In this weeks episode we discuss doing CrossFit whilst pregnant. Heading into my 30th week of pregnancy, I have been doing CrossFit throughout, as was my intention from the very beginning. In this weeks episode we talk about why folk don’t do more for the environment. What is stopping us? Is it convenience, ignorance, lack of education or a simple denial? We then talk about the next generation gaining their voice, is it up to them to make mandatory changes within society? Or can we look to the past for inspiration on our future? In this weeks episode we talk about our experience of the first trimester of pregnancy. This topic is really important to us as when we were in the mix of those first twelve weeks we felt like there was no information out there, no real life reflections to help us know that our feelings and emotions were completely normal! We reflect on how we felt, what we went through both physically and mentally, how we tackled everything that came up and how we worked through the stereotypes and general pregnancy BS that still surrounds society. Pregnant or not, planning kids or no plans for them, this one is for everyone that wants to hear a real life personal story of two soon to be parents. In this weeks episode we discuss why we took one month out of CrossFit and why it was the best thing we did. Moving, setting up home in a brand new area and all the stresses that come with it are bad enough, but did we want to add optional additional stress to our bodies by doing CrossFit? The answer was no! We reveal what happened during that month, how our bodies felt, what surprises we had and what we did for our bodies instead. Now, 2 weeks back at CrossFit, we also take a fresh new look at how we move and what role it will play in our life.We would love to know what you want us to talk about or if you have any thoughts on this weeks episode. In this weeks episode, a Jen solo episode, I sit down to chat about how prioritising your belongings can lead to you feeling more organised. I dive into the world of ‘wants’ and how it’s ok to want things in your world that make you happy and therefore are a priority. How belongings can sometimes make you feel suffocated, being honest with yourself about your ‘stuff’, our changing priorities as we age and how to use these principals when buying new things. I then do a quick dive into how you can ask yourself these questions with regards prioritising your belongings but also your time. If you should want your belongings you should also do what you want with your time! We would love to know what you want us to talk about or if you have any thoughts on this weeks episode.
