Boone Holding explores being a Hippie Cowboy in the Hill Country. Boone's music reflects a broad range he his true to his name and it's roots to the earth. His lifestyle seems to be half hippie, half cowboy. Boone Holding's writing and playing style has been classified Grunge, Country and Americana.…
No agenda. Just three guys chilling in the shack in the back, conversating about the stage of the world we live in.
Forgiveness is a key trait to having a happy and successful life. Forgetfulness is not. Do not forget things we learn along the way, especially when they impact so many people on so many levels. Moving forward with new elections and yet again the same two parties. Who would have guessed.
Neither one of these two independent thinking Texans have seen the new Hocus Pocus movie yet, but that's alright. Still enough of it in the air to give us an idea of its purpose. Texas Governors clash to see which one can take the inevitable downfall. We feel it's a pretty weak choice if any at all. But hey, opinions are like.....just have a good day.
No matter what you believe, geo-politics has its ways of affecting us all. Today is no different. We here on this show hope for more peaceful solutions to very complicated problems. Whatever happens is largely out of our control. We wish the best for people negatively impacted by such events. In the course of human history, maps always change. Good vibes to y'all out there.
Joined by our friend Kevin once again for a laugh and a conversation about the ever changing world around us. Wild times for sure, but we are lucky to have the chance at another day and conversation. We hope the day is good to you.
This is two tired human beings discussing some American football and also opinions about large scale political and non-political issues that face the world. Chiefs beat the Chargers. Good times.
Who are you listening to? And where are they leading you? Are we all being led? Maybe we all are and that is just a part of our lives. Or maybe we are conscious beings that are well aware of determining what direction to take in our lives. Maybe this leadership has become overwhelmingly undedicated to anything but its own interest. These are just some thoughts we ponder sometimes. We hope that you think as well. It is not as dangerous as some might make you believe. Have a day!
You guessed it again. Talking about the "could be" rains that have now turned into the "have now" rained. We stay set on a few of the many ongoing crazy situations facing the world we all feel like we once knew. We still know it, just couldn't recognize it behind that mask.
We just returned from our annual mountain climb. What a doozie! We talk a little about that here along with a few other things. We respectfully question the effectiveness of the modern judicial system in America. The main thing we do this for is to conversate and learn. We will never claim to have the truth on every or any issue. We just do our best to try and understand the world we live in. Have a solid week.
We get into a little bit of something. Like our own minds. At the end of the day, we are just praying for rain and willing to dance for it as well. We hope you have an enjoyable day.
In this episode we rant. What is new? Well as you might of guessed, not a lotta. Here we are once again exercising the ultimate God given right to speak. We are going to take this opportunity to say, thank you for ever taking the time, to give us your time. Wishing for more peace and positive collaborations in this crazy world. Let's do our best.
In this episode you will finally understand how our freedom of speech is under attack. It truly is. But this time by some Guinea fowl trying to get themselves nestled in the trees for the night. Crazy birds. Other than that, we do the normal thing. Talk about life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness or at least something we can grow to be proud of. We want to get better as well and continue helping grow positive things. Sometimes we just get fall down the road less traveled. Have a good week.
In this episode we are joined by another independent thinking Texan who gets into some posts he made on social media, and moreover, if social media is really the forum to be having such consequential and in-depth debate or conversation. This is just part of this episode and we hope you can take something from it. If not, that is cool too. Have a day!
In this episode we do our first cross podcast with Talking Tremors. Needless to say, in this episode there is a ton of Tremor talk and two guys named Levi teaching a guy named Boone a little more about the compelling movie series. We touch on some other things as well, but really this is a good chance to talk about an American art creation with a purpose. A little something different if you will. We thank Levi for this cross podcast and hope y'all have an enjoyable day. One moment at a time.
We get into a lot more than what the title leads on, but it all begins there. We had the opportunity to go to a Ron Paul Institute conference with several powerful speakers. I would think this probably set the tone for this episode. Our friend Kevin even joins us half-way through. Try and enjoy your day.
In this episode we sit down with a United States Marine to get a feel of where his mind is these days. We enjoyed our time and hope you have a good day. Find any beauty in life and grab a hold of it. Maybe even grow a little more. We need all we can get.
A couple of independent thinking Texans with another episode of input on only God knows what. May y'all have a good day today.
I don't want to say that the title says it all, but the title might just say it all.
Everything from t-ball to disinformation. I mean, what the hell is difference any way. Have yourself a day.
Once again, in this episode we talk a little about a few things. Are we in the midst of a real economic mess? What does this all mean for us? We are just trying to make sense of things that seem to not make much at times. Chasing our tails and telling some tales.
A little episode on free speech. Back to the basics. May this day be good to you.
The ever-changing system of money. Good thing none of us use it. Wait, what? Back to homestead baby. And we talk a little about this federal legalization of cannabis situation being tossed like a good dinner salad. Have a great week. Please try and smile at least once.
Another hour long episode of free thought. No editing or show notes. Just push record and go. Have a great week.
On a windy Sunday in Central Texas, some independent thinking Texans hash out some conversation for the world of podcasting. We might not know what we are talking about some or even most times, but we freaking try. And we deserve to go hiking and to shoot some guns for our effort. So we did. Have an interesting day filled with whatever it is that you need.
An hour-long conversation about some recent events. We briefly discuss the Texas Governor's race. We wind down the show with more opinions from the minds of independent thinking Texans. May you find strength through this day and smile on the way.
The world is a crazy place. I suppose that is why we enjoy doing these audio podcast conversations about things that make our minds wander. Some say we are on the brink of a major war. Some say the globe is warming to the point of no return. Some buy way too much toilet paper for no apparent reason. Who knows what to think about it all? We do want to wish people in the world peace of mind through the trials of life. That is for sure. Smile often and love thoroughly. Life is a blink.
Joined by a third "independent thinking Texan" once again in this episode. In simplest form, we are just trying to make more since of the world. We don't always succeed. But we try. Sending strength to anyone who may need it. Keep living the best you can.
In this episode we touch on a horrific shark attack that was caught on camera off of Little Bay in Sydney, Australia. Should this type of video be allowed to be viewed on the internet? We also touch on the push for more war in Ukraine and the protests in Canada. The main thing to remember though, life is short. Don't take any moment for granted.
If we work hard enough we could probably end up getting over 90% of the worlds population cancelled. And don't even say that it is an attack on "free speech". They can still speak freely just only with opinions that we say are alright. Who is we you ask? We are the people who designate truth and valuable opinion. We also have a lot of money and a high social credit score. The rest of you need to get back to work and continue on with your "non-essential" practices. NVMD. We want freedom!
In our opinion, every has an opinion. But whose opinion should decide whose opinion is the proper. Even the most stubborn facts could possibly have different perspectives. It is a complicated issue so I suppose we should just ban it all. Or we can speak and listen. We are absolutely imperfect and also blessed for the opportunity to grow each day. We hope more people come together.
This is no description. This is us telling you to have a great day. We hope that you take the time to breathe, smile, and love more through this beautiful journey we call life. It is challenging and we know this. Keep on moving. Keep on living and when it's over, rest easy. Much love. This episode is us ranting. :)
Here we go again. Getting into another trip around the old burning ball we call the sun. In this episode Boone and Levi are joined by Joe and Kevin for a talk about their expectations for 2022. Live, love, and work a little damn it.
We talk about being ill, a little life, and of course some people who feel the need to always want conflict. Think on your own. Learn for yourself. Perspective is a funny thing.
We discuss the warm weather and nice white buses cruising around at the early morning hours. We break down some crazy thoughts by a politician, (go figure) and we have a laugh or two. Have a great day.
It is hard to describe a conversation you have with others in summary. Another episode where Kevin joins Levi and Boone for another mission to figure out more of what this life is about. If you enjoy podcast, thank you for giving us a try.
Kicking this thing off with the time change. Clocks are always moving, but every now and then we move them back and forth an hour. Why? I'll never be sure. We also talk about the worst ways to try and convince people. It is called mandates. We get into the future of the U.S. and what it would look like if lines were re-established. This is an opinion based show from the hearts and half-baked minds of some independent thinking Texans. Peace to all.
We are back from a month off. What were we doing during that month off? Good question. Let us know when you get the answer. In this episode we cover how deflating politics has become. We discuss if renting a home or owning one is a better option. We talk about other things to, I just can't remember. Have a great day!
At 2:20 of this quick rip I said "unwilling" and meant "willing". Sorry my imperfections show daily. This is also #5 of our Quick Rip segments. I accidentally added to #3's. My bad. I am working on getting better every single day. Some days are better than others, but I will damn sure give my best. Much love to those who need it today!!
We know there are many things you could stress about in this world. In this episode we even stress and chat over a few of them. Social Media, corruption problems, and the ever so bitter mandates. Through the stresses of life though a little humor often goes a long way. Stopping to laugh every now and then isn't bad for the soul. So Let's Go Brandon. Keep your heart and soul alive and well. Grow bitter or grow better.
A short blog reading about freedom and it's place within humanity. I don't know if that completely sums it up, but I suppose it's like a hot dog and is in the ballpark somewhere.
On a stormy Tuesday night in Texas we sit and speak of the world, humanity, and some other random material that moves us. You will be hit by storms in this life. That is a guarantee that comes with our existence. How will you come out of the other side of them? It may be wise to not ignore these storms. Maybe try and study them. Understand them a little more and that way you can come out of the storm even a stronger individual than when it hit you. All we can do is our best in this life.
In this episode we talk a little about borders, the news cycle, and other stuff. What is that other stuff? Whatever our hearts desire. I bet we say freedom at least once in this episode.
In this episode we talk about the complete absurd approach to the promotion of health by the President mandating vaccinations on a growing number of the United States workforce. Silly Pres. Come on man. We also get a little wild talking about protest and riots. The good, the bad, and the ugly. This show is purely for the reason of us trying to understand the world a little more. We are not always successful. Have a day!
We just arrived home from the Guadalupe Mountains out in northwest Texas. What a beautiful place. We are blessed to have some many beautiful areas of our planet. Hopefully we continue to care about preserving what matters to our existence. Oil spills after hurricane Ida and no one knows whose pipelines are leaking. We hope some can come together with resources to fix these leaks for the gulf coast and it habitants. Best wishes to y'all on this life journey.
Should people speak up and speak out when they see corruption or other issues in position statuses higher than theirs? Where does the first amendment begin and end? The importance of TRUE sport and entertainment in culture. Why allowing politics into every aspect of life is an annoyance at best. Hurricanes cause all sorts of damage. One man was actually attacked by an alligator in Louisiana after hurricane Ida. Live is short. Live, laugh, love, and exercise.
If you want to listen, great. If you don't, great. Either way, we truly wish that more people find something in life that is worth living for. Love more, try your best, and be careful what you give. The same you may one day receive. Thank you for your time.
In this episode we talk about something our country has been dealing with for a long time. The inevitable with drawl from the war in Afghanistan. What is going on with the elite class of America? How can they continue to be this wrong and keep any credibility? Your guess is as good as ours. Our thoughts are with all involved in the negative aspect of this situation.
We discuss how ideology is bigger than partisan politics. Blame the "other side" all you want, but what is your ideology of the way the world should be? We cover the school districts in Texas going against the Governor mandates. Mandates on top of mandates on top of mandates. What have we become, and does it even matter? A little love goes a long way.
In this quick rip we showcase in real time what boredom can do to a soul. It is a tricky variant of boredom that is responsible for most cases today. Term of the year by popular demand "Get the jab." Two years ago we would have felt like that meant we were in a boxing competition. Today, it is straight pop culture.
In this episode we toss out "show notes". We throw away the pre-discussed topics that we may get into, and instead, we get into our hearts. That may not make sense to you, but obviously, these times are not about sense. It is all about the Benjamins (and by Benjamins I mean take his a$$ off that hundred bill). In all seriousness that is possible at this point, this episode is for the ranters of the world. For those that just need a vent for the hot air that builds from time to time. We love you.
