In this episode we have a very non-religious, open talk about Paganism, Earth Centered Beliefs, and deciding if I’m a #devilwoman or not. We look back into History, my personal spiritual experiences, and negative stereotypes for this Celebration of the Cycles of the Year and Earth. I’m not here to debate or change anything, I’m here to share what I connect with, express my love for Nature, and shed light on the gifts that paganism has given me. I’m so happy I can be open and share my beliefs in a nonjudgmental way here- and the same goes for you!Links Mentioned:Yay! Episode 7- Overwhelmed and Overworked- Do you have time to get better?

Play Episode Listen Later May 26, 2020 25:00

How many times have we said out loud to ourselves, family, or co-workers- “I just don’t have time to get sick right now!” As if it’s a total inconvenience that is going to set us back, take away from our lives, slow us down. What we’re really saying is “If I do get sick, I do not have the time to get better.” We are an overwhelmed, stressed out, overworked society that puts many, many things above self care, our health, and time off. We don’t look at self care as a way of life, we look at it as a treat. We see our health as something we will deal with if it needs attending to, not something we will support and keep oiled like a machine. And time off… what is that? Most people with jobs have a predetermined number of days laid out ahead of time every year that a company dictates as an acceptable amount of time you can be sick, and those days are often not meant to be used for emotional or mental health. We test, push, and drain our health. We fill our lives to the point where we don’t have time to get sick BECAUSE we are under the assumption we can’t take the time to get better…why is that? And how can we change our mindset around it?Be sure to come hang out with me on here on InstagramI would love for you to Join our Group by signing up for the Newsletter here!Feel free to reach out for a 1 on 1 Meditation Class with me here and experience all the natural health benefits of this Self Care practice.
