Also zum Beispiel Modernes wie SIEBEN, BATMAN BEGINS, WHIPLASH, THE DESCENT oder Ausgefallenes wie BIRDBOY: THE FORGOTTEN CHILDREN. PHENOMENA, HARDCORE HENRY, Geliebtes wie BREAKFAST CLUB, ADAM'S ÄPFEL und DESPERADO, ganz klassisches wie ROLLERBALL oder DIE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW und natürlich auch Gummi-artiges wie GODZILLA VS. DESTOROYAH. It’s only been just over a month since the release of survey 3. Survey 4 last year was a fairly stable affair. This time though there’s been some significant change at the top with new No 1 stations in Sydney and Melbourne. Let’s start in Melbourne with Gold 104.3 No 1 in the city. This ends the long reign of Nine’s 3AW and is the first time that station has reached No 1 since 1992. Congrats to them. Ross and Russ retained top spot in breakfast with Nova 100’s Jase and Lauren No 1 FM and Gold’s Christian O’Connell right behind. Kyle and Jackie O were up .5 which will make ARN happy. The new Triple M breakfast show of Mick Molloy, Roo, Rosie and Titus had the biggest gains overall perhaps in part attributable to being mid AFL season. SEN 1116 too was up across the board. In Sydney, Nine’s 2GB also lost top spot and while Ben Fordham held onto No 1 breakfast, Mark Levy dropped behind smooth 95.3 in the morning and all day parts and even weekends took hits, except for John Stanley in the evening. KIIS 1065 however had a great survey. Kyle and Jackie O were up 1.4 and the station 1.1. The other biggest breakfast winner was ABC newsradio which I’m at least in part putting down to coverage of the mushroom trial which has proved to be a listening boon for the ABC. Outside of 2GB Nova 969 had the biggest losses at breakfast but I suspect that the absence of Kate Ritchie from that show will be resolved before survey 5. Brisbane, Triple M held top spot overall and reclaimed it for Marto, Margaux and Dan on breakfast. Nova 106.9’s Ash Luttsy and Nikki Osborne dropped 1.0 to third in breakfast after just clinching top spot last survey. It’s very tight in the city. 4BH had a great survey, BBQ Bob on breakfast up to a 10% audience share. KIIS 97.3 not so much. They’re now 5th overall behind 4BH and Bob. Adelaide - Mix 102.3 saw the biggest drop and Triple M the biggest gains but still are No 1 and 2 overall respectively. Triple M’s Roo Ditts and Loz took back No 1 in breakfast from Hayley and Max at Mix. fiveaa’s David and Will saw the biggest improvement in breakfast for the talk station, up 1.7 to an 11.4 audience share. Finally Perth and 96FM retained No 1 overall from Nova 93.7 but both had more than 2% losses and Nath, Nat and Shaun on Nova breakfast were down 4% but so dominant in the spot they were still clear No 1. Triple M’s Xav and Katie were up 3.4% to sneak into second spot in breakfast with that new this year pairing, and AFL season working for the station which was up 1.7 to a 10.9 audience share. 6ix had a great survey too, up 1.5 overall and 1.6 in breakfast. eir, Ireland's leading telecommunications provider, today announces the nationwide launch of its ultra-fast 5 Gigabit (5Gb) fibre broadband, setting a new benchmark for speed, performance, and connectivity in Irish homes. This follows eir's February rollout of Ireland's first WiFi 7 system, introducing Wide-Fi, a cutting-edge mesh network that eliminates dead zones and supports up to 200 devices - delivering speeds twice as fast as WiFi 6. eir has built Ireland's largest fibre network, now available to more than 1.3 million homes and businesses - and expanding every day. As part of a €1.7 billion investment in digital infrastructure, eir is upgrading eligible 2Gb customers on its WiFi 7-powered Wide-Fi system to 5Gb speeds - significantly enhancing how people work, stream, and connect. eir's powerful new 5Gb speed tier is available today - and as a major bonus, thousands of customers who signed up for WiFi 7 and 2 Gigabit fibre plans earlier this year will be automatically upgraded at no extra cost. The launch comes at a perfect time, as one of the world's most anticipated game updates is set to drop in the coming days. With an estimated 80GB download size, eir 5Gb fibre can handle the entire update in as little as two minutes - more than twice as fast as 2Gbps connections - ensuring less time waiting and more time playing. "With 5Gb speeds and cutting-edge WiFi 7, eir is delivering the ultimate broadband experience for busy modern homes - where everyone is online, all at once, for everything from streaming the latest GAA match to studying, gaming, working remotely, or simply unwinding with a movie," said Kealan Donoghue, Managing Director of eir's Consumer and Small Business Division. "Only eir offers this powerful combination of next-generation WiFi 7 and 5Gb fibre connectivity in Ireland - making us the clear choice for families who expect more from their internet. With the launch of 5Gb fibre, we're offering customers next-generation connectivity at incredible value, and we're proud to reward our early adopters by upgrading their service for free." eir 5Gb fibre isn't just for gaming and streaming - it's engineered to support the evolving needs of modern households and businesses: Reliable, multi-device smart home support Ultra-low latency for online gaming and AR/VR experiences Lightning-fast cloud access for remote work and content creation Seamless 4K/8K streaming, HD video calls, and file transfers - all at once From 4 June, eir's 5Gb broadband with WiFi 7 replaces the 2Gb plan for eir customers, available from just €49.99 per month - significantly undercutting rival offerings. eir customers benefit from the latest WiFi 7 technology for superior in-home performance. With fibre-to-the-home usage up nearly 40% year-on-year, eir continues to expand its future-ready network to meet growing demand. To learn more or check availability, visit eir.ie. Football tragic Andy Paschalidis was in his 50s when a dear friend and fellow player died during an over-35s soccer game. The tragedy inspired him to begin a whole new story for himself, and the sport (R)Andy grew up in Sydney's Balmain when it was a working-class suburb, full of migrant families. His parents had arrived in Australia from Greece a few years before, seeking a different life.Andy grew up to be one of the first Greek-Australian sports broadcasters on TV and radio on SBS and 2GB, and he never lost his zeal for football. When he was in his early 50s, Andy joined an ordinary weekend over-35s football game as he did each weekend. His friend and fellow player Matt Richardson had a heart attack on the pitch that day and died. He was just 42 years old. Then Andy discovered another friend had recently seen his teammate die exactly the same way. He decided to take six months off work to find a way to reduce the number of deaths in Australian amateur football. Since then Heartbeat of Football has saved many lives. This episode of Conversations explores grief, mateship, masculinity, male health, health and wellbeing, heart attacks, heart disease, cardiac arrest, signs of heart attack, exercise, football, FIFA, soccer, senior sports, older sports, amateur sports, deaths on the field, health, safety, migration, migrant Australians, first generation Australians, post-war migration, Sydney. When Andy's conversation with Richard first went to air, a listener named Kevin Whitby realised he was having a heart attack. Minutes later, he presented himself to the emergency department at Wollongong Hospital, where medical staff confirmed he needed immediate treatment.Since we last spoke with Andy, last year in Sydney alone, six footballers (the youngest of which was 13 years old) have been saved in the midst of on-field cardiac incidents by the defibrillators provided by Andy's charity.Learn more about the work of Heartbeat of Football.
