The Worthfull Project podcast, hosted by Christine, is a truly inspiring and uplifting listen. From her open-hearted vibe to her insightful interviews and solo episodes, this podcast radiates positivity and provides valuable insights for personal growth and self-worth. Christine's welcoming energy is consistent throughout each episode, making it a joy to listen to. The short, uplifting affirmations sprinkled throughout the podcast are a delightful addition that keeps me coming back for more.

One of the best aspects of this podcast is the variety of guests that Christine brings on. She has a talent for finding authentic, open, and interesting individuals who offer unique perspectives and valuable insights. Each interview feels like a genuine conversation filled with warmth and vulnerability. I particularly enjoyed the episode about divorce with Danielle Paxton, as it provided valuable lessons and was shared with friends who also found it worthwhile.

Another highlight of The Worthfull Project is Christine's ability to make people feel comfortable enough to be vulnerable. Her calm voice amidst the chaotic messages in media today creates a peaceful assurance that we have what we need to succeed in our chosen paths. Her professional experience shines through as she curates messages that inspire success and build momentum towards reaching our full potential.

While there are no major drawbacks to this podcast, some listeners may find that the topics discussed are not always relevant or applicable to their own lives. However, even if all episodes may not resonate equally with everyone, there is still value in listening to different perspectives and learning from others' experiences.

In conclusion, The Worthfull Project is a must-listen podcast for anyone seeking inspiration, personal growth, and reminders of their own worth. Christine's genuine love, compassion, and dedication shine through each episode, leaving listeners feeling uplifted and motivated. This podcast serves as a beacon of light in a world filled with chaotic messages and offers valuable insights that can positively impact one's life. I highly recommend giving it a listen!

It's our season finale episode for Season 6 of the show! I'm reflecting on what I learned about my self-worth this year, especially in light of it being the most intense year of my life thus far. I love the perspective and clearing the end of the year offers, and I'm grateful for all the lessons I've learned this year about caring for my self-worth and what I'm responsible for. Wishing you a happy holiday season and a deep, peaceful sense of your own worth. You can email me your feedback from this season to christine@worthfullproject.com :)

But, as always, there is a role for our worth to play even in times like these.

There is so much wisdom in this little mantra, and I'm going to try it on as my daily reminder for the next few months and report back what I learn about my self-worth as I seek out less egos and more amigos -- and practice this myself. I'm so delighted to welcome back my dear friend and multiple-time guest on the podcast, Rebecca, to guest host this episode and . . . interview me! I'm back from an unplanned summer break. And we are almost at episode 200! Wow. I'm excited to share again what I'm learning about worth in this season -- because it's a season where I'm working every day far out of my comfort zone, on stuff I'm not good at, and it feels like my performance-based worth is at a low. But my innate worth is unchanged. And that dissonance is a surprise.

“It's easier to build our self worth with kind words when things are going well."   It's just me today on the episode, reminding myself of some basic self-worth tips. I've noticed that it's easier to build my self-worth when things are going well -- and that's important to do so that when I'm in a tough chapter I have some self-worth reserves to lean on. One of the most effective ways to build our self-worth is to verbally acknowledge what we like and respect about ourselves that isn't related to the results we create. And that's easier to do when we are feeling good about ourselves.

She is so wise, so kind, and so productive -- which is why I was fascinated by her take on the benefit of slowing down, letting yourself empty out, and not trying to fill yourself up right away. It has to do with the worth of our words when we are specific -- especially when it comes to our work, our values, our decisions, our relationships, and more. Something I've noticed that I get much more excited and inspired by someone who is specific about what they are up to in the world than someone who is vaguely broad in how they talk about themselves or their work. I'm trying to get specific when I talk about what I do, believe, care about, etc. It's a work in progress, but I believe it's helping me align my words with my worth.

But if we don't connect the dots for ourselves first between our worth and money, it's very challenging for someone else to."     I want to talk about the relationship between our self-worth, our work, and money for a few episodes. Obviously, this is a super impactful relationship in all of our lives. I've been learning a lot about this relationship for the past several years, especially as a professional who sets her own prices for her work. I don't have all the answers, but I have found some helpful questions to ask ourselves as we explore the current state of affairs inside our own minds when it comes to how we value our worth, work, and money. “Just like our brain is never going to stop forcefully telling us to stay in our comfort zone, our worth is never going to stop gently prodding us to leave it."     I really enjoyed International Women's Day this year and took it to heart. I remembered the ways women do incredible work every day and the ways I do great work every day. It prompted me to record an episode about the lie our brain likes to tell us that when we are struggling in our work, we are the only ones. Not true. We are not the only ones; in fact, we are in great company when we are pushing ourselves out of our comfort zones and letting our worth direct us to new horizons. “It's easy for us to forget, in times like this, that we actually do have the power to do good with our platforms."     It's been a rough week in the world, specifically because Russia invaded Ukraine and brought a lot of of suffering to innocent people. But these are the times we live in and they require us to decide how we use our platforms and our spheres of influence to do good when lots of bad is happening around us. I think about this a lot because I work in media production, but I think this choice is relevant to all of us, regardless of what we do for work. I'm sharing what I'm learning about the power of letting our worth guide our choices in our work and our content when the world is in chaos and why that matters, no matter how big or small our sphere of influence is.

“I think we're ending a 10 year cycle of a certain kind of messaging and marketing about this idea that you can monetize your passion if you just use the right tools and buy the right program and hire the right coach."     I'm unpacking the super popular idea that if you learn how to monetize your passion, your worth will be fully owned in your work and the money you've dreamed of making will be yours. I do in fact know people who have done this. But I also know many others who do great work in a field that isn't their true passion and they are also fully owning their worth in their work. Since this is such a sell-able idea, and can be a source of comparisonitis for many, I wanted to suggest some ways I've been navigating these ideas.

“The technology keeps changing, but connection and trust are what still work. Ideas that spread, win. Ideas that stick are worth even more. You can race to be first on a new platform, but it's far better to be the voice that we would miss if you weren't there.”   Seth Godin   It's the beginning of Season 5! I took a good break over the holidays and into the new year and now I'm ready for a new season -- which means a new theme and a new format for the episodes. I'm excited to dedicate a whole season of this podcast to the thing thing has been top of mind for me for a while: owning my worth in my work and encouraging others to do the same. As I'm learning how to be a better business owner, service provider, sales person, marketer, and human being who gets paid for her skills, I have so many new thoughts about how to own our worth in our work . . . and how not to. That's what we'll be exploring this season! Subscribe on your favorite listening app and let's begin.

Wow, what a year this was and what a gift committing to making these affirmation episodes has been to me. There were many weeks this year that I didn't think I had it in me to record another affirmation from my worth, but I did it anyway and I'm grateful. I'm recapping what I learned this year from this creative project and what I have in store for Season 5. "Maybe you've been going at your very highest pace for a very long time."     The phrase "grace for your pace" descended into my mind a few weeks ago, and I saved it for a worthfull affirmation episode. It seems that the times we live in are a constant pull on our pace. There's always a request for us to go faster or to give more, but that isn't always what's actually needed. Our pace is often just fine, or a little too fast already, and giving ourselves grace for that makes all the difference. This worthfull affirmation is a reminder to check in on the grace you are giving yourself. For your pace, for other's pace, and for the greater community's pace. Could you give a little more grace for that pace? Give it a try.   Links mentioned: Music Credit: These Times by Blue Dot Sessions Follow Christine: Instagram | Facebook | Pinterest

"How well are you stewarding yourself?"     I get to edit my friend Tiffany Peterson's podcast, which is a delight. Recently on her show, she posed the question, "How well are you stewarding yourself?" It struck me immediately because I'd never thought about self-care in that way before. Then I started to think about how this relates to our worth. This worthfull affirmation is an opportunity for you to ask yourself the same question. If our worth is the best steward we can ask for, are we letting it fill that role? What would happen if we did? I think we'd experience the best care we can imagine, and we can decide to do this starting right now.   Links mentioned: Tiffany Peterson Music Credit: Idle Ways by Blue Dot Sessions Follow Christine: Instagram | Facebook | Pinterest

She's a world-renown relationship therapist that teaches about how important it is to be connected to our aliveness, the fact that we are seen and known. I've been thinking about how powerful it is to know that we are known. Not just by others, but by ourselves, and by our worth. This worthfull affirmation is a reminder to you that you are known. I hadn't ever thought that the only thing that might need to change in my life is the amount of love I give to myself. I loved exploring this idea and asking myself the question, what would happen if I only increased the amount of love I showed to myself? This worthfull affirmation is a reminder to you, and an invitation, to change the amount of love you give to yourself. To increase it wildly. "I know that you're working your very hardest at being the kind of person you wish you were."     As usual, I recorded this affirmation for myself, because it's what I needed to hear. I read a snippet somewhere recently that started with, "I know that life is . . ." and it felt so comforting to hear someone else acknowledge the circumstances I was feeling. One of the best ways I've found to soothe myself is to speak to myself through the voice of my worth. So that's where this affirmation is coming from. This worthfull affirmation is a comfort for you. A chair to sit down on for a minute. A warm cup of tea to sip. A beautiful scene to take in. It's a reminder that all of your effort and all of your demands are seen and known. And that you don't have to carry the weight of the world, even if it feels like it.   Links mentioned: Music Credit: Morning Colorwheel by Blue Dot Sessions Follow Christine: Instagram | Facebook | Pinterest

Crises in Afghanistan, Haiti, and so many places as a result of the Earth's climate crisis and humanity's crises around politics and social justice have all hit at once. I've been doing my best to educate myself on how to help and also to understand what we've let happen to get us here. I know that worth is at the center of the way forward. It always is. This worthfull affirmation is a tribute to the women in Afghanistan, and around the world, who have built the mountain taller for those who come after them, and the pain they are experiencing right now as it appears to be swept away.   Links mentioned: Music Credit: Flor Vjell by Blue Dot Sessions Follow Christine: Instagram | Facebook | Pinterest

"Maybe when it hasn't happened yet, it's because the very best version of it hasn't quite been birthed."     I've been working on something for a long time that hasn't happened yet. It's felt like a marathon that's lasted months, maybe years. It's a really good thing that I know will be good for everyone involved. It's the thing I really care about right now. And it hasn't happened yet. I'm starting to see the wisdom in this wait; it's a time for my worth to really come to the surface and reveal herself to me. This worthfull affirmation is a reminder that when it hasn't happened yet, it's not because your worth is on the line. In fact, it may very well be because your worth needed to remind you that nothing you are waiting on will add to your worth.   Links mentioned: Music Credit: Watercooler Quiet by Blue Dot Sessions Follow Christine: Instagram | Facebook | Pinterest

"Being the best, when you're in a class of one, is a privilege and a joy."   I recently found a card I wrote to myself years ago. It was a simple pick-me-up, a reminder for a rainy day. On the front of the card it said, "You're the best," in lovely gold scripting. I set it on my desk for a nice little reminder. And then I started thinking about that idea. What does it mean to be the best at being ourselves? Isn't that what's at the heart of living worthfully? I think so. This worthfull affirmation is a reminder that you are the best at being you. You're in a class of one. Being the best comes with no burden, no competition, and no hierarchy. "Be patient with yourself. Nothing in nature blooms all year."   I've been practicing a lot of patience so far this year. In the pandemic, in my business, in my marriage, in other ways. It's been powerful and stretching and at times tiring. But I'm trusting that seasons of patience are leading to seasons of blooming and activity and excitement. And that I'll be so grateful I had the patience to experience all of these quiet moments before the bloom. This worthfull affirmation is a reminder that every season has deep value for us - the blooming, the shedding, the hibernation, and the germination. Patience is what lets our worth do its work and bring us again and again to a new bloom.   Links mentioned: Music Credit: Morning Colorwheel by Blue Dot Sessions Follow Christine: Instagram | Facebook | Pinterest
