He is the NSW competitions manager and member of the state association… and he's heavily involved in the planning of this year's Australian Pickleball Championships. The Pickleball Librarian had a fun time with the Topeka Pickleball Association's celebration of National Pickleball Month where they rented 18 courts for their members and also provided the new Pickleball Club sandwich from Subway. Then he talks to Maurice The Grease, one of the funniest guys in pickleball, about meeting Timothy Nelson aka The Puppet Master in Alaska. The Pickleball Librarian is back with Everybody in the US is talking about the recent Pickleball Slam featuring some of the best tennis players in recent history: John McEnroe, Michael Chang, Andre Agassi, and Andy Roddick. The Pickleball Librarian first interviews Joseph Johnson, the president of the Pikes Peak Pickleball Association in Colorado Springs. While discussing the Pickleball Slam, Joseph talks about the two-way street with pickleball and tennis. He also shares how well his association works with local governments to build courts, the upcoming Pikes Peak or Bust Pickleball Tournament, and what's going on in pickleball for Southern Colorado. Many organizations are invited to contact his association for more information and tips on working with their local government. Colorado Springs is definitely a pickleball hotspot!
