GOP Nominee Donald Trump decided that suburban white America was his ticket to victory and that alienating the urban Hispanics, African Americans, and eventually women wouldn’t matter that angry white America could take him over the top. Will it work, is there enough white men in America that will support a racially bigoted, misogynistic, narcissistic, self absorbed seventy year old child to lead the most powerful nation on the earth? Dr. Eddie Glaude, Jr., Amb Suzan Johnson Cook, Mr. Brandon Andrews, and Dr. Wilmer Leon share their perspectives on Decision 2016 the Presidential elections.

Election cycles are more and more crucial for African Americans as each year rolls around and 2016 will be no different. In fact it may be the most important. Without President Obama, who can Black America turn too? Who will be that voice? Who will establish the policies that support Black America? My guests Dr. Estrelda Alexander, Mr. Brandon Andrews, and Dr. Nicol Turner-Lee addressed the Donald Trump effect and the plight that faces Black America in 2016.
In an instant, the success of the election of the first African American as President of the United States came crashing down with a loud thud, when S.C. Congressman Joe Wilson, yelled out at President Obama during a joint session of Congress, “YOU LIE!” At that moment, the post-racial society that was believed to have existed, died. Missouri University, at the hands of bigoted students, neighbors, and faculty created a racially segregated atmosphere that caused a lone man to stand up and call for equality and justice. Join Dr. Tammy Sanders-Henderson, Brandon Andrews, and Tom Morris as they dissect the cause and effects of Mizzu.
With so many hashtag movements popping up, and the GOP moving further to the right, what impact can the #HashTag Movement have on the future of Black Politics and the 2016 Election cycle? Brandon Andrews stops by to share his views on the Hashtag movement and its impact on 2016.
Over the past week there has been numerous reports of white police officers shooting and killing unarmed black men. In one state alone, two police officers were charged with murder, while another white officer was charged with man-slaughter, and another in Miami, was put on leave while an investigation is being conducted into that case. In California, a Hispanic man was beaten by 7 white police officers after he had surrendered and put his hands behind his back. Are police officers sworn to Protect and to Serve, or to Kill and to Lie? My guest tonight to discuss that issue are: Mayor Chris Brown of Hawthorne, California, South Carolina State Representative J. Seth Whipper, Brandon Andrews, CEO SWAT, and South Carolina State Representative Justin Bamberg, the attorney for the Walter Scott family.
If you asked them, they are already leading and they aren't waiting for the current leadership to pass them anything, they're ready to SNATCH IT! With the average term of Black Caucus members 10-to-15 years of service, and their average age being 55+; the Next Generation says, they are prepared to move forward with or without the blessings of the current leadership. So, Who is Preparing the Next Generation? They are, said Deon Jones. "We don't need them to pass it, we are prepared to take it." So, is the next generation of leadership prepared to lead the future of Black Politics? Hear what my other guests, Dr. Omar Ali and Brandon Andrews, had to say.
In the aftermath of the 2014 Midterm Elections, Progressive found themselves scratching their heads and asking, "What now?" Many Democrats pointed fingers and blamed everyone but themselves. From the President, Majority Leader, to the pundits, all scrambled to blame others for the devastating losses. The Democrats must take responsibility for their actions instead of attempting to blame everyone else. There is no togetherness, no responsibility, and a confused sense of direction moving forward. What happened to the MESSAGE? We asked my guests Stacey Abrams, Georgia State Minority Leader, and Brandon Andrews, Director of IMPACT, to answer the question of "What now?"
