What if I told you that the key to finally losing weight (and keeping it off) might not be eating less... but eating more?I know, I know… it sounds completely backwards, especially when we've been conditioned to believe that weight loss means restriction, smaller portions, skipping meals, and cutting out the foods we love. But I'm here to flip the script and show you a much more sustainable, evidence-based way.In this episode, I'm sharing 5 powerful, science-backed habits that will actually help you eat more and lose weight, without calorie counting, restricting carbs, or spending hours at the gym. These are the exact habits I teach inside my program and the same ones I used to maintain my 11kg weight loss effortlessly for years. Here's what you'll learn: ✨ Why eating less might be the actual reason you're not losing weight ✨ How outdated diet advice is keeping you stuck and frustrated ✨ 5 realistic habits you can start implementing right now to boost fat loss ✨ Why protein (especially at breakfast!) is a game-changer ✨ The one shift that helped me (and my clients) go from yo-yo dieting to feeling free and in control around foodI also open up about my personal story… how I started dieting at 13, what a nutritionist once told me to do (spoiler: it made things worse), and how I finally broke free from diet culture by focusing on nourishing, not depriving, my body.If you've ever felt like your body is “broken,” or you're doing everything “right” and still not seeing results… this episode is for you.Let's break free from food rules and start doing what actually works for real women with real lives.Grab your coffee and notebook… we're diving in!LINKS:Apply for coaching: HEREFollow Angela on Instagram: HERE

When you hear the word, feedback, what comes up for you? Most of us do not have a neutral relationship with feedback. It's tangled up with our past experiences, workplace power dynamics, cultural expectations, and–importantly–our early relational wounds. But at its core, feedback is a deeply relational act that has the power to help us unburden rather than re-wound.Which is why it's so frustrating that feedback in leadership and workplace culture is so often done without care, rendering the process performative, detached, and isolating. Some of the constraints that can hamper authentic feedback in the workplace are necessary and protective, but it feels like we've lost the plot for the role and purpose of feedback, and in some cases, have abandoned it altogether. But it is possible to navigate these complex systems intentionally and with clarity. We can make feedback a tool for accountability, care, and growth that helps leaders strengthen their self-awareness and be better advocates for their teams. My guest today helps us unpack how leaders can cultivate a feedback culture that allows for mistakes, growth, and realignment.Therese Huston, Ph.D., is a Cognitive Neuroscientist and Faculty Development Consultant at Seattle University. While it's not a scientifically recognised food category, the term “superfoods” has become common when referring to certain foods that are very rich in nutrients and micronutrients. You may have heard about the disease-preventing wonders of seeds and algae for example, or weight loss benefits associated with fruits such as goji berries, spirulina, and pomegranates. Let's investigate whether all the hype is actually justified! Back in February 2019, health and fitness writer K. Aleisha Fetters penned an article for Vice.com under the headline “There's No Such Thing As A Superfood.” Fetters said that superfoods are in reality “something between wishful thinking and really effective marketing.” Is there any doubt as to whether they're good for you? So, superfoods are actually useless then, are they? Can you give me any examples? In under 3 minutes, we answer your questions! In today's Workday Playdate Snack, we're sending a leadership love letter to the quiet ones—the deep thinkers, the spreadsheet whisperers, the back-row observers who see everything. Because if you've ever left a meeting thinking, “Why didn't they speak up?” or “I wish I'd said that…”—this snack's for you. The Problem: Okay, picture this: You're in a team meeting. The extroverts are riffing, the whiteboard is filling up, and you notice someone hasn't said a word. You know they've got gold in their head, but they haven't chimed in. Or maybe... that person is you. Too many workplaces reward the loudest voice in the room. But when we only value volume, we silence vision. And let's be real—your quiet teammates? They're not zoned out. They're tuned in. The Improv Hack to Try: The Character Swap Hack What can you do to make space for that quiet brilliance? Here's a leadership tweak I've never shared before—and it's straight from the improv stage. Before your next meeting, mentally pick a quieter teammate. (No need to tell them—it's your secret leadership lab.) Then ask: How would they run this meeting? What would they focus on? How would they pace it? Now the fun part: Kick off the meeting as if you were them. Use their tone, their cadence, their intentionality. In improv, we step into other characters to explore new perspectives. And when you do this in leadership? You build empathy, highlight hidden genius, and create meetings that feel less like a race—and more like a rhythm. Bonus: You might just change your whole team vibe for the better. Coming Up Wednesday: Loved this Snack? Today we're talking about one of my favorite tools in functional and regenerative medicine, peptides. It's also quite the buzzword these days, but in this episode we're going deeper to explore how you can best stack them for your desired outcomes. You can think of peptide stacks as powerful curated treatment plans (without all the side effects you want to avoid!). When I first heard of peptides, I was so intrigued that I couldn't wait to experiment with them. In fact, I ordered thousands of dollars worth. I recently put together my own stack for surgery and recovery preparation. But there are many different outcomes you can stack for, including reducing inflammation, gut healing, anti-aging and longevity, and more. Peptides are just chains of amino acids that naturally occur. One powerful peptide is BPC-157, which is incredible for healing and nerve regeneration. When injected close to the site of an injury, it can help with all types of tissue and ligament damage. Thymosin alpha 1 is one of the most exciting peptides for immune dysfunction. It helps the immune system differentiate between friend and foe. Some peptides are better injected, but many can also be taken orally. GHK-copper can be used a few different ways, for instance, taken orally or used topically. It boosts collagen and reduces oxidative stress. Epitalon is associated with lowering all-cause mortality and is often used in anti-aging protocols. AOD9604 is a fragment of human growth hormone, and it promotes fat burning. One of my top peptides right now is MOTS-c, which supports insulin sensitivity and mitochondrial health, which is especially great for active people. The earlier you start using peptides, the more beneficial they can be for you in restoring and maintaining your beauty and health. www.beautyculturespa.com @beautyculture.medspa

Quietmind Astrology — Learn Vedic Astrology with Jeremy Devens
This week, I'm answering a question I get all the time—what do you do with a so-called “bad placement” in astrology? You might have a difficult planetary placement like a debilitation or a tough transit coming up like sade sati and you've heard about things like chanting mantras, wearing gemstones, doing rituals, fasting, wearing certain colors, and so on… but what actually works? In this episode, I share what I've found to be the most effective Vedic astrology remedies—based not just on the texts and tradition, but on real-world experience doing 1-1 readings and my own personal practice. I'll walk you through when to use a remedy, how to choose one, and the real reason why some remedies work for one person but not another. Here's the thing: remedies aren't about magically fixing your chart. They're about creating the conditions for the positive expression of a planetary energy to emerge—through intentionality, practice, and personal alignment. You'll also learn:— Why I don't recommend gemstone prescriptions unless they feel intuitively aligned— How to choose which graha (planet) to work with— Why behavior and daily action are the most powerful remedies of all— How to use mantras, mudras, yantras, and even your clothes or decor for planetary support— Which remedies are best for mental health, clarity, grounding, and emotional healing— How yoga is one of the most accessible and empowering remedy systems there is— A simple approach to trying remedies out: give it a week, see what shifts, and go from thereI also share some of my own personal stories about things I've tried that didn't work, what I've found most grounding, and why intuition is the key ingredient in every remedy—because what works for you might be totally different than what works for someone else. And if you want to learn the exact yoga practices I use for each graha, I made a free downloadable PDF that goes with this episode—The Quietmind Astrology Guide to Remedies. You can grab it below. At the end of the episode, I also invite you to my free live workshop: Become Your Own Yoga Teacher. This is the perfect way to work with remedies through your body. It's totally free to join. Details below
