This week, my guest is Joe Trippi, Partner with Trippi, Norton and Rossmeissl, Democratic Strategist, CNN Contributor. Trippi has been in the business of campaigning since the 70s. His client list includes, but not limited to, races for Tom Bradley, Ted Kennedy, Doug Wilder, John Edwards, Jerry Brown and Gary Hart. Recently, Trippi was the architect of Doug Jones' victory in Alabama, as well as campaign manager for Mike Espy in Mississippi. We will compare and contrast both campaigns and the current challenges of campaigning in the south as a Democrat in the era of Trump.
