - How to balance hustle and relationships 10:02 - What builds a better version of YOU 13:19 - The value of sleep and engaging in regular physical activity 17:55 - The dangers and pitfalls of neglecting self-care 21:00 - Discovering your joy and doing what you love 24:47 - Why neglecting self-care can harm your health 27:18 - Embracing what you love without guilt 29:00 - Strategies for setting priorities in your life 34:56 - Please share and leave ratings & reviews for the SBD podcast!Connect with Coach Chris:· Instagram· FacebookSupport the showConnect w/ CriticalBench: Youtube Facebook Instagram CriticalBench.com StrongByDesignPodcast.com

Send us a textWe are not meant to live a life of solitude but of community. Most of us long for connection with others. To be included, to be part of something bigger than ourselves. And there is no time of the year where this feeling of togetherness and relationship is stronger than Christmas time.As we celebrate the birth of our Savior, hosts Jared Haley and Chris Wilson have a conversation about the importance of finding your people in life. The two greatest commandments in the bible, to love God and to love others. Both require community.Remember, Jesus is not just the reason for the season, Jesus is the reason period. It is only through Jesus that we are able to enter into a space of eternal acceptance and community. It is only through Jesus we can uphold the most important commandments. Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” - Genesis 1:26 The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.” Genesis 2:18And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God's dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. - Revelation 21:3 "The reality is that we need people and connection, even if it's just with a few." — Jared Haley Time Stamps00:37 - Welcome to the Strong By Design podcast! 01:00 - Join Hosts Chris Wilson and Jared Haley for today's exciting Christmas special episode 03:24 - Why community matters and its true importance 10:12 - How single and married folks connect differently 13:54 - Unwrapping the true meaning of Christmas 21:21 - The power of getting kids into the Bible 27:52 - How to courageously stand for Jesus in public 31:42 - How to show that we are strong by design 39:07 - From gangster to grace: A life changed by a small group 43:30 - What is the missing piece in life's puzzle? 45:30 - What is the true meaning behind the season? 47:03 - Please share, and leave ratings & reviews for the SBD podcast!Support the showConnect w/ CriticalBench: Youtube Facebook Instagram CriticalBench.com StrongByDesignPodcast.com
