Sierra Elbert wears many hats, including wife, mother, pet owner, entrepreneur of a board and groom, dog groomer, and educator. Her family includes Cory, her husband, Grace, her daughter, Aspen, a rough-coated Collie, and Sterling, a Dandie Dinmont Terrier. Elbert is a second-generation groomer. Although she learned her trade from her mother, Elbert earned her International Certified Pet Groomer (ICPG) certification and Dermatech Specialist (PDS) recognized by the International Society of Canine Cosmetology (ISCC). Sierra is the instructor for the Professional Dog Grooming program and coordinates seminars for existing groomers at Iowa Lakes Community College. Mackensie Murphy has been a member of GroomTeam USA for seven consecutive years. Over the past six years, she has ranked among the top 3 competitive groomers in the country boasting multiple Best in Show and Best All Around competitor awards.
