Remembering that we are worthy is something that is required - we have been taught that worth is something that we have to earn and work for. This is not the truth! We are born worthy. All life is worthy and in this meditation I will help you to remember your worth. That you are life, you are whole and that you are worthy. This meditation is inspired by the beautiful poetic meditations of Sarah Blondin. If you are interested in having a Chakra Reading then please have a look here.Much loveRosanne xx Hosted on Acast. Well this is a topic that is definitely close to my heart and I have experienced in such strong ways. I am so grateful that I was able to sit with Kristen Harding, a local mom and owner of PillarBox Gifts, to talk about how to "find ourselves" in the dense forest of motherhood. The pressures of motherhood have high standards where we feel this need to "mom so hard" all-the-time. It's easy to get a bit lost in that forest. Or very lost. On top of it we don't use our own compass to get to where we need to be- we look around at others and feel we should be where they are or do what they're doing. Trust me, I speak from experience. A piece of advice, you do not have to have the same journey as anyone else. Write your own story. But first- you have to connect with who you truly are beyond the role of a mother. How? Listen to this episode as Kristen and I share our stories and she gives incredible guidance and hope for a life where you can truly be happy and fulfilled on your terms. A bit more about Kristen: Kristen is a stay-at-home mom to an amazing little boy while running my own business doing something that she loves. Motherhood has inspired her to create a strong yearning for community and connection that she didn't have before. Kristen has a strong passion for art and creating and chose to use these skills to create gifts for other women as a means to show them how truly valuable and loved they are and to help create a community of women supporting women. Thank you so much for listening and sharing this episode with some friends. I hope that this episode can help you in some way and know I'm here if you ever want to connect and chat. I reached out to Sarah a couple months ago, soon after the birth of our child looking for some help and support. I found myself in a very closed and contracted place and after googling 'heart opening' I found her podcast on Sounds True, listened, and immediately downloaded her book, Heart Minded, How to Hold Yourself and Others in Love. I suppose it was the right time and the book was exactly what I needed. After listening through twice back to back, I emailed Sarah and was grateful to hear back. It was a couple months since that email, many lessons and the result ended up being more of a conversation about her experience and process, my own and a sharing and exploration of nurturing and keeping an open heart in the midst of both calm and turbulent waters. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/mindufulenduranceprogram/support

In this episode we will be delving into how we can start to let go of overthinking and instead start furthering our ability to pay attention in the present and cultivate the grounding attitude with four simple steps while also looking at gratitude. I will share some words of wisdom from my favorite mindfulness guru's and take you through a guided meditation. Challenge: Today I would like to challenge you to add to your daily reflection journal, write down three things from your day today that you are grateful for. Try to be as specific as you can about what it is and why you feel grateful. If you continue with this practice, try to vary what you write every day as this has been shown as having a greater effect. Today we are talking about the process of finding out who we truly are. Who is the truest version of ourselves? How do we find her? I am still working on learning this. This is my journey of me documenting my process of healing my emotional weight. Here is the Sarah Blondin meditation link: https://insig.ht/u8nDYWBRAmb. Welcome to my podcast! I am on a journey to losing 150 pounds but I don't want to just diet and gain it all back again. I want to really figure out why I am eating. What am I lacking in my life? What is food doing for me? What is food covering up and protecting me from? I want to discover what I am currently believing? Where did I learn that belief? What do I want to believe and share the journey of how I am going to change my thinking around those issues so that I can start having a healthier relationship with myself. In turn it may naturally help me develop a healthier relationship with food. You can find my blog below where each episode is in text form. "Change nothing except the amount of love you give to yourself." - Sarah Blondin I heard this beautiful phrase while listening to a meditation a few weeks ago, and it sunk right into my heart. I hadn't ever thought that the only thing that might need to change in my life is the amount of love I give to myself. I loved exploring this idea and asking myself the question, what would happen if I only increased the amount of love I showed to myself? This worthfull affirmation is a reminder to you, and an invitation, to change the amount of love you give to yourself. To increase it wildly. And to believe that when we change nothing except the amount of love we give to ourselves, we change everything. On this very special episode that we recorded after a long time, Madhuri and Rutika take us into the corners of Azaadi (Freedom). Madhuri reads an excerpt from 'Azaadi Mera Brand' by Anuradha Beniwal and redefines Azaadi ka Kona in thoughts and people we encounter. Rutika brings in Azaadi ka Mediatation 'I Would Like To Give You Permission' by Sarah Blondin where words become a gateway to introspect / heal / feel free. This has been the most exciting conversation and we hope you find your bits of freedom in this. We hear the word consistency a lot - in our creative work, our lives, our practice. It's as if we will lose everything if we step off the consistency treadmill - but we tend to lose ourselves in that binary process. But what can be manifested from a body consistently comparing itself, stressing itself to meet others' demands and own expectations? If you feel the weight of that word, and all the success it promises, then remember that consistency originally means ‘to be standing firm' - and you don't have to lose yourself to that kind of stagnancy.Instead, remember the word accumulative, meaning ‘to contribute through movement' and keep adding those small moments of value to your life that move you forward. These are taproots. It is the first root to appear from the seed and remains the largest, central root of the plant. Desert plants can send roots down more than 75 feet. This taproot absorbs water and minerals from the earth and serves as a food storage and a reserve. This ability to not rely on the surface makes these plants more self-sufficient and resilient during hard winters and severe drought. So too have you been gifted a taproot that reaches deep below this surfacery world. It was the first seed of self-sufficiency planted within you that empowers you to survive times that leave you feeling alone, uncertain and vulnerable.Follow what makes you feel most nourished, most embodied, most connected, and you will be following your taproot inward. And do not fear the surface life for it does not determine how well you bloom, only your roots have the power to do that.___________________Feel free to share these words if you believe they could be of guidance to another soul.______________________Links:@sez.kristiansenhello@sezkristiansen.comwww.sezkristiansen.com

Today, we will remind ourselves of the doorway we all have within that leads us to the often mysterious awakening of self-love. Opening our hearts towards ourselves allows us to seek less acceptance & validation from others- and turn that energy into nurturing ourselves into a state of expansive awareness. This is a guided imagery meditation for those like myself, who find self-love a heavy word in a foreign language. I hope it opens, heals & serves you in some way today. Welcome to this week's episode of The Lorraine Murphy Show. I'm especially grateful for you listening this week as I know this is a very challenging time for most of us. This week's episode is a little different to what you're used to, as it's a recording of the live Masterclass I hosted this week. In this episode, I share the seven strategies that I'm adopting in my own life and also encouraging my community to adopt as well - in order to keep ourselves as fortified and positive as possible to face the continued uncertainty of how COVID-19 will unfold in the coming weeks and months. Some of the key resources I shared during were: Insight Timer meditation app - some of the favourite teachers were Sarah Blondin, Tomek Wyczesany & Andrew Johnson Frankincense & lavender essential oils and Resonate Essences serenity spray Positive peeps to follow on Instagram: @PetaJean_, @_SarahWilson_, @Elizabeth_Gilbert_writer, @ClaireOWellness, @upworthy To help with the planning & structure.. my Cook-up Club Compendium - use code LMSHOW to get $10 off I also share that I've decided to make my Step Into You program (which starts Friday 27th March) as accessible as I possibly can - as right now, women need to band together more than potentially any time in our lifetimes. This means that rather than the original investment of $347, the program is available for just $99. I have never, EVER discounted a product like this (it's a 72% reduction) however I am very sure that it's the right thing to do for my community right now. Weirdly, Step Into You seems perfectly tailored for this uncertain time we find ourselves in - it's designed to help you fill your own tank, create some gentle structure around your life, tap into your purpose and have the support of me and the group around you for the whole six weeks. To sign up for Step Into You, go to my website: lorrainemurphy.com.au. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Welcome to episode 40! In this week's episode, we're chatting with Sarah Blondin who is the writer and creator of the transformational podcast, “Live Awake”. She spends her days, raising (and wrangling) her two young sons, in the countryside of British Columbia, Canada. She is currently writing her first book, due to release in the fall of 2019. After spending years disconnected and at odds with her inner self and world, Sarah moved from Vancouver, to rural BC-and took a deep dive within. Through years of introspection and quiet solitude, Sarah uncovered for the first time, her authentic writing voice, and connected with what she calls “ a mainline to her divine source of wisdom.” She found ways to allow her heart to guide and govern, and to override the fear and trepidation she had around being vulnerably open. Coming awake to the beauty she believes is intended for each of us, Sarah has dedicated her life to the pursuit of helping others find their feeling hearts again. She hopes that what she has gleaned through years of deep introspection, and meditation will assist listeners in turning toward themselves, and uncovering the great wealth carried within. Listen to the interview! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Busy pursuing a career in Acting in Vancouver, life took a massive turn when Sarah became pregnant with her first son. Her spirit called her- rather forced- her into nature. Upon submersion into solitude and the quiet country life she discovered her authentic writing voice and began creating the podcast series ‘Live Awake' (August 2015-current). Her teachings and meditations have been requested for use in prisons in the United States as well as recovery and wellness programs, and have been translated into several different languages. She has since given birth to her second son and attributes much of her creativity and insights to becoming and being mother.
